Even Victor Wayne had no idea who he'd be teaming with at Ascension, but even the newly self-styled outcast was happy to see a familiar face walk down the ramp and join him in the ring. Of course his returning and netting the win offered more questions than answers. He knew that it was time for them to talk about stuff. And things. And business.

Of course conveniently there was a camera rolling in the locker room for them to have said discussion.

I just couldn't believe the rush I got once I bursted through the curtain and heard the roar of the crowd again. It was awesome.

The camera catches up to them in mid-conversation as Showtime speaks.

It was great knowing that my debut here was going to be with an old friend in my corner. Felt just like old times again. If only Mafia were around...

He takes a moment as he thinks back to the "good ole days" and the good times the three shared both in and out of the ring. A smile creeps up in the corner of his mouth before he turns his attention back to Victor.

So, what have you got planned for yourself here in GCW?

Please, I gave up planning these things years ago. Trust me, it makes everything that much more

surprising.

After a quick dramatic flourish he turns back to the conversation at hand.

But, I think we both know there are only so many things that could possibly be on our minds now that we're here. And I think that's what brings us here.

What is this? A surprise, an attraction, a curiosity or is it something bigger?

I would say a mixture of all of those. Considering how long I have been gone, I'm sure many were surprised to see me show up. Then there is the attraction portion that goes along with being from VWE. I'm more focused on seeing what I can do in GCW though to make a name for myself rather than reveling in past accomplishments. I guess that's where the curiousity part comes in.

He takes a few moments to pause as he adjusts his clothing, picking off a lone piece of lint before continuing.

As for much something bigger? There are definitely much bigger things. Out of all the things I have done in this business, there are two I have not. That's becoming a Tag Team Champion.........and a World Champion.

He sits on the bench he was standing beside while talking to Victor, putting the words together in his mind to further explain himself.

I've definitely had my chances to do both. But, in the end I was never able to seal the deal and win. Before I retire, I just want one reign with both. It's not so I can brag that I did this or I did that. I've done enough already. What I do want is to be able to look at myself in the mirror after I retire and tell myself "You did it. You accomplished your dream. You were the best in the World." Nobody wants to see all the countless hours of hardwork and dedication they put into chasing their dream leave them empty-handed.

A small silence falls on the room before it is broken once more by the voice of Bryan Daniels.

So......what do you think about the two of us teaming up? We never really got to team up much except when it was three on three. I think we worked pretty well together at Ascension. The tag team division seems like it could use some livining up. Unless you got your sites set on something else at the moment?

Like we can't do it all at once.

Come on, look at who we're dealing with out there. You can't walk a foot without tripping over a “rising star” or a shoo in for the belt or even the odd number one contender in the tag division. It's just good business. For one of us at least.

He lets a quick laugh out.

Yes, I think we've got something here.

Until the whole experiment blows up in our faces and we're reduced to smashing each others' heads into whatever we decide is the most unyielding structure around ringside because it's just how these things end.

He said half somber half sarcastic given that there was every chance he was right.

Not that I think we'll ever reach that point.

He smiles and offers a handshake.

He looks down at Victor's extended hand for a few moments, then back up as a smirk forms in the corner of his mouth. He shakes his hand firmly, sealing the deal on their newly reformed alliance.

Partners indeed.

He propped his hand on his hip after letting go of the handshake.

The only question is, who do we take on next to show we are a true threat to the tag team division? I mean, I've been here all of a week and the only tag teams I know besides us are Whiplash Force, the current champs, and those twin sisters. Anybody else I'm missing?

Well that's two. Don't think that'll be happening with those Xavieras. Unless we can book Uni-Man for the show after party. Then just let your imagination run wild.

Ahem.

So other than them no one, that we know of...

But that's just it. All we have to do is wait to find out. I mean everyone's watching this. Right now as we're talking. I'm sure some roving band of opportunists who are stealing our idea is going to have something to say very soon.

He said, looking directly into the camera.

If Victor's blatantly obvious challenge to any team that JUST MIGHT BE FORMING UP like they currently were wasn't obvious enough, Showtime too stared into the camera to add some input.

That's right Victor! Everyone IS watching! People all around the world and even fellow GCW Titans and tag teams! IF ONLY there were a team just like us looking for a match on LockUp! We could all begin our journey towards a Tag Team title shot! IF there is another team out there that could be forming up right this moment! Yes! THIS.....VERY.....MOMENT! If only they would walk through that door...

He points to their locker room door, the camera shifting over to show it momentarily before returning to the two of them, both still staring directly into the camera.

....and interrupt this conversation between us and challenge Victor Wayne and Bryan Daniels to a tag team matchup! IF ONLY there were a team who would do that.

Both men continue standing in place, staring at the camera, waiting on the interruption from another tag team.
