The Camera comes on and playing is some of clips of Joe Bruiser from his Boxing days. In the background you can hear the announcers every word loud and clear as day as they preach the greatness of Joe. One clip after another you see and hear of Joe.
JOE BRUISER HAS DONE IT.
He has done it again folks, JOE BRUISER is the NEW WORLD CHAMPION.
Joe Bruiser vs. Jacob Holt and this may very well turn into a Classic.
Joe Bruiser is the most MARVELOUS Boxer I think I have ever seen.
The clips then switch over to some clips of Joe as a beginning wrestler. Once again, its the same as you hear the announcers in the background while the clips of early Joe play.
EX BOXER HE MAY BE BUT THIS MAN CAN CERTAINLY GET IT DONE AS HE HAS SHOWED TONIGHT.
Not only is Joe Marvelous as a boxer but he is now Marvelous as a Wrestler.
Joe Bruiser everyone...
The clips stop as then some slow music begins to play. Then out of nowhere on pops up the announcement that was submitted by Amanda Wallace on the GCW.com website.
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS- Amanda Wallace had a startling announcement to submit to GCW.com on the day of it's relaunch. Today, GCW.com learned, as the world is doing at this very moment that Continental Heavyweight Champion, Shia Storm, has retired from the sport of professional wrestling.
"It's just another sad case of personal life interfering," Miss Wallace said in her official statement, before continuing with the following announcement.
"While it is unfortunate that GCW has lost it's Championship holder, it also bears fact that the show must go on. Therefore, at GCW Exodus on February 8th, there will be a one night tournament. In this tournament, the GCW Titans will fight in single-elimination matches until there are two men left standing in the end. Those two men will be named the new Number One Contenders for the vacated Continental Heavyweight Championship, and will headline GCW Absolution at the end of January, with the Championship on the line!
Just who will be in the tournament? That will be for the GCW Titans to decide. No one shall be exempt. If you want to start off 2009 as the GCW Continental Heavyweight, well, to condense the name, the GCW World Champion, as it will be changing its name as well, show up, make your statement, then win your matches. It's as simple as that."
This blockbuster announcement is sure to raise the excitement level that is being felt for the start of the new season, as anybody, it seems, new or old, could possibly become the new GCW World Champion! Stay tuned to GCW.Com for more future updates, and see you all for the official start of our season, February 8th!
Once it finishes the music begins to fade, but still plays. All of the sudden, a close up of the top of Joe's Bright Red Fro appears on screen. He then raises his head and you now stare at the most serious face of "The Marvelous" Joe Bruiser, that you have ever seen. The room is dark and a light pops on Joe as he camera begins to pan out and spin as Joe speaks.
[glow=blue,2,300]Champion... What defines a Champion? Is it the charisma of someone? Is it the words that come out of there mouth? Or is it something like someone who has done it all...[/glow]
Joe pauses as the camera stops spinning and zooms back into Joe's face.
[glow=blue,2,300]I know what a Champion isn't. A Champion is not someone who cheats there way up a ladder. A Champion is not someone who takes AS MANY shortcuts as they can just to get what they want. A Champion is not just someone who HAS done it all. Peyton Manning for example, he holds a couple records in the NFL Record Books. He has won a Super Bowl, not just that but he has also Won the BIG ONE........THE SUPER BOWL. Muhammad Ali, he won just about everything you could win as a Boxer back in his day. Micheal Phelps, need I say more? Richard Petty, won 7 Championships and 200 Races. Are these men Champions? Why, yes they are. But does just doing it all make you a Champion? Take Dan Marino for instance, Holds the Majority of the records for a Quarterback in the NFL. Had a GREAT Career, but never won the big one....THE SUPER BOWL. But does that make Dan Marino not a Champion? To some people yes, only because he didn't win the Super Bowl. He never BECAME a Champion in some peoples eyes. Mark Martin, has won 35 races in the Sprint Cup Series. Finished second four times in the Point Standings. First loser technically, but is he a Champion? To MOST people no, he never won a Championship. Although, he did win 5 IROC Championships, 4 ASA Championships. But how many people really pay attention to those 2 series? Since he never won the SPRINT CUP TITLE, that doesn't make him a champion? [/glow]
Joe pauses as the camera goes black. Then out of nowhere it pops back on facing Joe's face.
