It seems that we are getting alot this year or so it seems recently. The one in New Orleans which turned out to be weaker than the one from last time. Now there is Hannah which is coming by my way in Virginia. Anyone else having this hurricane coming your way? I know Ike is supposed to hit Florida soon as a Cat. 3. Josephine is still a mystery.

I live in WV, just one state over from where you live and from our weather reports. I think were supposed to just get alot of rain from it is all, nothing too significant. Since the storm is supposed to stay more to the east. I think your area may get the brunt of the winds and the rain.

Hurricanes have always been a mystery. It seems the gulf and the florida area really are the ones that get hit the most. I got my prayers for those in the New Orleans area as it pretty much turned into a tropical storm or category 1 by time it really hit land. Just that these things do happen but the good news is that at least this time around there is some positives instead of negatives.

Canada has a deal with God, we take slightly colder weather for no hurricanes, earthquakes, tornado's, monsoons or other "natural" disasters. I like the deal myself.. makes me feel safer here.
I feel bad for N.O though.. they're barely back to normal from the last one and they're getting hit again.. but what else do you expect when your city is built 10 feet below sea level

Me live in South Carolina. Hannah was expected to hit here before it turned. Which, me am glad for. But it did side swipe Myrtle Beach from what me know and our area was put on Tornado watch from that. :/
