What a way to start the holiday breaks, hm? While GCW in all likelihood will not start officially until the patch is released for the PS3, allowing us our attribute adjustments, we will however, start taking CAWs and registering finishers, entrance music and such on that day. A lot goes into a fed start up for the new year, so getting an earlier start is key, especially for a tentative February 2009 start.
-Starting at 10 AM Eastern on Tuesday, December 23rd, we will allow the registration of ONLY ONE ACCOUNT PER GENDER for the first 24 hours of registration. So, starting at 10 AM Eastern on Wednesday, feel free to register other accounts if you've been granted any extras. For the Titans, the males may only be allowed one account until the final weeks leading up to the season. See Amanda Wallace's posts in the Titan prep board for more. Kim Master's Debutante Regulations are pending for account limits.
The reason why there is only one account per IP address that registers a finisher in the first 24 hours is to counter the unfairness of last year, when some IP addresses were registering 3 finishers almost immediately, taking them out of the pool for the other numerous IP addresses that were trying to sign up as well. This way, it should remain fair.
-If you're a returning member and wish to keep your finisher the same as you had it last year, that finisher will be Grandfathered to you. No immediate registration is necessary. If, however, you wish to pick a new finisher, you will have to register on December 23rd with the rest. Lists should go up in the respective division boards regarding which returning member will have a grandfathered finisher granted to them shortly. Those that do get granted multiple accounts under one gender, you will only be allowed a grandfathered move for your returning main account only. The multiple accounts under one gender are subject to roster space limitations.
-Finishers will be allowed to be shared between genders, as the Gender split is very strict due to the Next Gen nature of GCW.
Create a Finishers: If you're registering a Create-A-Finisher, then we will need you to post a description of the move to make sure we don't have too many similar moves. As such, CAF pedigree's may not be allowed if someone chooses the in game pedigree, for example. But, description wise, I will simply use my own CAWs as examples. We don't care about the number of strikes in a CAF, but merely the end result.
Examples:
Cadavre: Cradle Piledriver
Fernando Castro: Flipping Piledriver
Amanda Wallace: Double Underhook Dominator
Kelly Monarch: Angel's Wings
Things of that nature is what we're looking for in CAF registration.
Only Primary finishers will be registered, once again. If a secondary is taken as a primary, you must change it. If a signature move is taken as a primary finisher, you must change it.
