Lock UP! huh? Nice. (O2A)

He was well dressed. A business suit. Black suit. Hair well placed. He walked down one of the halls of the GCW building. It has been awhile seen we've seen him around. Things happened. The Nova can't just think about himself. He got dragged into... business. That's what he called it. Plain and simple.

Officially, the people of the near destroyed bridge were saved by firemen. The Nova wasn't seen since a while and there was no time to be a Hero these days, especially with the jackasses around GCW. He looked at one board on a vast wall. His eyes stopped when he saw 'The Nova' on top of the Lock UP! Roster list. Je was quite happy about this.

Under the whole list, he saw Kimberly Masters. He didn't know her at all, or her name. But he knew that was the General Manager of the show. He wanted to be on Lock UP! since the start. He just didn't know why. It was a weird feeling that's all.

Shelby had recently just signed a contract with the GCW, and was making her way out the door when she spotted a fairly large television, displaying the split roster. She was curious, she had only signed around an hour ago, and wondered if her name had been displayed on the list already. "Don't keep your hopes up Shelby," she told herself, "No company is that fast." But nevertheless, her curiosity got the best of her, and she found herself walking towards the roster display.

Her heart was pounding, if her name was on that list, then it was official. She began to feel confined in her light jacket, and elegantly took it off, tying the arms around her waist. She was in dark blue jeans, and a plain white t-shirt. Nothing too special. She spotted a man in a suit staring at the list as well, and decided to have some little chit-chat. "Hello," she nervously said, looking up at the roster, searching for her name, "It's quite the feeling, isn't?" She wasn't looking at the man's face as she chatted, she kept her eyes focused on the roster-listed, but she hadn't found her name yet. "Shelby Steele, Shelby Steele, Shelby Steele..."

"Aw shit. There's my name on the roster. 'Bout damn time they say who's where if you ask me. Been in this city for awhile now. Ain't seen too much activity in this company yet. It's about time though. Good to know they ain't just sitting on their lazy asses and expecting us to find information out for ourselves."

...said a voice not too far behind the two. That voice belonged to one Jin Remmy. Smirk crossing his face as he came walking forward. Dressed in his green t-shirt that's been cut at the sides. Simply reading "Arrive. Raise Hell. Leave." Pretty much summed up Remmy. White jeans with an airbrushed design on the side of his right pant leg. Also spelling out his name "REMMY" in big, white, bold, uppercase letters. And black and white sneakers on his feet. Green bandana wrapped across his forehead under his braids. Remmy looking at the screen himself. He saw his name instantly. It wasn't often you saw someone with a name like Jin or his last name Remmy. He saw it thought. Yup. His name was there. Right between that of Aaron Spencer and Steve Toreno. Nodding his head, he looked to the man in the suit. Raising an eyebrow. Niggas is too formal in this place. Can't just be relax and laid back. Always wearing a suit. Fuggin' people. Look like one of them government agent type niggas. Secret service type of people. Better watch em. Then he turned his attention to the woman. Girl looking pretty fine. She ain't dressed up. That's cool. Probably not uptight like the dude. He addressed them both...

"Whattup? Y'all seeing if yer names is on this or ya already seen it on there?"

[Shelby Danes]

Shelby, assuming it was the person in the black suit, raised an eyebrow, "I wasn't expecting that." she thinks, before going back to this list, "But I guess you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover."

"Actually, I'm looking for mine," she responds, "I was just on my way home from signing a new contract with the company, and I was just curious, I'm not expecting to have my name on the list, but it would be pretty exciting."

"I see. Whatcha name ma'?"

Remmy leaned in closer to look at the list. Quickly running down the names of both rosters. Waiting to hear a response from the woman so he could get to searching for her name. Didn't know that it would be something hard to find, but then again, there was a lot of names on here. Maybe she had something kind of common for a name on here.

"I can probably see if it's on here for ya. They do got a lot of people on here."

[Shelby Danes]

"Shelby Steele," she responds, quite surprised that such a stern looking man would be helpful, "I don't mean to be a burden, if I'm not on the list, I'm not on the list."

(OOC: I'm assuming Jin in behind both of them, so Shelby doesn't know it's Jin who's really talking.)

[Jayceon Williams]

"Shelby Steele? Eh? Let's see."

Looking over both sides of the roster, Mayhem and Lock Up! Stepping a foot closer, he scanned the roster. Speaking to himself as he looked it over.

"We've got a Lauren Steel. Uhh... A Logan Steel. Relatives maybe? Uhh... dadadadadada... Umm... Ah. Here we are. Bottom of the list here."

He stood up straight and pointed to the very bottom of the Lock Up! list.

"There you are. Shelby Steele. Looks like they did get you. Bottom of the list. Must've added you at the last second before they posted it up for everyone to see."

He looked back at Shelby. Seeing what her reaction is.

[Shelby Danes]

Shelby jumped, she wasn't expecting a stranger to pop out of nowhere. "Oh, wow," she replied, turning red, "I'm sorry," she began to laugh to herself, "I thought you were this big guy right next me." She turns towards the silent giant, and forgives herself for confusing the two. She then crossed her arms together, before extending her hand out to both of them, "Well, I'm Shelby Steele, as I previously stated, are you part of the GCW as well?"

