I sat inside Chi-Town once again, nursing the same coffee I ordered over an hour ago. I had been watching GCW ever since my return to the United States, and so far a lot of the faces were new I remembered a few naturally the other Brent who looked to be champion elect. Avenger yeah he was still here and still a mouthpiece. Lauren my former sister-in-law damn she was hot but seemingly becoming a total bitch. Seemed a few of my favorites had gone Shelby Steele, last I heard was rolling as Danes.

I glanced down at my coffee yeah no doubt it was cold, but I stirred it pointlessly was I going to drink it? Probably not cold coffee sucks. Where was I yeah the face of GCW had changed for the better? I am not sure on that. For the worse? Only time will tell... Megan had warned me that it wouldn't be the same here, but this time I am here for different reasons. I wanted to wrestle, and I'd be lying if I didn't want to make a name for myself. I wasn't a returning or arriving legend, some I agree with some I don't.

I waved over to the waitress as I wanted a fresh coffee and this time I was going to drink it, she came over and was pleasant. Out of my league of course.

Can I get a fresh coffee please?

I noticed the sigh as she took away my old coffee, I can't blame her as I barely touched it. I sat looking around the cafe it used to be a popular haunt for GCW wrestlers, now it seemed like it was barely making enough to get by. Maybe it was the time of day, but I felt a draft and the blast of street sound head my way that let me know that the door had just opened...

And in stepped James Hunter from the blustery cold streets of chicago, Damn weather sucks and it seems its getting worse, removing his Jacket and resting it over his arm, Looking around the place he can see it was deserted. Except from a face he recognised but couldnt put a name to possibly a GCW titan its wasnt really clear at the moment, Walking over to the counter and ordering a coffee, The young waitress quickly made it and handed it over to james, James then proceeded to head to the table where the young man was sitting

Hey I recognise you i just cant pout a name to face right now, Care to refresh my memory?

I glance up and saw James Hunter I remembered him even if he didn't remember me, but to be honest I didn't expect people to remember me. At least he sort of remembers my face.

My name is Brent Steel, I wrestled in GCW for a short while last yeah. Though I think this is the first time we met.

Still James was standing there and I thought best to offer him a seat, maybe I could get some inside info on GCW right now. That and James seemed like a nice guy, so maybe we could become friends. You can never have too many friends accorded to some people and I think there is good logic to that view.

James Nods the he proceeds to pull out the chair and then taking a seat, Taking another drink of his coffee. Now that Brent had introduced himself, James remembers him something got a good future ahead of him.

Yeah i remember you now, Yeah its the first time we've met. I caught a couple of your matches last season from what i saw at a glance i was impressed, But the question is are you signing back up, It'll be interesting to see what you can acomplish.

James lifts the coffee to his lips and takes a drink before setting it back on the table

I looked at James and thought about his seemingly high hopes for me, certainly looking at what he had achieved last season becoming Mayhem Champion. I had goals to build myself like that.

Yeah I have re-signed and I am to wrestle a dark match against Chris Calloway just before Mayhem goes on air. I am kind of nervous about it.

Because it was my first match back in America or because of my opponent being a lot larger as normal. Maybe a bit of both the last time I worked with Calloway I lost in the most embarrassing way. Something I'd like to forget. Then I saw the waitress arrive with my fresh coffee.

I took a sip of my coffee and this one I was determined to drink. I had been watching GCW particularly the world championship tournament.

I watched some of the GCW World Championship tournament, but it seemed to go down unexpectedly and what with the return of Jon Pryor too I didn't expect that he wasn't dead.

James smiles and takes a quick drink of his coffee, It was good to hear that brent had resigned with GCW and that he was wrestling a dark match

Thats good to hear, At least tonight you get a chance to see if anything has changed from when you were previously here. Which isnt much, Just the few new faces here and there nothing to major. The only major shock as you know already is the return of some pronouced dead in Pryor. But enough of that you have an idea where you've been placed Lock-up or Mayhem?

All I could say was that the rumor was I was going to be on LockUP, it puzzled me as the LockUP roster seemed to have a lot more star power. Maybe I was to be the bottom feeder of that brand who knows, it would be nice to get back into wrestling.

I heard a rumor that I am on LockUP, but I can't think why I am. LockUP seems to be the flagship brand, Mid-Atlantic Champion, Tag Champions on that brand and you former Mayhem Champion, Avenger former two time Contentinental Champion or World as they now call it. I am kind of nervous and excited about that. Then there is Sylas Styles he is a living legend in just about every fed going.

I could have gone on why I felt LockUP was a brand perhaps too good for me, but then I laughed before saying the next part.

So many potential ass whuppin's for me to receive.

I took a sip of my coffee, it tasted good really good.

James laughs at Brents last comment, James was on the recieving end of a few tough losses last season, But all his hard work that he put in he got rewarded by winning the Mayhem title

Your not alone in the ass whuppin departament, It doesnt bother me as much as it did when i was first starting out those few short years ago. Just take it on the chin

James takes drink of his coffee before continuing to speak

Sylas Styles I've herd alot about him, Not seen too much of him in the ring until he made a 'suprise' return at absolution. But itll be good having you join us all on lock-up and making it what it was last year, The leading brand in GCW!

James did a good job of making me feel at ease about it all, I guess as a rookie I can look forward to the beatings. As James said just take them on the chin, which is what I intended to do.

Yeah I think that I can survive those beatings, and I think I'll surprise a few sometimes.

I had noticed that James had lost in the tournament for the title, so I wondered what was next for him. Would he continue to chase the World title or maybe just hang around for a feud or head for the Mid-Atlantic title. Toreno vs James could be a good match, it was before.

So James do you have any plans in GCW?

Plans? Havent really thought about that, Now that im out of the tournament. The world title is out of the picture for now at least but that can wait for a while, So i guess i'll just keep going out to the ring and do what i do best and hopefully impress the right people along the way. Hopefully soon i can get a bit more gold to add to my accomplishments, But the road ahead is going to be a tough one. But those plans could change, if all doesnt go according to plan.

James finishes the last of his coffee and sets it back down on the table.

I didn't think James would have many plans for the immediate future, I imagine that being knocked out of a tournament can be devastating I really should have thought about that before saying anything. Still James seemed to be in high spirits and ready to work, I didn't realize he was a blue chipper, I like those kind of people.

Yeah I think there is a lot of potential for good story lines, and enough people to make "classic" feuds. I think there is another young guy in GCW Shayne Williams, I can't remember which show he is on but I think me and him might have good chemistry.
