Graciela: Our hero.
Bazztard: Mayhem's own Lessien Melwasul. You know Graciela, you should really be more careful who you pick to hate on. Lessien wouldn't be my top choice is she was the last Debutante alive.
Graciela: This freak doesn't know what planet this is. I don't think I have to worry about retribution from Planet Wonderland and her Space Monkey Brigade of voices.
Bazztard: Just keep pushing it. Well, she has a microphone let's listen before you disappear.
"I'm just a girl."
Graciela: -bangs her head against the announcing table-
"I'm just a castaway from the Island of Mayhem."
~A small cheer from the crowd, because they loved fucking names. But Betty didn't register it and Alice didn't care.~
"Far from the treasures of gold."
~Betty smirked to the camera side.~
"Was that the stroke of luck you thought would keep me from being at your side?"
"your throat?"
"Is there a line between the two that I don't know about, Alice? Then how about the side of her throat? Because that is exactly where we are, Drew."
~Alice tried to seduce Jennifer with her voice.~
"We are with you."
~Betty was annoyed, but continued on with the show on target and on line.~
"It doesn't matter what show you're on, Lover. March is the month of you and me. March is the God of War in Rome. How poetic if it's true, the rise and fall of women and their title reigns ... melting like the last of the winter snows."
"So beautiful, unlike everything I have planned for you Jennifer ... Champion. This three part tragedy begins right now."
"Play me a song."
~Alice mock begged.~
"Oh do play it already and bring me her fucking head."

She wants a song, she'll get “The Gold Song”. I don't think anyone's surprised I'm here. Doesn't mean they aren't happy. Time to get straight to business face to face with, Lessien.
What you think I'm not just going to show up on any show I want? That's raw and anti-establishment. Within the accepted conventions of the medium....but still
I looked down at the reason I assumed we were both here.
So, you're going to try to take this off of me. I kind of figured we'd be having a little meeting, what with the flying A/V equipment, and the grudge swearing and the you not being able to resist.
I guess I can't blame you for wanting something where the payoff might be a little more... satisfying. I just really hope the feeling is mutual. I don't think I can take getting all amped up like this and not getting anything in return again, especially from you.
So whaddya got for me?

Graciela: You knew the Top Debutante wasn't going to hide in the back. Why didn't Lessien?
Bazztard: Maybe Lessien though the Champion was smarter than that. But give Jennifer credit, she's out here telling the challenger to do her worse.
Graciela: Of course she did. This isn't 2007 and Lessien had better figure that out before she writes her next check.
"You for me ... me for you. The only thing wrong with this picture is I'm gunning for you, Lover. It really should be the other way around."
~Betty made the international gesture for around as Alice studied Drew's face from behind the lenses.~
"You beneath me."
~Alice teased.~
"It really is the natural order of things. But somewhere along the way ... far from the shores of mind. Things got fucked up, Drew. That gold. Your waist. Waiting for me. Oh, the heart breaking tragedy of it all."
~Betty stalked slowly from one side of the ring to the other until she was centered again on the Champion ... whispers from the lips of Alice.~
"You know it's true."
~The smile slowly spread ... yes, that smile again. Betty got on target again.~
""Whaddu" I have for you, Drew? Why haven't you heard?"
~Betty laughed subdued.~
"You and I are the last of our kinds, and I'm going to do for you the only thing that I can. I'm going to make your title run ... memorable ... I'm the official stamp that takes you from title wearer #24 to the Debutante Champion, Drew."
"Dance with me."
"That's all you have to do."
Graciella: What does she have on her shredded mind?
Bazztard: I don't think she's done quite yet.
~Indeed, Betty hold up three fingers just above the height of of her head.~
"March is the third month, Lover ... and three is exactly what I have for you. Three shows. Three matches and I'm going to set the screen on fire each and every time. Win, lose or your never ending tragedy ... I'm going to come out here and deliver the way that only I can: Promos, interviews, candid affairs and violence that you will remember long after the words have faded."
~Betty took a step forward.~
"Three steps, Drew. Each one higher. Touch me there again. Until there is only enough air for one to last. The last of her kind she said. That's when I throw you off and stand alone, again."
Bazztard: Big words from the challenger, and a big challenge tied to them all. Three matches with Lessien Melwasul? Well I have three words for that: No thank you.

