In a hopefully not vain attempt to get activity up... GCW will have no show restrictions from here on out. Consider yourself apart of that roster, but don't consider yourself stuck to that show. Fight whenever and wherever you want.
If things aren't picking up soon, GCW just may have to close early (on account of my RL piling ups as well >_>). I'm here to provide for those that want this to continue, but if not enough people are able to put forth the effort, there'd be no point in keeping GCW open. As it is, it's Thursday now and I don't think we even have half a card set up or looking to be set up. I see three matches at least scrolling the IC board... with maybe a 2 match "Pick Your Poison" set up, and me going over to Lessien if my invite debutee isn't going to make it with Crymson to round it out to 6 at this time.

I, honestly, think it might be the time of year or something?? Not sure really what it is... Things have fallen off in CWE also, so it's just not here. I 'booked' the matches for the CWE show this week, hoping for RPing to pick up there. Might be on option for here also...?? I wouldn't jump the gun yet on closing GCW... but as the Boss, you DO have the final say. (Would hate to see it close, personally. But, this coming from WJ, who can't win a match to save his life )

Don't get me wrong. It's not something that I want to do, as I think that this is probably the best fed I've ran (despite the constant drop off of people and a few pissy individuals). It may just come down to something that I need to do. I'd like to keep doing it, and keep doing it for those that show up and want to contribute... but there's only so much to do when we have like... minimal roster. If we can pull a full show for each week of this month with the same people... then whatever. They can be the storyliners and the reason for the fed still going. If we have trouble even putting together 8 matches with over 50 CAWs in my possession... then we're going to have a problem.

Yeah, just like WJ said, it might just be the time of year. For instance, I'm still in high school and we've had a lot of testing going on this month already. But then again, April and May are pretty much the testing months throughout the US and it surely plays a big part of the problem. And also, there are people that have jobs and can't get on as much due to randomly shifting schedules every week. For your RL piles, it's just a suggestion but maybe you need someone around here that will actually help you out instead of become a burden themselves...

I'm guilty of droppin off the planet for a few weeks. That had a lot to do with my bday, my son, and generally suffering some burnout. Opening the shows up though, will hopefully help.

i admit to not being as active, and i do apologize, but atm my life is nothing but a vicious cycle of never ending work, problems or family problems, and by the time i log on to gcw, last thing i want to do is be jack jyndal. i dont think you should shut this place down Pyro as it is a great fed, I truly want to rp with you, and i've been slacking a lot which i hate myself for, but I personally think that this is just a bump in the road and you should ride it through to see if GCW can get past it, just my two cents

I agree with what the others said. It's a rough time right now for so many reasons. I've had a lot of work, so I wasn't as active the past week. But, Haven is back baby! Ride it out.
