Fake?

After trying Miss Wallace's office and having no luck getting into to see her about it, Logan knocks on the office door of Candice Angel. Figuring he would try his luck in trying to see the other CEO of GCW, in his hand a piece of paper with a print out of an email he had received following his suspension. Logan had picked this one of the many emails he had received as it appeared to be a GCW email address with the name "The Truthful One" of all the strange emails he had received this was the only that concerned him greatly.

"Why am I even bothering around here I am already condemned man, I doubt that she will believe me!"

Logan had already knocked but was so sure that Miss Angel wouldn't even see him that he turned around and began to walk away...

$-It seemed they never stopped coming hm? Quickly standing from her office chair, Candice made her way towards the door hearing the small knock on her office door. Smoothing the wrinkles out of her skirt, she opened it to reveal...-$

$-...No one?-$

$-Stepping outside of the office, she immediately glances in both directions, the second allowing for her sights to fall on one Mr. Logan Steel. Poor thing. *sigh* Folding her arms across her chest she called out to him hoping to catch his attention before his departure...-$

"Mr. Steel? Is there something I can help you with...?"

Logan hears Miss Angel and quickly turns around, and walks toward her.

"Ah Miss Angel yes there is, I received this email that casts doubt over my failed test. I know before you say it yes I have been getting a lot of bogus emails some saying some nasty things about me and my wife others saying that they believe me and this one saying that they know I didn't take any drugs and the results slip given to you guys was a fake."

Logan hands the print out of the email to Miss Angel and says

"Look it even has a GCW email address, the Truthful One? I don't know how hard they are to get since I don't have one?"

Logan looks as Miss Angel looks at the piece of paper and he hopes that this may clear him...

$-A look of shock instantly came over Candice's face as she received the document from Mr. Steel. Her eyes remained locked with his for a few moments before glancing down to read the document itself. After a few moments passed, she bit her bottom lip slightly, trying to decipher the severity of this situation and whether or not this could in fact be a legitimate reason to consider...Reinstatement?-$

"This is...Wow, I don't know what to say Mr. Steel. Yes this COULD in fact be a genuine document I guess but...I have to ask you what would someone or anyone for that matter, stand to gain from "framing" you for illegal substance abuse?"

"And also, if that's the case with your tests coming back positive, who would send you this email and how in the world could they even know what was going on? I'm sure you don't have that many enemies here in Chicago and GCW already?"

"Maybe not in Chicago, I don't know I really do have a lot of enemies and who knows it could be because I am associated with Angel Fyre. I know for a fact that I didn't take anything myself, the only person in the position to spike my drinks or food would be my wife, and it's not much of a marriage if I thought she would do such a thing now is it?"

Logan looks at Candice who is still trying to think about the situation

"Maybe it's not grounds for reinstatement but at least grounds for me to have another test performed, please Miss Angel wrestling is my life my first love besides Lauren. I've been going to the gym to try and avoid the situation but training kind of sucks when there are no goals to work for! I saw what happened to my wife on MayheM she was taunted by the people in Chicago and some of the emails and phone calls I have received have threatened her safety. That's why I am here and she is with the only person I even remotely trust right now!"

Logan now looks Candice right in the eye

"I will do anything to ensure the safety of my wife, please understand I mean anything!"

Logan calmed down as he noticed he was getting aggressive with Candice.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to get aggressive with you, this whole situation has put me under a great strain!"

Logan backs away from Candice giving her some space as he waits for her to say something...

$-Candice thought long and hard about what Mr. Steel was saying to her. Perhaps it was possible for someone to have...Sabotaged his tests or switched samples maybe?-$

$-Her eyes slowly dart from the document still in hand and Mr. Steel's eyes. He seemed to be genuine in his words. And it would be quite strange if someone continued to insist they were innocent even after the fact of their received punishment so to speak. She slowly leaned against the doorway, her eyes never leaving his as she spoke...-$

"Well Mr. Steel...I...I'm at a loss of words honestly. This is quite the situation we have here I'm afraid."

"Of course...I gather a re-test shouldn't be that big of a deal given all you that you stand to lose with it all. I mean once you're labeled a "cheater" in any sport, it sticks with you forever. So...If...Your name can possibly be cleared with the administering of a new test? I myself see no reason why that can't be done as soon as possible. But of course I need to discuss this with Amanda to ensure she agrees with my thoughts. I'm quite sure she will though Mr. Steel. Other than that? That's about the extent of help I can really give you right now. I hope it's enough?"

Logan looks at Candice and he believes that she will do everything in her power to help him and he extends his hand out with a great expression of sincerity in his face

"Thank you Miss Angel, I am glad you took the time to listen to me..."

$-She slowly extended her hand to Mr. Steel, a brief handshake ensuing before she responded...-$

"No thank you Mr. Steel for bringing this information to our attention. I hope that things work out in your favor I must say. I'll keep you posted on how things develop?"
