"The day's still young, Miss Angel... it's still young indeed..."

The door is opened for them, and as Amanda casually waits for Candice to exit the limo first, she takes one last drink from her cup, grabbing her purse and following her out.

"Full body, deep tissue and happy ending sound like it's on the order?"

[Candice Angel]

$-Shaking her head at Amanda's words as she stepped from the vehicle herself, she gazed at the building before them for a few seconds, releasing a sigh before responding...-$

"Happy ending? Well...I guess we'll see then won't we? Shall we?"

Time had come and gone, the massage of course, was deeply gratifying. Chicago shopping was stellar... as Amanda herself even "Pulled a Candice" and spent an un-godly amount of money on a pair of shoes. It was insane... but it was helping her to relax and not worry about the past few weeks, also along with how she got the money in the first place. But, perhaps Candice would finally agree with her on what she can do to make this inheritance worth while. He probably placed her in the will thinking the two would still be business partners at that time, and she would make sure that the money would push forward into business.

Amanda hadn't said a further word on the probability of running another company the entire outing, just having fun, watching Candice be herself and do her thing, and even being a little spend-thrifty herself. May as well get it out of her system, hm?

Finally, the two descended upon the Riva Cafe, nestled with an amazing backdrop on Chicago's Navy Pier.



Having placed her order for Lobster Diavolo, a spicy pasta topped with a whole Maine Lobster, Amanda's attention remains transfixed to the window just east of her, looking into the city, thinking to herself how it sure beat the hell out of Detroit...

"I... I think if I do a new company? I... I really would like for it to be here. I can't think of a single complaint for this city at all. Jon kind of pushed for the last one to be in Detroit... and, unfortunately I never left the downtown area by the casinos before I agreed... but, wow. This place... I could definately get used to it..."

$-Candice's eyes arose from her plate, as the fork in her hand slowly made it's way back atop before her eyes stretched wide before replying...-$

"You really...Don't want to give up on this business do you? I mean every few minutes it seems as if I can see the sparkle in your eye and I clearly know what it is you're thinking 'Mandy. God you're almost watering at the mouth about it. Don't you think you should take some time to think on it more? This is a HUGE decision to have to make I'm sure you know. What if...What if the saying isn't true and the third time ISN'T a charm?"

"Then it's not. Life goes on, and maybe I get it through my stubborn skull. But what if it is and I don't try? What if it's our swan song and we succeed, like I know we can? What if it's a proper way to live up to your father's legacy?

I mean... think about it. Who was the one that was the "popular" Angel to go visit back in Toronto it seemed? People knew who it was that ran the show... how doomed do you think they'd be if the Angel that every single wrestler and staff member came to visit so much that she had to constantly take vacations to halfway evenly distribute the work all of a sudden is a CEO of another wrestling empire?"

$-Candi's eyes widen even more as she almost shivers before responding...-$

"Please!...DON'T remind me...*Sigh* I...I understand what you're saying 'Mandy. I Do but...I guess that fear is still there and the fact that so much work was put into that place by not just me but others as well and now...I don't see it surviving another season to be honest. Maybe I still have that to deal with on a internal level?...I dunno. Even with all of that though, I can't deny missing it...Even if it's only a small amount. I do miss it. I wanted to make that place something my father would be proud of you know?"

$-Her facial expression instantly had changed as her voice seemed to trail off as her attention diverted back outside towards the view of the city of Chicago.-$

"Then why not make it here? You've seen what happened... it was like greedy siblings fighting over an inheritance... well, exactly what it ended up being... but yeah.

You can accomplish that here, Candice. But you can't accomplish it without trying..."

$-As much as she wanted for her not to be...She was right. What if she just sat by and let another chance to make her father proud of her slip by? What if she did just step away, never to set foot in the business of professional wrestling again? It'd almost be like...Cheating herself out of something almost. Shortchanging herself after a year of hard work and stepping away and...No...No it'd be giving up. And she knew that to be true at this point as she glanced across the table into Amanda's eyes, seeing the seriousness in her demeanor.-$

"Maybe...Maybe you're right...But...How would we even...Start? I mean APW pretty much fell into my sisters and mines laps so...As far as starting fresh I'm really...Lost."

"We need a base of operations, and we need people to help run it. At least a General Manager... maybe someone above that as well. At the very minimum. Any ideas? Think we can find tower space here in Chicago for rent or buy?"

$-Almost not able to keep up with the thoughts already running through her head like rush hour traffic Candice responds...-$

"Ideas?...Uh...Um well not really. I'm not really big on trusting people...After this past year you know?...I ahh..."

$-Her thoughts quickly began thinking of who could possibly help them get started anew here in Chicago. And who would be willing to relocate to do so.-$

"I...I may know of a few people. I can't really be completely sure but...A few plans I had back in Toronto could possibly find their way here...If we're...Really gonna do this?"

[Amanda Wallace]

"I think we should."

She pushes around some of the remaining pasta on her plate.

"I... really haven't had contact with any of my running powers in Detroit. Only one really would be my Director of Authority, but she kinda disappeared, so yeah. As for a base of operations? I'll have to call some places tomorrow after Googling for some places, hopefully the net is already hooked up in my hotel room. But you've already got a list of people to check out for this?"

[Candice Angel]

"I have a few people in "mind" but as far as definite?...I wouldn't say that. There are some great minds we could recruit out there of course. But like I said, everyone may not want to relocate here you know. And there's one I would want on board if she wasn't such a bitch. She's good at what she does I'll admit but...She just makes you want to toss hot chicken grease on her when she opens her mouth."

;D Amanda just laughs...

"You think you're the only one that's had that problem? Lets call her up tomorrow. If people don't want to relocate, that is their problem. I know we can find some people to assist us no problem. Maybe give a few people actual managerial powers and see what they can do with that ball."


The gears in her mind definately start churning...

"Call them. We'll find out.

I'll find out about a base of operations. That is most of the battle there. We put out that we're looking for wrestlers, people will come. That's the easiest, actually... especially when we tell them if they don't like the pay, don't sign. We'll make our own stars, not hire them."

$-Nodding her head as she took in Amanda's words she leaned back, crossing her arms across herself. She had to admit she was liking the sound of this already. Not wanting to show too much excitement she replied with a stern look on her face...-$

"Alright. I'll do that then. Can't hurt I guess. And if we run into any problem children well...Let's just promise each other that as long as WE'RE on the same page that we'll find suitable replacements when needed hm?"

[Amanda Wallace]

"I'll race you to throwing them out of the door. I think we should make this official now... for real this time..."

Amanda raises her glass to Candice from across the table.

"To new beginnings?"
