Victor Wayne was as surprised as anyone when his music started playing after he'd started walking down the ramp. He seemed too concerned with the cart and floodlight he was pushing in front of him to even care. Some crew members came down to help him lift everything into the center of the ring. He gives the one that offers him a microphone a strange look, but graciously takes it anyway.

Don't mind me.

He said with a faint smile. Soon after he used a transparency to project a faint but familiar symbol.

Can we kill the big screen?

Oh, how the cheap seats roared their disapproval.

Just for a minute. The house lights too.

And there was the Uni-Signal shining bright for all, most importantly the man himself, to see. He plays his CD of the theme song, the final touch he remembered from his first encounter, over the PA so as to ensure a sufficiently epic entrance.

[Corona]

Never Fear, Uni-Man is here!

The very heroic voice seemed to come from out of nowhere in the arena. Everyone were trying hard to find the source but failed in doing so. That is until a spot light lands on GCW's resident Superhero. Uni-Man. He was standing in the highest of the high nosebleed section in one of the aisles. It looked like he was wearing a harness that was attached to some kind rope that led to the stage. He placed one foot on a safety railing and adjusts the harness.

Look out below

As soon as he spat out the last syllable he pushed off of the safety railing and was on his way. Zipping down at a breakneck speed the crowd stood there in awe as Uni-Man stuck his landing. I was a bit of a rush for him but he didn't let it stop him from doing a few poses before heading to the ring. As he was near enough to the ring it was clear to see that he had a wireless head set with a microphone on. He entered the ring like he does as normal and doing his usual song and dance.

Good evening citizens of the GCW Universe. It is I Uni-Man. And it would appear that someone has used the Uni-Signal to call for me.

Using the Uni-Signal is like rubbing a magic lamp to summon a genie. Anyone can use it at anytime to call for him for help. In this case it appeared to be for a face to face meeting with his former one night tag partner. Victor Wayne.

Aw Citizen Wayne so it was you who called for me. What business do have for doing so? Someone stole something of yours? Did you see some kind of criminal act take place? Or maybe you'd like me to sign a autograph or two?

Victor shut things down as the lights went back to normal and got ready for the standard business.

I'm glad you asked. You see I've been thinking for weeks about what could have been if we'd have moved on last month. Would I be where Pryor is right now? Or would Jin Remmy be scrambling through English translations of things you've appeared in looking for your weaknesses?

Not that anyone would ever consider something like that.

I don't know if you're the same way but if I have to think about the possibilities any more I might go insane.

Criminally so.

He says letting out an odd laugh.

So let's figure this out one on one here tonight.

Unless you'd prefer it if I'd be plotting some evil scheme before we fight. Because I had some ideas, superweapons, gold reserves, maybe subliminal messages in professional wrestling themes.

He looks directly into a camera and smiles.

It's all very rough right now, but I can have something by bell time. That's if you accept my challenge.

Uni-Man looked at Wayne with surprise in his eyes. The very thought of Victor doing evil in place of just a for a match made him a little sad. He shook the those thoughts out of his head and answered.

Now now Citizen Wayne if you only desired a one on one match all you had to do is ask. I'm willing for open competition that's why I signed with GCW. But please don't resort a life of crime just to face me in battle.

He really didn't want to have to bring down a fellow wrestler. Especially someone he's teamed with before. But if he had to at some point it would have to be done. But now wasn't that time all Victor wanted was a match and Uni-Man was willing to give him that.

I too would like to know how it would have turned out if you and I moved on in the Tournament last month. I would first like to apologize to you though. Because if it wasn't for me being pinned we would have moved on. And for that I'm sorry.

Uni-Man extended his hand in a show of respect to the delight of the crowd.

He graciously accepts the shake.

Don't worry about that. I've waited all these years, I think I can hold out for a little longer. Consider any debt paid in full after this match.

Victor pulls away and seems to turn his face away for a moment, hiding his face from the superhero but doing nothing to lower his voice as he shifts his eyes back and forth.

And I'll save any flirtation with a career in professional evil until afterward then.

He lets out an ambiguous laugh as he, lacking the means to fly away, steps out of the ring and walks backstage.
