The Moveset Regulations will be set in place to accomplish two goals.
We look to enforce the targeting of other body parts, as well as slightly limiting damage for more realistic, less damage spamming movesets. Without further adieu, here are the categories we will be enforcing and their parameters.
Any offenders to the Moveset Regulations WILL have to fix their moveset, or they will not wrestle until it is done. A staffer can assist you in helping to pick a legitimate move for your characters fighting style. Should you be in possession of a championship, you will have until the end of the month until you are stripped of the championship.
- To ensure fairness in matches.
- To eliminate any incidence of a CAW having a "Hunter's" moveset (a moveset that targets primarily one body part.)
We look to enforce the targeting of other body parts, as well as slightly limiting damage for more realistic, less damage spamming movesets. Without further adieu, here are the categories we will be enforcing and their parameters.
- Standing Grapples. Fighting Styles 1 & 2 You must split damage evenly between moves in each category. No one category should hunt a single body part. Such formats can be used as two head moves, two body moves, two body, 1 head, 1 limb, 2 head, 1 body, 1 limb and so on and so forth. Two moves do the most damage to one body part total. Please try to keep damage totals similar too. IE: Head total damage: 45 / Body/rest: 21 total damage is bad. Please try to keep the numbers similar.
-Also, damage control. One move in each category must equal 12 damage or less. There are plenty of moves in here that can allow it to look realistic without giving you a watered down/weak look, such as Scoop Slams.
-Submissions: 1 SS Submission move per category please. This is done to limit Submission artists healing abilities.
-Back Grapples: Same deal as the fighting styles. Please follow damage distribution/ body part targeting/ and submission rules. - Ground Grapples: You must have at least 1 move attack a different body part on both sides of the body. No all head moves on the upper body part, all body moves on the lower, for example. Segregate them. Reason being? A lot of times, only one body part is attacked for most of the match, giving off a Hunter's impression.
-1 SS submission move for both sides of the body, to limit Submission artists healing themselves during the match. - Dash Grapples: One move out of Front and Back Dash Grapples must attack a different body part. Only one out of all four moves.
- Finishers: Please follow the rules for Dual Uber (18 + total damage) and Finisher Uniqueness rules. A legitimate storyline pitch and a non-uber finisher will allow for finisher sharing. Only one move may have a total damage of 18 or greater in your finishers.
- Dirty / Showman Fighting Styles: These will not be used as primary fighting styles due to the obscene power of their primary abilities: the stolen finishers and super dirty moves. This also prevents the use of the Dirty / Showman fighting style combination. Please keep this in mind when creating movesets.
