["Mr. Showtime" Bryan Daniels]

Mayhem comes back from a commercial break with the camera panning the crowd as they wait in anticipation of what will happen next on tonight's show.

In The Air Tonight begins blaring throughout the arena. The audience rises to their feet with cheers as the newest member to the GCW roster makes his way out onto the stage. He pauses at the top of the rampway, looking to both sides of the arena with a smile on his face that seemed to stretch from one ear to the other, signature shades on as always. He makes his way down the ramp, slapping the hands of those lucky enough to have seats by the rampway and the ring steps before entering the ring. He climbs to the middle rope and raises both arms in the air, pointing to signs in the audience dawning his name and catchphrases before making his way to the opposite side of the ring and doing the same. He requests a mic, receiving one quickly from a ringside assisstant. He centers himself in the ring, looking around at the audience as his music and cheers die down. Slowly, he raises the mic to his lips, pausing for a moment as the audience cheers in anticipation of his first words to the public in over a year. He turns his attention to the camera as he begins to speak.

Just in case you've forgotten......

Cheers from the audience as a smirk peeks out of the corner of his mouth before he continues.

Let me remind you of just who the hell I am!

Another loud cheer.

I am the man who was named the 2006 Rookie of the Year.

I am the man who was named the 2007 Superstar of the Year.

I am the man that did exactly what he said he would do in 2008 when my name was written in GOLDEN letters when I was given the title of LEGEND in this business.

I am the man every single person in this business thinks of when somebody mentions just one.....simple.....word.

He pauses as the audience cheers just one.....simple.....word.

SHOW-TIME! SHOW-TIME! SHOW-TIME!

The chant continues for a few moments, dying down as he raises the mic back up to his lips.

My name is "Mr. Showtime" Bryan Daniels. And just like when I was in VWE, I came here to GCW to make an impact!

A loud cheer from the audience in attendance as he nods his head in approval to them. It had been too long since he had gotten such an ovation. It was bringing back a lot of memories of days gone by for him. He always enjoyed remembering his past hardships and glories, but it was indeed a new day, and a new era! His focus was on the future. He raises the mic once more.

Now that we have the introductions out of the way, let's get down to business shall we? You see, I could sit out here and bore you with accolades and self-ego boosters all night long but that would be too.......me-ish. It's been far too long since I have been in the mix of things in the wrestling world. Ascension was simply the beginning of what will be a new day for myself and for GCW. You see, I don't come here as a former member of VWE. Even though it did make me who I am, it's not the reason I am here.

A short pause as he lets the crowd soak in his statement.

I come here to you as the newest GCW Titan. And as your newest Titan? I come out here tonight to make a challenge. Now, it could be against someone such as.......oh......Sylas Styles?

An eruption of boos come from the crowd as the his name is spoken. He certainly hadn't come to GCW to make friends.

Now, now ladies and gentlemen. We all know we would love to see The Prodigy versus Mr. Showtime for the eighth time BUT! Instead, I am challenging any GCW Titan in the back that I have never faced before who wants to step into the ring with The Show right here on Mayhem tonight!

Loud cheers come from all corners of the arena as the crowd knows they will be seeing superstars compete that have never stepped into the ring together before.

Whoever comes out can even pick the match type. It can be just a good ole fashion one on one, we could throw in submissions only, or hell, we could even grab tag partners and have us a grand ole time! To me? It doesn't matter who walks through that curtain. Tonight, when my music hits and step into this ring, there is only ONE THING that is for certain......

He smirks as he lifts his head up, looking up at the lights with the mic pointing straight down at him while he walks around the ring.

IT'S SHOWTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!

The crowd delivers his signature catchphrase along with him before cheering loudly afterwards. He stands patiently in the ring, waiting for someone to step through the curtain and accept his open challenge for Mayhem.

[<~The Shooting Starr~>]

THIS IS WARRRRRRRR

The chorus of the song picks up from there as Brent Starr comes back from his brief hiatus from GCW, to a mixed reaction. Starr stands there atop the ramp, eyeing the man in the ring. Letting him soak in the atmosphere, hear the music, and realize who it was that came out. When things settle down, the man raises a mic to his lips....

Bryan Daniels, MISTERRRRRR SHOWTIME! I like that. Sounds good, rolls off the tongue easy, says alot about you, and your character. Tells people you mean business, and their in for a show. Problem is, around here, I'm kind of a big deal, a one man show, all in my own.

So it sparks my interest, not just to test my mettle against you, being the new guy and all, but because I've seen your work from afar, I've seen it from ringside. I've seen it from the back, and hell, I think it's time I see it first hand, on the other end of mine, in a tightly clenched fist.

He holds up his right hand, balled up, and looks at it.

Mr Showtime, versus Brent Starr. First time ever. A clash of the titans, live in GCW on MayheM. I love the sound of that, but I'll enjoy hearing my name announced as the winner even more, not because I'm confident, and know I will win. It just always happens. Nine times out of ten, I walk in, and walk out, a winner. The announcers say my name more then they say hello around these parts. Now, it's high time to make sure I can retain the rights to my name, The PWNdozer, the Dean of PWN U, the PROMOIN PWNDOZER. I'm avoiding the whole shooting starr thing... thats so.. two years ago when the big names would avoid me, cause they knew I'd take their spot. Now it's my spot, and your the threat. So, I'll end the threat, here tonight. One on one, no catches, no stips. Just a simple wrestling match.

That is, if your up for it. Are you up for it, Bryan?

He allows him more mic time, to pump himself up in his MayheM debut. Starr knew the process, you gotta sell yourself first, then allow your talent to sell the rest.

He looks to each side of the crowd, pausing for a moment as he does so. He nods a little as he turns his attention back to the stage, to the man who answered his challenge.

Brent Starr. I've heard that name on more than a few occasions. It's good to finally meet you.

A short pause before continuing.

Ya know, I like the attitude Brent. Cool, cocky, confident. Traits I myself even showed before my extended leave from the business. I even like all the little nicknames you have. Hell, when you have been in this business and done as much as either of us have, your allowed to brag a little. Right?

A short pause as he takes a moment to look toward the audience before continuing.

Right. BUT! As far as the match goes? Straight up one on one? Couldn't ask for anything better.

He walks up to the ropes nearest the rampway, keeping his eyes on Brent as he leans onto the top rope.

However.....

I may have been gone from this business for a while, but if you watched Ascension? You know damn well that I have not lost a single, solitary step. Bryan Daniels is indeed back. And later tonight? I will prove not only to you Brent, but to everyone else in the back, here in the audience, and watching at home that The Show is ready to make his impact felt once again.

The challenge had been laid out and accepted. The match was set. For the first time ever, Bryan Daniels and Brent Starr would square off in the ring. It was truly going to be a match for the ages. Showtime knew he had a big hill to climb when he would face his opponent later on. His mental preparation had already began...