[glow=blue,2,300]Just because people don't win everything that requires them to be Champions in most peoples eyes doesn't make them NOT Champions. Mark Martin and Dan Marino, will always be Champions in my eyes. ON and OFF THE track and Field. Speaking of off the field those 2 men have done so much off there fields as well. Does that make them Champions? Yes sir it does. [/glow]
Camera fades to back for 3 seconds before switching to a close up shot of the side of Joe's head. He speaks but about 5 seconds after he speaks, clips of Joe's past accomplishments are being shown. First you see a few clips of Joe holding, carrying, or KNOCKING THE FUCK OUT of someone as a Boxer. Then it switches to some wrestling Championships. keep in mind, after the first 5 seconds of Joe speaking this is all starts playing while he speaks. Now you see Joe winning the Nationwide Championship match. Next you see Joe standing with Marisol Mariposa, both holding the tag titles that he won. Then, you see Joe standing in the middle of a caged ring holding A World Title.
[glow=blue,2,300]I have won my fair share of Championships in my lifetime. Not one of them were easy by any means. My Boxing Titles that I have won, took alot out of me. Not just my time but also my personal time, and spare time. It was all about Boxing for me, nothing else mattered to me as long as I was high on the pill known as Adrenaline. My wrestling titles came after so much MORE Time that I had to spend working out, training, eating right, meetings with all of the promoters that I worked for. ALL of my personal time and spare time were spent not just doing everything that I mentioned but thinking and worrying about what is Next for me. When I won that World Title becoming The FIRST EVER Triple Crown Champion in that particular Federation, I felt like nothing could stop me. I have done it, I have finally done it. The adrenaline going through me was like nothing else I have ever felt before. Compared to winning all the other boxing and minor wrestling titles The World Title was by far the one feeling that I don't think I could ever explain to you how it felt. It is like...winning the Daytona 500, or winning The World Series, or The Super Bowl. But since not many of us can put into words how that feels then just accept it for what it is. All I can tell you is...I hope one day you can feel it to.[/glow]
Joe stops talking as well as the clips stop playing. It fades to black for about 5 seconds before it pops back on showing Joe from a side shot.
[glow=blue,2,300]Being a Champion is not just about winning it all. It is about being good at what you do. I believe that in all the clips you have seen that I have showed you SOME of the stuff that it takes to be a Champion. What I have done and do out of the ring makes me a Champion in my heart. I hope that after watching this 6 minute clip that I am a Champion in your heart as well.[/glow]
Clips start to play of Joe signing autographs at various places, doing some commercial shoots, talking to various fans of all ages, and it even shows a clip of him at a Miami Dolphins Game. As all of that was shown, Joe kept speaking.
[glow=blue,2,300]Being a Champion is not easy at all. You can go walk out to that ring every night and wrestle at your damnest and show everyone that you are a Champion. But what all you have to go through day and day out and how you handle all of it, is what makes you a REAL Champion. Tonight, I have spent 6 minutes of my time showing you guys what it takes to be a real champion. But tomorrow morning, I will be back at the gym training for this World Title Tournament. And I won't stop training until the next off season comes. Thats right, I will not stop training after the Tournament. Even if I don't win it I will STILL be up every morning at 8 to go train at the Gym for my next Challenge.[/glow]
The clips end as the camera once again fades to black. After 4 seconds it pops back into Joe's face.
[glow=blue,2,300]THAT is what being a Champion...[/glow]
Camera fades back.
[glow=blue,2,300]is all about...[/glow]
Eye of The Tiger begins to play as the camera switches over to a Pic that says, "Brought to you by The BWWUUZZAA Energy Drink. It keeps you Hydrated without slowing you down. BWWUUZZAA."
Camera fades to black and...end transmission.
