Preparing for the big match (o2a)

["The Soldier" Carson Freedom]

It was Mayhem and Carson was backstage in his locker room. He had heard about the race for the GCW World Heavyweight Championship and also heard how he was selected as one of the four contenders for the title. This was his chance to claim the top major title in the business. He had been top champion before but that was in a little farm league which was nothing compared to GCW’s caliber. This is why he would have to work that much harder. It was stated that it would start with a fatal four way match up where the contender that is pinned will be eliminated. Then at TapOut! there would be a triple threat match where once again the contender that is pinned will be eliminated. After that there would be a singles match to determine who would go onto challenge the champion at Twilight. Carson knew this was a big opportunity for himself and he would give his all in every match. Times like this one right now don’t typically happen often so he had to take what he could get. So there he was in his locker room taping his wrists getting prepared for the main event match. As he was doing so someone had walked into his locker room.

Hey…

[Misty]

Hello Honey...

Misty said walking in with a smile on her face...

Hope you don't mind my barging in here. I just had to see you in the worst way.

It was Misty that had entered Carson’s locker room. He wasn’t really expecting anyone to show up but he most certainly wasn’t mad that Misty had shown up. It was actually good that she had shown up because he was getting a little stressed before the important match. He responded to her.

Hey Misty, of course I don’t mind you barging in right about now. It was a good first match as with you as my manager. I can already feel that you are making me that much better. So, what’s going on?

[Misty]

Well honey, I've just been so thrilled with your victory it got me thinking that if we keep this whole streak going I might be able to convince the boss to toss a tile shot your way.

She said said pointing at his waist in an inappropriately low fashion. Misty then sat down, and looked up at Carson.

Oh gee... I hope I didn't get you sweating over this before a match... That would be such a waste of energy.

It's just I'm so excited! I've been seein' big things from you honey!

Well as of right now Misty, I do have a chance at the world championship and that starts tonight. I wish you could be ringside with me but the match that I’m involved will not allow it. It just sucks because I feel more confident when you are around. I mean its only been one match but I felt a lot more confident in my abilities in that match and that’s how I beat Johnny. I’m sure you’ll be back here watching the match though cheering.

Carson then pats down on the bench beside him.

Why don’t you come sit down for a bit?

[Misty]

Well I will definitely be here cheering you on. But in the mean time honey is there anything I could do to help get you warmed up? I am a master of restoring a man's confidence.

She said patting him on the back softly. And scooting closer.

Honey I'm sure that belt is as good as yours. I can feel it.

Misty finished pointing at his waist again.

Carson looked down to where she had pointed and looked back at her. He smiled before speaking out.

I mean it would be a good idea to get a little warmed up before the match tonight. It would only help right? Why won’t we start with a little massage? I mean my shoulders are feeling a little sore from last week. Don’t worry, I’ll return the favor.

[Misty]

OK then Honey.

Misty then stands up, and walks behind Carson. She starts to massage his shoulders, and hums A Guy What Takes His Time while doing so. Moving a little lower she says.

Honey, I'll have you fighting fit in no time, and save your hands dearie you might need em' later.... Oh honey... You got something right here below yer shoulder... You better lay down.

She said stepping back and waiting for Carson's response.

[Haven]

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Having made his declaration to find the other two absent Titans he called out a while ago, Haven knocks on Freedom's door hard enough to catch the dead's attention.

Deciding enough of his time was wasted, Haven enters into the locker room without Freedom's permission. After all, who was Freedom to keep Haven waiting?

"Heh...Am I interupting something here?"

"You have some gall, Freedom. Nobody keeps Haven waiting Soldier Boy. Or maybe you were too busy being felt up by this bimbo here to realize that Haven called you and the other Titans in my match out to the ring?"

[Misty]

Bimbo! Who do you think you are talkin' to? I'm a star honey. And where's your manners? Yer mother should of threw you out and kept the stork.

Misty said getting right into Haven's face... Her 5'5 height looking rather comical compared to his.

Carson will deal with a nobody like you when he's good and ready. So flap yer heels Havin...Or Hebbin... Heaven... Whatever your name is. Before one of mine knocks you in the throat.

[Haven]

Eyebrows raised as he looks down at Misty, Haven cracks a smile, and then...

"HA!......HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Is this how it works for you, Freedom? You have a girl fighting your battles for you?"

Turning his attention back towards Misty, Haven says...

"Look here sweetheart, I'm sure you take your job as Freedom's masseuse seriously, but do yourself a favor, and stay out of grown men's business. Got it?"

Carson gets up from his seat on the bench and makes his way over to Haven.

Well well look who it is. It’s the man who failed twice at trying to capture the Mid-Atlantic title. Now you get a shot at the World title. Hmm, how much kissing up did you have to do for that. Before I say anything more, don’t be talking to Misty like that. You got a problem with me then you take it up with me. I know you’re a little cranky because no one came down to the ring when you called them out, but it don’t mean that you can come barging in. I’m sorry you don’t have anyone giving you a pre-match massage. You may be a little jealous but it’ll be alright man. Now if you’ll excuse me Haven, I’ve got business to take care of before our match tonight. You can see yourself to the door.

[Misty]

Misty took a quick peek at Haven's waist, and responded
with a giggle...

A man... Honey from what I'm seeing the only thing you have below the waist is clay feet.

She turned and with her hand on her hip, and walked... No! Sashayed out of the room. Winking at Carson when she left.

[Haven]

Hearing Freedom's words, and then trying hard to ignore Misty, Haven responds with...

"Whatever, Freedom. You just make sure to bring your "A" game tonight, because, trust me kid, you'll need it."

With that, Haven makes his way out.

Oh, don’t you worry about a thing Haven.

Carson stated this as Haven walked out the door. People busting into Carson’s locker room didn’t make him too happy but he wasn’t going to let it bother him. Haven was in the match so he’ll get what’s coming. Carson shut his locker room door and sat back down on the bench. He put on his skull t-shirt and looked across the room into the mirror. Was he ready for the match tonight? Yeah, he was ready. He couldn’t be more ready for the match. Jon Pryor was the only person that Carson was a little worried about. He was a former champion and has been in this kind of situation before. William James didn’t bother Carson at all. He already defeated him in his debut match and also the tag team match. He knew how he wrestled so it wouldn’t be a problem at all. Haven wasn’t someone Carson worried about either. With him barging in his locker room, Carson was ready to take the man down. He stood up from the seat on the bench and made his way to the door.
