After the loss to Avenger, Angel goes back to his dressing room with his head between his legs wondering what went wrong. Malachi is a few minutes behind him as he sees Angel not in the best of spirits. Angel begins contemplating as he sees Malachi.
I can't beat him can I??
Malachi looks at Angel for a few moments before speaking.
No you can't! Not right now anyway. I thought there was a time where you could be unstopable but from what I saw in the ring from you and from him; you can't beat him.
Angel always acknowledged Malachi's honesty.
Don't know what to do because to be World Champion it will mean going through guys like that and the rest of the competitors. I mean just look at the pool that is out there. I know I can beat all of those guys. I know I can!
Malachi taps Angel on his back and gives him a towel.
You have to get back to what you were. You can't worry about perception but have to do what is necessary. Now I know this hasn't been the best of your weeks. Being called out by a stable member. Being kicked to the curb. And losing to someone that has haunted you for a very long time. But you can't look so much at what has happened. You got to pick yourself up and brush yourself off.
Now you got your woman wrestling later and even though you are not going to be the World Champion you did call me about some possible things so lets talk about them?
Angel is feeling better even though the loss did hurt.
Well those will have to wait until tomorrow night at Mayhem. It is about time that I started doing things more productive and it begins after Exodus.
