Hope He Understands (O2 Avenger)

After having her little escapade with Angel Fyre, he long lost lover slash boyfriend; she knew that getting back with him was the best thing for her. She just had to get what clothes she had over in Miami back with her but more for the part of explaning to the Avenger why she is leaving. She felt a little uncomfortable with it but knew she owed him that much.

She arrives back in Miami and opens the door and sees him there watching some tv and layed back in his favorite chair.

Hi there. I am glad you are sitting down. I have some news that you need to hear. First, I want to thank you for your kind heart for allowing me to stay. I know you are a good man but I haven't been totally honest with you. I know that is hard to believe but it is true. My intentions have not been solely on you but on the life I used to have.

I went to see Angel and I know you two have never had a good relationship and you both have things that go way back. It is where I met you to begin with. I was concerned about him and honestly I only came back to Chicago to get him back and not be with you. I am sorry but that is the truth. For almost 18 months, I had to live a life without him and trying to find myself. Now we have rekindled so I wanted to tell you the truth face to face. I feel you need that much.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed our little time together but lets face it we never thought it would be nothing more but maybe a few nights together. I never wanted to go that far and just wanted a place to stay warm in this cold town. But the reality is that he is like me and I am like him, you have never been like neither one of us. You play by different rules and honestly play with a different deck. Now I know I didn't come with alot of things but wanted to give you your key back and collect my things and leave in peace. I wanted you to know the truth and how thankful I was for your hospitality.

Trinity walks towards the Avenger as she was fearful in ways and other ways not so much.

I want this to be clean. I want you to understand. I need for you not to make this into a scene and hopefully me being here for the what 1 or 2 days max that maybe you see things differently and your life or career. You are not the monster that hunts for glory but I feel you got more inside. Again, I am trully sorry if this becomes uncomfortable for you at any time. Just know my place isn't here in Miami with you but Los Angeles with him. I know you guys will cross paths in Chicago and hopefully we can remain friends to some degree.

So don't and please don't think that this was Angel's doing. It was my own. No more hatred needs to be placed in him from you. At one time, I feeled we all could get along back a few years ago but things do change my friend. Just think about what I said and here willing to hear your voice. All I wish if things were better and things with you two were great again.

Trinity stands there as it seems the Avenger hasn't moved an inch as she waits to see what his reaction will be.

*The Avenger haven't released his eyes off of her ever since she started talking. In his mind, he kinda knew something like this could happen but it seemed to have shaken the man a little.*

You know Trinity there was a part of me thinking and knowing that you were up to no good. There was a part of me saying don't trust her but let the Avenger give you some credit. You know how to manipulate to get what you want. That is why little Fyre loves you so much. Now as far as us being friends, the Avenger thinks there will be something there always. Can't say we will go out for dinner or nothing like that but our lives have crossed paths too many times in one way or another. And besides maybe this is what the Avenger needs to really get his head on straight. Stop worrying about the "what ifs" and start worrying about the "what is".

There was a time in my life that the Avenger thought that the relationship would be better. Even though it was strictly business, it could of led into a more understanding and cooperative relationship. But you see, we are two different people like you and the Avenger. It was about finding myself and not about the fact you were here and we had a few nights. The Avenger knew it would be no marriage proposals in the work. You are the mirror image of that idiot. You are about yourself and how the newspapers, internet, and tv portrays you.

The Avenger crosses his eyes as he knew that this was not good for his emotional state.

Now you two belong with one another. I knew that about 5 years ago. Back when the boy was nothing more than a pimple face freak and you were just a freak. The Avenger knows that sounds shady coming from a guy like me. But don't waste no more of my time, the Avenger has got things to do and plans on starting them on February the 8th. Don't worry, the Avenger isn't the type to slap a girl or make you pay for anything.

As far as Angel goes, well there has never been a huge love loss between us anyway. He has his feelings towards me and vice versa. His biggest problem is he is trying to look good over his performance. That is why he will never be a major champion. His ego and primadona outlook in life. But you probably already knew that to begin with now don't you. So Trinity please leave me. Go back to Los Angeles or Chicago where your man is and leave me to be with South Beach.
