~Static as the camera tunes in on Lessien's
unique
frequency. The lines of sweat still stain her face from Lock-Up! Her sunglasses lie off scene on top of her ever so famous coat. Alice finds a breath between it all.~
"You are now free to move about the cabin."
~The eyes find the screen.~
"In other words, Crymson."
~Betty laughed under the second breath taken.~
"We have now reached an altitude of of 40,000 feet and all the world is my stage."
"Breath for me."
~Alice almost begged.~
"It's the only way I can choke it all out of you in the end."
~A cold grin of revelations. Alice touched the point between there eyes.~
"Visions of me dance in your head."
"Listen to the Oracle of the Fucking North! It's your last chance."
~Betty paused before finding the camera again.~
"I bet you feel pretty good about yourself, right now. Hmm? Something about the strength of young girls and the momentum locked between their thighs. Driving them forward from forgotten years to the ultimate prize ..."
"She cried for more."
"But the funny thing was, she really couldn't take it."
"Don't stop!"
"When her soul desired just that."
~A zip of the Zippo and the soft orange flame illuminated her face for a moment until the ember found its glow.~
"I really should thank you, Lover. It's not every day I find someone who plays their part so well. All these pretty, young and energetic girls around us. You put in the
all
night
long and plucked them from the fold."
~The first glimpse of the Cheshire made its precence felt.~
"You are absolutely correct, Crymson. My best years are behind me. Thirty nine years on the Planet Road have taken their toll. But"
~The smoke escaped the lips.~
"That really doesn't matter when I have inbred labor taking care of all the heavy lifting. Hmm?"
"How do you feel?"
"Like a million miles are in front of me, Lover."
"You scatter in a million pieces to hell."
~The Cheshire grew.~
"I really couldn't have done it with out you. I couldn't have written it better myself. Or did I do just that?"
~A rhetorical question that was soon to be followed by
cold
hard
fact.~
"These are the end of days, Crymson, and you say your career is not on the line? Hm, I wish I had the ability to lie to myself as loosely and as frequently as you do. This is the last moment. This is summit of your climb and all the effort ... and all the pain ... and the burning muscles as you pull yourself up ... your comeback ... your moment."
~Betty did her best to contain the nausea. Alice choked on it.~
"All the days did end."
"And all the while we've been up here waiting for you.
We never leave."
~Ash hit the floor silently.~
"The winner of this will write the history ... and the history will go like this. 'Lessien Melwasul was the best and never anything else. Crymson was a shell that faded pathetically from the world."
"You said it yourself, Crymson. I just can't stand to be under it. I would rather end it all in a dramatic blaze than live or take a single fucking step in the life you call glorious."
"My hell."
~The cigarette fell from fingertips and scattered to the backstage concrete.~
"Are you ready?"
"I'm just a girl."
"Tell Starr I'll be home late tonight. Now off with her fucking head!"
"Now close your eyes and rest."
"You'll need it more than I will for
what
comes
next."
~Alice releases her gaze as the camera's frequency shifts away from Lessien's range.~
