Manor was walking down the hall. He had seen Pryce's promo and as much as he loved the guy's confidence he still obviously hadn't learned anything. Maybe Pryce would listen if they talked face to face. He walked up to Pryce's lockerroom and knocked on the door. Manor was hoping he wouldn't have to take drastic measures to teach Pryce this lesson.

Pryce was lacing up his boots. they had started hurting earlier in the ring, so he'd though he would take them off for a while. Pryce was taking no risks until the Elimination Chamber match. he hears the knocking on the door, and without looking up.

Manor opened the door and walked in. He looked at Pryce.
Caught your promo earlier. Love the confidence Pryce, but keep going with it and it's not going to end well. And to be fair. I never had it in the ring. Like I said. It's not what you do in the ring that matters, but what you do outside of it.
All I'm saying is don't make Cal's mistake. I'm loyal and all to Mayhem, but if you get too cocky I won't back down. Instead I'll put you in your place and show that even if you can beat me in the ring, you can't touch me outside of it.
Manor doesn't turn his back any amount away from Pryce as he waits for his response.

Pryce smiles. he cant believe he is talking about this.
Listen Scott, you are the closest thing i have to a mentor. but i am nothing like Cal, i don't let my ego rule me, i rule it. so i understand where you are coming from but i have to say that you have nothing to fear. i am not about to forget why i am here. i am here to fight for the right of Mayhem, to do what very few have tried to do.
Now what i said in the ring was a simple mind game. i am playing with the best GCW has to offer, and i am going in short. you are a former World Champion, in fact pretty much everybody in the match except me has been a World Champion. it puts me at a disadvantage to everybody else. so what i said was a mind game to show them that i will not let their successes be the deciding factor in the match.
Pryce stands up, but does not walk over to Scott. he does not see him a threat, but as an ally and mentor. he does not feel as if he has to stand face to face with Scott.
I meant what i said in the ring about you. i don't think your going win. i don't think you have the best chance. but then when did Scott Manor care about what people though of him. to use one of your own quotes. "Manor for World Champ? Nah, if he was he'd be expected to win and pulling an upset is much more fun" and now is your chance to do that. just cause i don't think you have a chance does not mean that you don't. Prove me wrong and win that Continental Championship. For Mayhem.

Manor lets out a chuckle. Maybe he was the one underestimating Pryce.
What can I say. An upset leaves more of an impact than a match where either person looks like they'd be the winner. Plus, their look reminds me of Cal's when he thought I pissed on the title.
Though you give me too much credit. Each of my reigns as World Champion didn't even make it past the first defense. But that's not going to stop me from dragging everyone to hell with me. And between you and me. I've got a special surprise prepared for Cal that I'm hoping is done.

it doesn't matter about retaining the title. i mean Cal almost certainly wont. its the fact you got there and took the brass ring. i mean i lost the Nationwide title after the first defense twice. once to you i recall. but that doesn't matter. the only that matters is that we go out there tonight and prove the naysayers wrong.
Pryce smiles. he liked the sound of the "Surprise"
so this surprise, is it just for Cal?

Manor can't help but laugh at Pryce's question.
Let's just say, Cal's entrance at Global Supremacy will never be forgotten. But if everything goes as planned, I think whether Cal retains or not, he should get a bottle or two.

Nice. i wont ask, spoils the surprise. but i can tell its going to be a night that nobody will ever forget.
Pryce continues to do up his boots. once he finishes he walks over to his bag and pulls out a drink. he opens it and takes a sip. he looks back to Scott.
now, i need to prepare myself mentally,so if that is all then i will see you out in the ring. sorry, but i need the preparation time, its the biggest match of my career and need to be 100% focused on winning.

Manor lets out a laugh.
Alright. I'll see you in the ring. And don't prepare too much. Don't need your mind turning to mush and you becoming like Jones.
With that Manor lets out another laugh and walks out of Pryce's lockerroom. He had to prepare too afterall.
