Amanda hadn't slept much... after she had left Candice, while still slightly intoxicated, she spent most of the night rummaging through Google for retail services, business rentals, tower spaces, you name it, Amanda was after it. She found a few promising locations to house the base of operations for her's and Candice's upcoming company, but first, they really needed some help. Which is why the two were in the hotel room of Candice Angel at the moment, Amanda's eyes transfixed on the phone.
"Do you have your first victim picked out?"
She was excited, she really wanted to see how well they could get t his rolling... |

$-Staring at the address book in her lap she only nodded her head hearing Amanda's inquiry. Indeed she had the first picked out. At least the first she wanted to get in contact with. One of the few she thought could help them out on their newest venture would prove to be a bit more difficult she was sure. But there was no turning back now she thought.-$
"Yea. *Sigh* I wouldn't say "victim" but...She could definitely help us with starting this thing up I'm sure. She'd make quite the authority figure as well I do believe. In the off chance she's even moderately interested? I'd pray heavily for the roster. You can "BANK" on that. Here goes."
$-Taking up the phone into her hands, she slowly dials the corresponding numbers of the woman in question. Seconds later a slight cough escapes her lips before switching the phone to her opposite hand, winking an eye towards Amanda as she awaited the first of their recruits to answer their call.-$ |

Good Morning. This is Miss Silvia Banks speaking... How may I help you today?She pays no mind to her cell phone's caller ID before flipping it open and answering the call. It was already a busy morning for her... especially as she tried her darnedest to get in touch with a certain sargeant whom she was told was appointed to run the Compound while the boys came up here to play...  She wasn't any better though... since she was here as well.  No matter though... all she wanted was to make sure the individuals she's been partly instrumental in fine-tuning into up-and-coming stars were being taken care of...

The voice sounds rather familiar... but she couldn't visualize the face of said person at the moment... LONG morning... Umm... it's nice to hear from you as well. Busy? I am... but thank the mighty fashion gods that I've mastered the concept of time management, dear...She tries to be as friendly as she could... perhaps the voice would stumble upon any nuance that would give Silvia some sort of clue as to who she was exactly speaking with...Since it's been such a long time... to what do I owe the pleasure? You should really keep in touch, you know...Who was she kidding? Good thing she's quite the good liar when situations such as these come about...

Venture? Ten months ago? She reached for her LV-embroided schedule book... (Louis Vuitton, honey *finger snap*) and begins ruffling through it... searching for the appointments she had back then... before things turned even more awkward...
...
Most of the appointments she skimmed through were with designers and prominent indy wrestlers she had began recruiting for the Compound... but one circled... or in this case "halo-ed" appointment had caught her attention instantly...

Umm... Candice? You do know that I'm probably a few yards from the Tower, right? And please don't tell me that you are going to stay cooped up in that office of yours... You should meet me here, in the Familia's locker room, since it seems we have MUCH to discuss...She wonders what Candice has in mind with this business endeavor she speaks of... until she remembers Candice's team being smited by her unattractive and unappealing, to the fashion eye, sister...I'm sorry about the whole power struggle ordeal you had to go through as well... but that's no need to keep yourself locked in that office of yours. Actually, I hear that there's a mega blow-out sale at Dillards' this week. Come with?

$-Her eyes quickly widen, her posture instantly returning to a complete upright sitting position as her words are seemingly filled with excitement...-$
"Blow out sale? Dilliards? You...Can NOT...Be serious! I was JUST there a few days ago and I saw this MAGNIFICENT pair of..."
$-A sudden pause in her words as she saw the demeanor on Amanda's face a few feet away. Apparently she didn't believe such dialog was warranted during this time. Realizing that she MAY...May in fact be correct in those assumptions, she clears her throat before settling herself down as much as she could, and replying into the phone once more...-$
"Um, perhaps another time Silvia? But ah...*Ahem* Back to the matter at hand shall we? Actually I'm not currently IN Toronto at the moment seeing as how...Well...I no longer am a part of APW anymore. That chapter of my life is closed I'm sure, and I have nothing but the future years to come set in my sights. But thank you for the kind words I must say. I'm sure I'll be just fine once things get rolling with this newest venture I speak of."

It's a fabulous thing girl, that's all.-$ "Oh no Silvia, oh no...*Giggles* It's not what you think. Though I wouldn't mind...No...My partner and I are currently in the process of starting up...A new wrestling promotion and...Well...When the discussion of additional staff needed to run the place efficiently came about, there were only a few names that came to mind personally. Yours was of course at the very top of that list. |

Amanda Wallace? The owner of Toronto's "sister" promotion? I've heard of her, yes... yet never had the opportunity to speak with her, even though we were in the same city during my small tenure in New York. Her company went out of business, right? Detroit, I believe? What a shame...
Yet both of you wish to start over, from the very bottom and create a multi-million dollar venture that surpasses all that was and is? You have my complete and undivided attention, Miss Candi...
