It was now confirmed that Daniel Justice’s manager Robin Du Jeu had departed from the company, thus leaving him out on his own again. It was unfortunate to see her go but she needed to do what she needed to do. Now that left Daniel to take care of his own business and he had plans to begin taking care of business starting this Sunday at Absolution. Steve Toreno was the current Mid-Atlantic Champion and Daniel needed to do something about that in his opinion. He wanted to prove that he was the “legit shit” in GCW so to say and after competing on every show so far this season, he found it best to call out Steve Toreno for his championship. The scene right now was Daniel Justice’s apartment and he looked straight into the camera in front of him before speaking.
“Things change in a wrestlers career... Day in and day out you have no idea what is going to hit you. I for one, should know. One day, I’m preparing for my return to GCW, the next I’m locked up in a jail cell. Now, you can see that I am back, and you may have also heard that I was being managed by Robin Du Jeu, who has recently departed with the company... But now, it’s time to move on, and move forward.”
Daniel passes his hand over his face. He and Robin had seemed to be connecting greatly but she had to leave and take it was all understood. Now, Justice has one thing on his mind, and that is gold. He will be sitting by and watching the match up between Jon Pryor and Jin Remmy at the event, but he wanted in a match up as well... and what he had in mind, was what he was about to talk about.
“Steve Toreno... I hear you have a little strap of gold to be put on the line at Absolution am I right? Well here’s my proposition to you Toreno. How about you walk out to that ring, and meet, oh I don’t know? How about ME! One on one, mano y mano for the Mid-Atlantic Championship. The winner walks out with the belt, and the loser walks out with nothing. There is only one better man, and the way I see it, it’s about time someone takes that belt from around your waist. That person Toreno, could be know one else but me.”
Daniel looks into the camera shaking his head. He scratches his chin as he looks towards the camera. He then smirks before speaking up once more.
“So if you’ve got the grapefruits Toreno... You’ll accept my challenge and you’ll face me one on one like a man with your gold on the line this Sunday. I hope to see you there Toreno... I’ll be waiting!”
The camera then fades out to end the scene.
