What A Return! (Spoilz O2A)

[Jacob Cruise]

"Damn it! Damn it, damn it, damn it!"

Cruise slams a balled up fist into the nearest object he could find. To bad that object was a metal locker. Though a small dent was left, more damage was probably done to his hand than his target.

"Why did I let up? I was hammering that ass clown down to the mat the entire match! I let up for one second....one lousy second....And he pulls that shitty comeback and stupid thing he calls a finisher move on me? Damn it! How could such a pathetic move hurt so fuggin' much?"

Without even thinking of the repercussions, he punches the locker once more.

"Damn it!"

To say he was disappointed in his return match would be an understatement. He was so full of anger, more so at himself than anybody else in-particular. He was just livid.

"Maybe they were right....Maybe Cam did carry my pathetic ass. Maybe....Wait? What? Ha...we all know better than that.....Deep breathes Cruise...deep breathes...."

Calming down some now, he throws his dufflebag containing his wrestling attire over his shoulder and exits the locker-room. Dressed in his street clothes now, a black short sleeved t-shirt, blue denim jeans, and DC skate shoes Cruise now makes his way through the back hallways of the arena. Not really sure where to go, he's torn between heading to the parking lot and going to one of the local bars...or just returning to his room to sulk on the thought of his loss...

“Tough night out there huh Cruise?"

The voice came from behind as Daniel Justice was behind the scenes at the show, watching the competition on the MayheM brand. Never really got the chance to speak up with Cruise that much, but he’d finished seeing his match out there and after coming close to picking up a win on your debut back with the company, and losing in the end is always a bummer. Hell, it happened to Justice himself.

“Just saw your match out there not too long ago... Hell, it looked like you had that thing won man. But hey, I know the feeling. Same thing happened to me in my return here.”

He crosses his arms as he clears his throat. Cruise probably didn’t know what to think due to the fact Justice really never spoke to him and why would he be speaking to him now, that’s the question? Pretty much just meeting new people around the company is all..

“Things may start out rough though, but they turn around pretty quick that’s for sure... I mean just look. Returning to pay per view on GCW, and now I hold the Mid-Atlantic title. Who’d have ever thought that? Anyways, you seemed pretty pissed off as I was walking back here... I mean one loss ain’t that bad is it?”

"One loss? No..."

Cruise doesn't know, or at the moment really care who this guy is. But hey, its someone to talk to and if he pisses Cruise off enough its someone to yell at to relieve anger.

"But one loss to a pathetic loser like Fyre? Yes, that is such a bad thing."

Cruise locks eyes with this guy, not a very pleasant expression on his face as he does so.

So your the Mid-Atlantic champion huh? Yeah, who would have ever thought that, surely not I. But congrats on that junior. Surely you do some 'Justice' to that title. Unlike our current GCW champ.

Wasn't Cruise just a blast to be around when he was in a pissy mood?

"So champ...What is it you want? Let me guess...your the one man welcome wagon?"

“The one man welcome wagon?”

Justice smirks as he shakes his head. He passes his hand over his face as he looks at Cruise. Obviously he wasn’t in a good mood due to the fact he lost, but hey, Justice would be the same if he’d lost that night as well...

“Not really... I mean, it’s no secret you’re no stranger around here... You may have just made your return, but I’ve seen a lot of you in the past Cruise, and you look like one tough SOB that’s for sure...”

He crosses his arms as he continues to speak up.

“Obviously you’re pretty pissed off right now, I’d pretty much be the exact same way if I’d lost to someone like Fyre, but it can only get better from here right?”

A fiendish smirk slowly graces Cruise's face.

Ya' know...I hate to admit whenever someone else is right....But junior, you hit the nail on the head there. Yes, I am one tough SOB. Arguably the toughest...Though, the only people dumb enough to argue that fact are usually planted six feet underground not to long after disagreeing.

Cruise eyes the kid up a bit...

"Now, I don't know why...or even if your trying to kiss my ass...But none the less, I kind of like your style kid. I mean, your the champ...Yet, you still have enough sense to show respect to your superiors. Most people in your situation tend to shoot off at the mouth and not be able to back it up with their fists...But you...your different....I can respect that.

“Kiss ass? Haha, well I’m not really the kiss ass type of guy that’s for sure...”

Justice says as he clears his throat looking at Cruise as he then speaks up towards him yet again as he scratches his chin.

“Well, thanks. Trust me, I’ve seen what you’ve been doing in the ring for a while now, and even was a fan per say of your tag team that was around here last season. After seeing you out there tonight, obviously it was a tough loss, but you’re one of the people around here that I have respect for just by the competition you show out there in that ring.”

Justice then pauses momentarily before he then speaks up yet again towards Cruise.

“And who knows, maybe one day we’ll get the chance to go head to head in the ring... And if I manage to hold onto the championship long enough, we could end up going toe to toe for the championship as well. It’d be one hell of a match that’s for sure...”
