“House of Wolves” plays as Victor Wayne makes his way down to the ring sans taunts or theatrics. This was the first time he'd spoken in public and he was riding out the tail end of the nice “WELCOME BACK, WELCOME BACK” chants he'd been getting. He took a few seconds to enjoy it all before getting started.
Oh what the hell, let's throw in a little of that old formal bow to really sell it. Finally, he's able to speak again.
I'm no fan of cliches so let me speed through a few at the top. My team may not have advanced to the next round of the title tournament but this is far from the end of my ambitions. I think we all know where I'd like the road to end, whether it's Jin Remmy, Christian Pryce or even Jon Pryor.
As for the last two I know they've more important things to do tonight but they should consider this a standing challenge.
He pulls a piece of paper and a pen from his inside jacket pocket and checks off all the items on it.
Perfect, unless you'd like me to say that I'll be giving %110 tonight and that it's just lovely to be in Chicago.
Wow, even a backhanded appeal like that gets some response.
Now then, that leaves tonight open. If there's anyone back there who wants to help me find my stride, you know what to do.

REACH OUT AND TOUCH FAITH The opening line of his music playing, Sylas Styles strolls out and down the ramp towards the ring. Smiling up at the face of Victor Wayne, someone he's known for a few years now. He circles the ring, getting a mic, and climbs the stairs up, and into the ring, where he stands a few feet away from the open challenge. Hello Victor, long time no see. Speaking of seeing, I see you've gone through quite the changes since your Ohio days. I recall a singlet, and a different color of hair. I also recall a certain classical song that accompanied your entrance. Rock Me Amadeus... and now, well now your walking around like your a member of the black parade. All that's missing is a few other musicians, a couple of floats, and some of your integrity back apparently.
An ooh comes from the crowd as they view the statment as an insult towards the man No no, you've got it all wrong people. This man, was unique, he was one of a kind, he was everything a wrestler needs to be in this business. Everything except.. succesfull. But let's let that slide, as he admits he needs to hit his stride again. Well, no need to seek out some joe shmoe, when you can get your stride back by fighting one of the best wrestlers this industry has seen. No strings attatched, no favors owed, nothing holding me back from fighting full on without limitations.
GCW is the land of oppurtunity, and a land of no limits. We don't need a special division to showcase our multiple layered types of talent and matches, we're just that damn good that we all excell at every match, every style. Which brings us full circle, back to where we stand now. Victor Wayne, and Sylas Styles, two of Ohio's cream of the crop. The best of the company resides here, and those who aren't here, are just finishing up their contract signings. So, from one VWE legend, to A VWE standout star.... ...whats it going to be Victor? What match catches your interest here? A normal one on one match? A ladder match? A submission match? A good old fashioned cage match? What peaks your interest? He allows him to think for a few moments. He obviously has alot to choose from.

Thanks. I'll treasure your backhanded compliments for the rest of my life.
Like you've never changed your look, or are you going to change into the clown get-up before they ring the bell?
He and the handful of geeks who got the reference laughed and of course there was a smaller chuckle later from the mobile internet crowd.
I think you've got things wrong. You are a VWE Legend. One of the good ones no less and I don't think it's anything to scoff at, but me?
I'm no shining star of VWE, but if I'm lucky I plan to carve myself into one right here. Start fresh, where I don't have to deal with dubious distinctions like being as someone tactfully put it“everything but successful.”
Sure it was a fair to say but he didn't have to like it.
I accept your offer. The spoken one at least. I think a normal match should do. No strings attached, no favors owed, no nostalgia.

Good...good. Sorry about the whole.. backended compliment. I'm just used to talking to people who have no respect for the Ohio part of my career. Despite what you may believe though, you are a shining star. You had to be to make it in VWE, and stay on the main roster. The officials don't make mistakes in their hirings.. I would know, I helped hand pick most of them the last 2 years I was there.
So a simple one on one wrestling match it is, Victor. I'm looking forward to it, oh boy am I. So I'll be seeing you shortly, right back here we stand now. Hope your prepared. He smiles as he backs up and out of the ring, facing him as he backs up the ramp the whole way.
