Well, it's official. A group of god damn misfits have taken over my game/league. It started off innocently with a match between Brent Starr & Alex Shoque, the tag team members of ~Future Shock~. I clicked random, just to get a match together of my caws and test how their movesets work, and if they use ALL their finishers and signature moves.
(The following is treated/written as a match for my own home fed, Ultimate Pro Wrestling, simmed, created and ran by myself and a friend or two at home)
Well, it started off nice. They rounded eachother in the center of the ring, starting off the 20 minute iron man match. It would be Starr taking the control of pace. Slowly striking his way through the first 2 minutes of the match, continuing his 2008 trend, and then he broke into grapples. An STO-Neckbreaker combo, followed by neckbreaker across his knee got a 2 count. This must have rattled Alex pretty bad, because when he got up, he went off on Brent for about 5 minutes of uniterupted dominance. FoF combo's in the corner, 2 super-rana's off the tb's, a slingshot elbow and it was finisher time as Alex unleashed a springboard moonsault from the top rope ala Wang Yang, and got a 3. Starr got up, shocked obviously at the way his partner was dominating him, and unleashed a 3 hit combo of his own. Middle kick, spinning back kick, spinning back fist, his momentum at it's peak, he hit a deadly dog, a signature move, for the 3. The next 3 minutes was spent back and forth between the two for control until Starr hit a WMP (Weapon of Mass PWNstruction) for another 3 to go up 2-1. Shoque answered back with a move he later revealed was called "The STARR Treatment". A double underhook elevated snap ddt facebuster!! This evened it up at 2-2 and it stayed that way till 10 seconds was left on the clock.. that is when Alex Shoque unleased a vicious knee to the face variation of the shining wizard, a new trademark move, which got a 3 count with 1 second left.
Starr was shocked, litteraly. Was this his payback for taking time off from Future Shock to persue his career in other companies like FCW, GCW, APW, WTF, XWA, and LXW? Alex wasn't invited unless it was for some 1 off tag match to end a feud. Maybe it got to him, maybe he felt neglected. The answer came when Alex challenged Brent to "Recruit that legend friend of yours, Sylas Styles, and have us a tag match to see who the better tag member, REALLY carried the team". So He did just that, Starr/Sylas came to the ring. When the music hit introducting Alex Shoque, he wasn't wearing the matching attire as Starr, the way he always did. No, this was a new look for Alex. A more, grungier, dirtier, NASTIER looking Alex came out with not one, but two tag team members.
The first, a man built by steal with sex appeal.Raymond "Knockout" Ortiz, or RKO as he was known in the UPW developmental league (my other mem card lol). He was lean, mean, and not so much green anymore. Gone was the flashy attire of old where he was deemed "flamboyant". It was replaced with a black and white simple attire that showed he was serious about his career. His chest, arms, and back covered in new inkwork. It would intimidate anyone staring across from him in the ring.
The other member, former MMA star, Nate "The Hatchet" Hammel. His story was simple. With the influx of wrestlers wanting to break into MMA, making it look like anyone could win in MMA, he decided to do the opposite, break into wrestling and show how easy he could dominate in THEIR league. So the 6'5 265lbs freak with peak's, came! His arms covered in sleeves, his back redesigned with his family crest. Showcasing his family name as a prominant one in MMA.
Needless to say, 3 on 2 is not odds you want to be on the smaller side of, but Starr and Styles held their own, eliminating the younger of the 3, Ortiz, with a snapshot they call, 3 frames to fame. Next came the MMA monster, who striked and stretched the living hell out of Styles to the point he hit his finisher, a 3 knee strike combo, leaving Sylas prone to be picked up and body pressed 4 times before being dropped into a lifting knee (Knee Strikes ->Body presses->Go To Sleep). The Money Maker, put away the legend, leaving Starr and the 2 members of the new team. Shoque was tagged back in, and the 2 went back and forth for a few minutes before Shoque tagged in Hammel and the two hit the sweet and sour before Hammel locked in a triangle sleeper, which Starr fought off, which brought Shoque into the ring who attempted a running crucifyx head scissors, but missed Starr and hit Hammel, leaving him down long enough for Starr to hit a knee, busting him open and getting a 3 count.
It was back to Starr/Shoque and Shoque was on roll, hitting a mule kick in the corner, followed by a nice overhead release german that had Starr hit the matt and bounce back up to his feet. As Starr was laying prone, Shoque hit a diving double foot stomp to the back of his head. Signalling for the finish, Shoque lifted him up, trying for the "Starr Treatment", but Starr countered with a low blow and pin with his feet on the ropes for the 3. Shoque was going ballistic as Starr celebrated. Shoque left ringside shaking his head as he went up the ramp and Starr went to the fans at ringside to celebrate. As he was, a very affectionate women got her hands all over him. He brought her over the railing and teased the fans for a long kiss, but laughed and denied them the pleasure. She didn't know, as she dipped Starr down and planted a wet one on him, leaving him stunned and kicked in the head right after.
Shoque was laughing on the ramp as she laughed at Starr and joined HER MAN on the ramp. "The 3 members are now 4" he announced. It's an "Imminent Evolution" he stated. "About time someone stood up to the spotlight hogs like Starr, and Styles" and "Nobody could stand up to their abundance of untapped talent, and unmatched charisma".
Immediately after leaving the rampway, the 4 posed for pictures.
