The jumbo-tron shows Jon Pryor walking down the back hallways of the GCW Arena, towel draped over his shoulders. A Debutante match had ended, and it's coming near to the time to run the second round of the tournament matches. The Arena fills with a chorus of boos toward the man who, just an hour earlier, had blamed the fans for him faking his own death to be left alone to heal from injury.

He stops, a door in front of him. Balling up his taped fist, he knocks rapidly on the door. "Pryce... open up."

Pryce pulls up his tights. wow Jon Pryor in his second round match. this was going to be interesting. he then pulled on his elbow pads and then a knock at the door. not wanting to open the door Pryce shouted.

Grasping the door knob, he gave it a slight twist, allowing the door to open under it's own power. It had been a while since he'd spoken freely to this man. It had him silently wondering what all stuck, and what went through the space in his ears. "I look a lot different than that bum last month... now don't I?' he said with a smirk, and a shrug.

"You're able to see through the clouded "Me-Vision" into what lay past tonight, correct?" he said, dropping down on the steel chair in the room, having pulled it in front of his one-night-only tag partner.

yeah thats correct. and the beard didn't suit you. but heck.

Pryce half smiled. it was an honor for him to be teaming with Pryor. yet Pryce knew that sooner or later he would have top face him one on one. and that was what interested Pryce. he had hung with the best of them up until now. but this is where the fun began.

i just hope we beat these other losers tonight. because to be honest instead of this tag match it should be you against me. and if we win it will be. now that is what people really want to see. these guys are lightweights, we are what the crowd really wants. a match for the ages, a match where i plan on excelling at. just hope you can keep up.

"Like I said in the bar, it's hit me a whole hell of a lot harder than I'm planning on hitting you. Think you've hit me hard? Do it even harder. Because you know that I'm coming after you with everything that I have. Something about returning from the grave to auto-win a World Championship sounds appealing to me." he said, while nodding to Pryce's words.

"So... WHEN we beat these guys... you'd best be ready to watch your ass come LockUP! I don't know how familiar with me that you are, but if you look into any bit of my history, you'll know I pull no punches. I don't leave any stone unturned. Because in the end, only two things matter. Just what they'll remember you by, for or as... and that you leave that ring with your hand raised. I already have much of the first accomplished... the second? Just like our tag opponents in a few minutes, you'll only be another one on the list in two weeks."

Pryce nods. the last part he found amusing. however unlike most of his other encounter with his opponents this time Pryce decided to keep his cards close to his chest. there have been few men he decided to do this with. one of them was Avenger, and the other was Scott Manor.

well then at least we agree that this team we are about to face have no chance. they are both new to this company and i think showing them how i roll works fine. Wayne and Uni don't stand a chance. why is that because i don't know about you. but I'm not giving them a chance to strike. I'm ending this quickly so i can move on.

Pryce smiles sadistically.

now i have to disagree with you on one thing. I'm not what your used to. I'm not an original, I'm not a former World Champion but i plan to be. I'm not the type of guy you have faced before. i look at the opponent you have faced in the past. and i can safely say without a doubt that you have never faced an opponent like me before. I'm a different breed, i have Destiny watching my back. and whether you or anybody else likes it or not I'm winning this tournament. and I'm going to leave it to you to formulate a strategy against a man like me. though i Will tell you that it is futile.

Pryce flicks his nose and laughs

and as for watching me in the past, well I'm a changed man. you can look t every match last year that i was involved in and you will learn nothing about me that people don't already know. thats why the change in me surprised Joe Bruiser, thats why he lost. i don't want you to make the same mistake.

"If only you knew how often that had been said. And how often I put the stops to it. I'm not underestimating you at all. I'm over-estimating. That's how I roll, that is how I'm a three time former champion.

And Wayne... don't do what you're probably thinking in that little head of yours and underestimate him. Be ready, he's very well versed. This could be his break out show."

He looked at a nearby monitor on mute. It was getting close to time. "I'll see you out there. Good talk."

With that, he left the room.
