Her music fading off, and a smile on her face, Kaori Xaviera is standing in the middle of the ring, completely in her ring gear as her sister, Kaoru is standing on the sidelines, dressed in her casual wear, a towel draped over her shoulders. Kaori was borderline ecstatic, why? Because tonight she was scheduled to face her good friend Gran Orientales. Kaoru however, wasn't scheduled to face someone, so she was stuck in observe and support mode, something she was completely awesome with. Stand there, clap, and smile. Three simple things.
"Don't let this smile fool you, I'm dead tired. Why? Because I've spent the last night watching. Well. Observing. Then cowering in fear without an once of sleep afterward. You see, tonight I'm set to face Gran Orientales, and judging by the tapes I've seen, and the things I've observed, I'm SERIOUSLY in for a glorious beating." She closes her eyes as she tries not to imagine it. "It was absolutely freighting. She wasn't the same Gran Orientales that we saw two years ago, let me assure you. Kaoru was totally there with me, and she knows. Oh yes. She knows."
Kaoru then places her hands on Kaori's shoulders, and begins to rub them, to make her feel less tense. "I know. She smiles.
"SEE. SHE KNOWS. I'm honestly quite perturbed."
"She's quite perturbed."
"I don't know if I'm going to be an opponent worthy of her greatness. I mean, just watching those tapes. They...they....I don't even want to picture it."
"She doesn't even want to picture it."
"The way she lifted them. The way she slammed them. The way she did those submission holds." She shakes her head.
"Submission holds!" Kaoru holds up a fist, and glares. "You can do it Kaori. The world believes in you." Honestly, Kaoru just wanted to enjoy seeing her sister get beaten half to death.
Kaori then looks at her sister, "Do you really believe that?"
Almost coldly, "Yes."
"Somehow I'm not feeling we're feeling the right connection here."
Kaoru then tightens her grip, "Oh, believe me Kaori, we're in the same boat on this. Orientales really does have your number."
Cue entrance theme of Kaori's fate.