[Jayceon Williams]

"It's cool ma'. Guess I should've made it more known that I was here. Oh well. My bad."

Nodding his head, he began to answer her question. Though he thought mentioning it upon his arrival made it obvious he was part of GCW. Meh. Forget about it.

"Yup. I'm on the same boat as you. Lock Up! Jin Remmy's the name. Peep the shirt to know the game."

He laughed to himself as he pointed at the shirt he was wearing. Then he looked back at Shelby. Getting a better look at her now that she was addressing him.

"You said you just recently signed right? How you like what you've seen so far? If you seen anything much, since you just signed."

"I haven't seen too much, but the building sure is daunting. It's been a great while since I've been in such a fancy place." She then took a glance at Jin's shirt and chuckled, "Love the shirt, the saying is just classic." She folded her arms again, she wasn't exactly dressed as stylish as the people around them. She looked pretty plain. Nervously she glanced at the roster once more, and realized they were both on the same program. "Looks like we'll be seeing a lot more of each other throughout the year. Are you nervous? I am a little. I haven't actually wrestled on a television program before."

See more of each other, hmm? He could get to like that. She was pretty attractive. Nice.

"Maybe we will. You never know."

Onto the nervousness she mentioned. He began to shake his head a little bit. Getting a kind of an unsure look on his face. Then he raised his left hand up and shook it a little bit.

"Just a little bit. Did a little challenge type thing for the upcoming show. That's about all I've really done so far. I'm new to the business. First major company I've actually been involved in. Beyond this? I've just been training and did some local shows around St. Louis, Missouri and California. Nothing too big though. I ain't well known but I'm hoping to get that changed.

He shrugged his shoulders. The dream everyone in this business wants to achieve. Superstardom. Hard to reach, but once you do, you'll be set for life.

I think I've done pretty well for myself so far. Fans seemed to like what I did. You ever get in the ring yet? Like the indy circuit or something non-televised?"

[Shelby Danes]

Shelby nodded, gee did she have a history, "I've been around," she didn't want to give an exact year, she didn't want to sound intimidating, plus, she didn't want to exactly reveal her age, it was rather embarrassing. "I've wrestled throughout Canada and the United States for small independent shows." Shelby began to flashback, going through her rookie year as a manger for her brother, and eventually finding herself wrestling an in actual wrestling ring excited her. Going on television was just the next step, "You deserve this Shelby," she thought to herself.

She then brought her attention back towards Jin, "Like you, I'm not super-well known, but I've entertained a crowd enough to get some-kind of pop, at least near the Toronto area." She then got a better look at Jin, glancing from top to bottom. "He must be in his early 20's," she thought.

[Shia Storm]

As Ms. Steele, and Mr. Remmy are having a conversation. The Storms are heading from another direction talking amongst themselves about the draft that just took place, and knowing that they are both on the same show called "Lock Up".

Had to hold my breath on that one ya know. Didn't know if we were on the same brand or not.

Well Angel, its not like we aren't in the same company ya know. If we were on different brands, I'm sure that everything would of been fine. We have had times when we were in different companies at the same time, and we managed. This isn't really that much of a difference. Don't really need to stress over it ya know.

Guess you are correct on that, but still, doesn't hurt to be on the same show or brand with your husband even though we are usually doing our own thing when it comes to ring time. Its like, love you, and see you after the show ya know.

Very true. You aren't the most likable person around ring time. You are on just "go time", and all on your own at that point unless you know, someone tries to attack you from behind by more then one person. That's when things will break down, and i will come out for things like that.

Yeah. Kind of known that, but anyways. Now everything is set in all, and we can just focus on being part of the higher card on this brand.

They continue on their way, and they are like right in front of the people are conversating.

Nodding his head. Another person who's been around Canada. Guess the business gets out there a lot up in Canada. He knew Japan had their thing. Mexico had a whole different set up. Didn't expect Canada to have such a great abundance of talent. That's the learning experience of being in this business, I suppose.

"Nice, nice. Just did a few shows myself. Five to be exact. Not really a large amount of experience in the ring, but I've done plenty of training. Figured I'd try to go for the big time early. Don't know if it's a dumb move or not to be rushing professionally but eh... if ya can do... Why not try? Right? Hopefully this year in GCW, things'll change for us in the future."

That smirk on his face grew. Trying to picture the crowd getting excited. The roar of their cheers. Nice, shiny belt resting across his waist. Thousands upon thousands of fans screaming his name. Yeah. That would be nice.

"I can hardly wait. Got big plans. Make a name for myself and establish myself as a force to be reckoned with. Ya know?"

Shelby nods in approval, "Maybe 2008 will be our shining year Jin." As she pauses, she notices two dark-looking people standing in-front of them. She grows excited, "I think I've seen that tall woman before in some kind of wrestling magazine," she observes, whispering to Jin, "I can't remember her name though, it's something Storm, any idea?"