Three whole matches?
I shrugged a little as if I was exhausted just at the thought of it.
As long as you think we can keep people from making round 2 a bathroom break then you've got yourself a deal.
See, I know you're still getting used to our strange manners and customs but I kind of like backwardsland where I'm the champion and you're the lucky name that just got pulled out of the hopper. It just feels so right.
Well, sort of...
I know there's something a little bit off. If you could even say there's a shadow we fabulous greatest of the great Deb champions live in its yours and well it's chilly and hard to read under there so I'm going to do something about it. No one could beat you for the belt one on one. I plan to be the first.
And I think we both know three matches won't leave any questions. So bring on the carnage and the bloodspray.
Feels like it's been a whle since I've been so excited about something like that even though the last time I'd dealt with someone dangerous and unstable it didn't work out so well. Still I couldn't help my fate-tempting smirk.

Bazztard: The Champion has accepted, Graciela. But back me up on this, three matches will be pleanty for Lessien to get her number. If that happens, Jennifer Drew will go do in the books as the Champion that almost broke through.
Graciela: That works both ways, Bazztard. Jennifer is young and just hitting her prime. That fruit bat you mark out for left hers behind last year and then some. Sure, Lilith versus Lessien defined women's wrestling for a time. But that time is so over. Three matches? Drew gets Lessien's voodoo down and she puts her down while you add a name to your 'exclusive' list.
~Betty registered the smirk in a scanners like flash.~
"Mmm, that one's on me Lover. Since you've signed the proverbial line ... I have all the time in the world to change that look for you."
"A world you'll never see."
~Alice added on the side.~
"But it's the world where I close this comic book down."
"The shadow is always there."
"And in the end you return to the upper mid-card where unicorns and cookies dance in your head, much to the delight of all I'm sure. Night clubs, bikini wax, take your girlfriend to the petting zoo. While I take that"
~Betty pointed at the title, which Alice came ever so close to grabbing.~
"home with me until March, 2022."
~Alice leaned in closer, private words for private times.~
"The clock turns back for Drew alone. Tocking and tocking and talking, never read between the lines. In Wonderland, the least you'll lose is your head little girl. The least is what she meant."
~Alice giggled with an inward breath, ear to ear she snapped her teeth to end her story there. Betty slowly backed them away with a smile.~
"Oh my. I'd hit me right now if I were you."
~The smile vanished quickly from her face.~
"I
really
would."
~The tension was baited as Betty looked dead serious.~
Bazztard: That actually might not be a bad idea for the Champion.
Graciela: Bad idea? She should have kicked her lights out 3 minutes ago.
~The entire arena waited for the Champion's decision.~

Well, alright since you asked so nicely.
And so I dropped the mic and went forward with an elbow right to the face. I figured I could either be in a fistfight or an ambush. If I say no she's taking me down, if she hesitates she's getting something heavy and blunt... perhaps pointy.
And it seemed to be working she was just woozy enough for me to want to put a little zazz on it so I set up for the old fashioned kick to the face.

~Betty was turned around backwards as Drew set up her spacing, but Alice saw a flash of pink and collapsed like the world around her. It was hard to kick a face that was dragging across the canvas and rolling beneath the bottom rope for escape.~
~Betty held her jaw as the crowd boo'd their displeasure. They seemed disappointed that Lessien wasn't going to stand there and get obliterated for their pleasure. The form of Lessien backed away from Drew's ring a moment later "The Golden Song" played.~
Bazztard: Jennifer Drew is fired up. I haven't seen her this way in a while.
Graciela: One second more and she would have kicked that twisted head off. Do you think she has Lessien's respect now?
~Lessien walked up the ramp, still touching her jaw with fingertips.~
Bazztard: I wouldn't say that, but she definitely has her attention. We'll find out tonight who has what.
~The show heads for a break.~
