["The Soldier" Carson Freedom]

As soon as Twilight had come back from commercial break Carson Freedom stood in the center of the ring with a microphone in hand. In the background his theme music began to die down. He lifted the microphone to his lips and began to speak.

I know everyone here saw what happened last week at LockUp! You all saw that I was so close to being in the final contendership match for the GCW World Championship. I had Haven right where I wanted him and hit him with my neckbreaker finisher. Then out of nowhere William James attacks me from behind and picks up the cheap win. Now I listened to what James had to say earlier when he had stated that he went after me cause of our first match in the GCW. Damn man, you couldn’t just let it go and admit defeat could you? You had to go and get a cheap shot on me and pin me so that I was eliminated. No man it wasn’t cause of our debut match, it was cause you know you can’t beat me one on one. You already know what I did to you back when we first started so you took your opportunity and took a cheap shot so that you can go on and wrestle Haven. Well good job James. You only showed to me that you are a coward and always will be man. You couldn’t just man up and face me one on one. But hey that’s you and you got your shot at the World title. Good for you man.

Carson lowers the microphone for a moment. That was only one thing that was on his mind. There was something else that he wanted to get off his chest and it would be better to get it off now rather than let it sit and begin to bother him.

But I do have something on my mind that does bother me. So back in the first match I had pinned the former World champion Jon Pryor. Right after that he got a shot at the World title. So now that I was eliminated what do I get? Do I get the shaft but when Jon loses he gets a title shot? You see there are some things that just happen and you can’t change and that’s one of them. It’s just one of those things that I have to put behind me and just move on which leads me to the reason that I am out here right now. It’s Twilight and I don’t have a match tonight. So who’s it gonna be? Who’s gonna accept the challenge from the soldier?

[Joe Bruiser]

Eye of the tiger hits over the arena and the fans go nuts as one of the crowd favorites who has not been seen for a few weeks has returned to GCW. It takes about a minute before the lights begin to blink and Joe walks out onto the stage in front of a standing ovation. He holds his arms out and stares up at the ceiling as the fans chant *JOE JOE JOE* Joe smiles and nods his head as he now begins to make his way down the ramp. Personal problems have gave Joe a setback that he didn't need. He now is back to wearing his favorite red and blue boxer shorts and his favorite red with a blue stripe down the side muscle shirt. Joe is also wearing his favorite Sunglasses. Joe is now at the ring and stops and stares at Carson. Joe smiles as he turns to look at the crowd. He walks up the steel steps and then slowly gets into the ring. He walks slowly by Carson and receives a Mic and just stares at the crowd who are still chanting *JOE JOE JOE* Joe looks around and begins to speak.

Joe is having a hard time finding his words.

[glow=blue,2,300]It has not been a secret of where I have been.[/glow]

Someone from the silent crowd screams, "WE LOVE YOU JOE." Joe looks over and speaks again.

[glow=blue,2,300]It is all over the internet as well as the newspapers. I have had some personal issues the past few weeks. Depression mostly, but that led to other stuff as well. At this moment in time I don't even know if I am mentally able to compete. I know I am physically able, but mentally? That is another story. The psychiatrist that I have been seeing, told me to take a few months off to clear my head. I said, A few months? ARE YOU MAD?[/glow]

Crowd cheers.

[glow=blue,2,300]He then said, "Joe, you are not in a mental state of mind right now. You are in your own little world at this time." Am I now? He said yes...but then he said that sometimes doing what you love to do most can help cure you. Well, THATS WHY I AM HERE BABY.[/glow]

Fans cheer loudly.

[glow=blue,2,300]But life goes on...[/glow]

Joe then slowly turns to face Carson.

[glow=blue,2,300]Isn't that right Carson Freedom? Life goes on...[/glow]

Joe pauses.

[glow=blue,2,300]You learn to let things go, well... most things anyways. I get the...[/glow]

Joe begins to pace and get into it a little bit more.

[glow=blue,2,300]seance that you are trying to get a few more things off of your mind Carson? We use to be friends dude, but last time I remember things were not good between us. So that brings me to my SECOND reason for coming out here. You called for someone, and that someone has showed. I am ready...[/glow]

Joe lowers the Mic and waits for a response from Carson.

Carson lifts the microphone to his lips.

Hold on one second there Joe. I don’t believe I know what you’re talking about when you stated that things didn’t end off so good between us. I mean the last time I’ve spoken to you was in the handicap match and from what I remember is that we were on the same page and we almost pulled out a victory that night. So I don’t know if you got a problem with me, but I know that I don’t have a problem with you man. About your personal issues and depression, I know how you feel. About four years ago when my parents and my sister were murdered I went into a severe depression state. But with a lot of help and time, I healed and now I am having a pretty solid wrestling career.

Carson lowers the microphone for a moment as the fans begin to cheer. He nods his head being thankful. He then brings the microphone back up to his lips.

Now you came down here and accepted the match. So let’s make it official and do this thing man. I consider you a top dog in any business that you are in and it will be an honor to face you here tonight.
