A Cafe Outing (O2A)

She laughs after she looks Shelby’s finger up and down.

That’s awesome. Trick them into being polite while they’re young. I have to say your family sounds pretty cool. You might not get that because you’re too deep in it, but it all sounds pretty nice.

Are any of them or your friends out here or is it just you?

[Shelby Danes]

Shelby shakes her head, "No, no, all my family are in Canada, keeping to their roots. When I'm all old, and out of shape, I might move back up to Canada as well," she gives Drew a smile, "However, I do have a friend coming up to the GCW," she adds, "Her 'stage-name' is The Boston Star, except she uses an asterisk instead of the word. She's just weird like that. She's a riot, but when she's in front of a camera, her whole persona changes, you love to hate her."

[Jennifer Drew]

Boston Star, huh? I don't think I've seen her before, but she sounds like fun. Guess we can all hang out when the time comes, you, her, me, Andrew, Kelly if she’s game, and anyone else around here who doesn’t want to kill me. It’ll be great.

[Shelby Danes]

Shelby laughed, "Doesn't want to kill you, eh?" She took another sip of her water, "Oh, you'll love Boston, she's the nicest person you'll ever know...outside the ring. You couldn't tell with her in-ring performances, that's for sure. Her real name is Lorelai Gilmore, but she prefers to be called 'Boston,' it's 'easier to say' she says. That, and she hates to be confused with the character from the Gilmore Girls." She laughed to herself, "I'm sure you, Andrew, Kelly, Boston and me will have a fine time together this year. I'm already liking this place."

Jake was seen sitting on a stool on the other side of the cafe, he had a coffee in one hand and some biscuits in the other, he took his biscuits and dipped them in his coffee. Damn these are some nice biscuits.

Jake looked around the cafe to see if he could spot anyone he would know, he turned around and spotted one of his old friends Shelby. Jake quickly finishes his biscuits and his coffee and gets up off the stool, he makes his way over to where Shelby was sitting and taps her on the shoulder.

Hey Shelby long time no see how have you been?

[Shelby Danes]

Shelby turned around, and nearly jumped in excitement, she hadn't seen Jake in years. "Well, if isn't Jake Williams," she says with a tone before getting up, and giving him a light hug, "Jennifer, this is Jake Williams, we've constantly bumped into eachother at indie shows, and eventually, we decided to formally introduce ourselves one night. We've been good friends ever since. And Jake, this is Jennifer Drew, a new friend I just happened to meet."

Yes it's good to see you to Shelby. Jake gives Shelby a hug, so what have you been up to lately? Jake looks at Jennifer and shakes her hand, Nice to meet you to. So Ladies may i ask what brings you two down here?

Jake takes a seat on the stool next to Shelby and waits for Jennifer to talk.

[Jennifer Drew]

See, you do know someone else here, Shelby.

She shoots the newcomer a smile.

Nice to meet you too, Jake. And as for what brings me here, well nothing in particular. I just thought I’d come down and hang out for a while. But it seems like I’m doing a pretty good job of running into new people. And yourself?

[jake]

Well I came down here to improve on my wrestling skills and hopefully get better, and I'm pretty good. So may I ask how long have you been wrestling for? I've been at it for 5 years maybe but can't exactly remember.

[Jennifer Drew]

Same as you, but through no small miracle I actually remember most of it. Guess I’m just lucky that way. So, you’ve been at it for roughly five years that’s cool. How long ago did you meet?

[Shelby Danes]

Shelby put herself into the conversation, "Oh, maybe around two or three years, I can't exactly remember at the moment. We meet up occasionally for a little chat every now and then, I'm surprised that he decided to join the GCW, I wasn't even aware." She gives Jake a silly face before continuing, "Wait, you are joining the GCW right?"

[jake]

Yep that is correct I'm joining GCW I'm going to see how good I will be so that's why i came here. I'm just hoping that I cam improve my wrestling skills a lot more, and become a lot better even though I've been wrestling for 5 years.

[Jack McArthur]

" What do you mean you have no Fosters! "

There attention were brought to the man standing in front of the bar, complaining at the barkeep. He wore a black and red striped bandanna, a rose tattoo shirt, jeans, and boots.

" I'm sorry sir, but we don't serve your kind of alchol. "

Jack slammed his fist onto the bar.

" Dammit. Your lucky l come prepare. "

Jack pulled out a can of Fosters from his pocket. His finger dug under the clip, and pulled it to him, to open his drink. He brought the can to his lips, the refreshing liquid ran down his throat. Truly, Fosters were a drink from the gods. He made his way through the cafe, looking for a nice table to sit down. This cafe was packed, like China town down in Sydney. All the chairs were taking'. Jack noticed a free chair, next to a shelia with pink hair. Opposite her was another shelia, and next to her was a guy. Jack walked up to them.

" Ahh excuse me Shelias, Mate. Can l sit down here? This places is packed full. "

Jack waited for an answer.

[Jennifer Drew]

She’d been following him with her eyes since the disturbance and she was even more shocked when he asked to sit down and join them.

Well, normally I’d charge you one of those comically oversized beers, but it’s still a little early for me.

So you’ll have to owe me. Come join us… uh, super enthusiastic Australian beer-drinker?

She shrugs and looks confused hoping the new guy will provide a better, more real name than that. All the while she prayed she didn’t screw up and have it turn out he’s from New Zealand, it would be awkward at best.

"This guy must be some sort of drunk," Shelby thought annoyingly as Jennifer allowed him to sit with the crew. She wasn't much of a drinker, and his rash attitude struck the wrong chord. Nevertheless, she put on a polite smile. "Hello, I'm Shelby Steele," she said, introducing herself, and extending her hand.
