Cal walked out into the arena, only a few of the stage crew were there besides him, it was 3 hours before show time, he looked knowing that there would be thousands watching, wanting him to fail. To lose the championship that he had earned one month ago. Did this bother him? No it simply meant as a heel he was doing his job well. To some being hated for something you did in character bothered them, Cal chose to believe that it meant he sold his personality well so being heckled in the street was more of a complement than something to hate.
Cal watched as the stage crew finished the construction of the chamber, from the top of the ramp it was truly impressive and he wanted to see what it was like from the inside before the event tonight. Cal then looked up to the rafters and saw the Global Supremacy banner with his face on it, it was a good picture for his persona, displayed his menace. He watched as the stage crew began to walk in his direction, one by one the passed him and nodded, it seemed preferable to speech these days. The final person did however speak
"It's ready Cal, good luck tonight"
Cal and the crew member shook hands, both men knew that the crew had done their job and now it was the time for the showmen to do theirs
"Thanks, looks like a fine job"
Cal then started to walk slowly toward the chamber it's sheer size impressing him greatly, it was his first chamber match. His mentor had told him about these before but his words were that nothing can truly prepare you for it. Cal neared the entrance and he placed his hand on the steel feeling it, then he grabbed some of the chain and pulled, it had some flexibility but he knew that hitting it would be far from pleasant. Then he opened the door and slowly climbed the steps into the chamber, he looked up at the compound that tonight he would shed, blood, sweat and possibly tears in.
Cal then walked over to a chamber pod and slid the door to it open. Then he looked inside, he knew that this would be his view for a while. He placed his hand against the glass to feel its sturdiness, then he left the pod and climbed between the ropes. Cal's eyes examining all of the structure, in his mind he was going through the moves he could do, the potential match stealing high spot that could also be his downfall.
"I finally understand our fascination with man made structures"
Cal then climbs onto one of the pods, he looks down, surely this was too far from him to jump even if he was landing on something soft? Cal shook his head has he was there crouched on the top of the pod, this was going to be a fantastic match. A sense of pride was felt in his heart, surely this was the pinnacle of his career. Finally he had made it, then he thought about the other players in this game and he knew that he'd need to bring all that he had... and then some.
Cal then climbs down from the pod slowly, he looks in the arena and he spots the seat that his father would have been taking to watch the show. Just like Cal's first match he wasn't there but this time Cal knew that he wasn't ever going to come, still his father had seen him win his first championship, the No Limits belt from Memphis. He beat Cody Maddox to win it in the company's final event. Cal felt a little sad that his father wouldn't see his greatest match, that his father didn't see him reach the pinnacle of his sport, and that Cal never got the chance to take the belt to show him.
Instead he had taken it to a Buffalo cemetery to a grave and simply talked
"Dad, this one is for you"
Cal says before pointing up to the ceiling, he was sure that nobody was around. That nobody would have seen the more private side to him, Calvin Cross and not Cal Crossfire. However he wasn't alone the sound of the door opening made him aware of this...

It was none other than the man he had hit with a sledgehammer just two weeks before. Jack entered the chamber, staring straight at Cal, almost trying to read the champ. Jyndal could tell that they had an almost mutual respect for one another, but at the same time, a hatred that would come out later inside this demonic structure. Jack removes his sunglasses, looking around the chamber, astounded by it, Jack imagines himself standing in the middle, bloody and bruised, holding the Continental title. Jack then slowly begins to approach Cal, climbing between the ropes....
Well... I guess this is it, where one man will not only become champion, but they will also prove without a shadow of a doubt, that they are the top sta...no the top combatant in GCW....
Jack looks at all the thousands upon thousands of empty seats, the three seats reserved for his family, he wonders if his mother, father, and cousin are prepared for the brutality, that may spill over on to him... Jyndal then turns back to Cal...
You know, I gotta get this off my back... When me you and Steve formed Natural Selection... and we started working as a team. I saw something in you that I knew would take you to the top, and even though I was a bit manipulative, I tried to make sure you were going on the right track....I made sure you always were ready to do your job, and when you weren’t I covered for you. No offense to Toreno, But you actually were like a brother to me, I just couldn’t handle the fact that you won that belt before me, and I guess...Im....sasas....sorry....
Jack was showing his true self, not the character he had to portray, no, just the real Jack Jyndal, the man who actually does have integrity, and respect for people. Jack then sticks his hand out for a shake...
Let the best man win...

Cal takes Jack's hand and grasps it firmly
"Yeah, it seems in these matches they normally do"
Cal then looks toward where Jack's family will be seated for the PPV, his family would have probably sat in the same area. Neither Mom or Dad would be there, he knew that even if his mom were alive then she wouldn't have came to watch him do his thing. Momma Cross was never one who truly cared for her children, probably the reason why the family was so screwed up. Chelsea had practically been raised by Cal, and he needed her to depend on him. Cal liked that feeling, but as much as he tried to be a better brother something inside him just clicked and he treated her horribly
"You ever feel like you have made some bad decisions?"

*The Avenger walks in and just shakes his head.*
Hey guys yeah turn around. There you go. You know when the Avenger was walking he heard some conversation and thought the Avenger was in the wrong arena. The Avenger could of swore that what just happened was another segment for the Oprah or Dr. Phil Show. Tell me you guys didn't hug and make up? Tell me there hasn't been any second thoughts on the decisions that have gone bad? Matter of fact this is a reality show in the making. But seriously, do either of you really think you are going to walk out of here tonight with your hand and head held high?
Now Jyndal should know better to really think he has a shot of anything. The dude made the biggest mistake of all by thinking he could hang with the Avenger but a much bigger one in dropping a major title to get a small chance in winning the big prize. That is insanity as its finest. But don't worry Jyndal you showed how great of a wrestler you really were last week in your early departure and your lack luster performance against Crossfire.
*The Avenger turns to Crossfire.*
Pal the Avenger gives you credit. He is going to pat you on the back for the win over me. The Avenger ain't going to cry out blasphemy for the loss or give some ridiculous reason why the Avenger lost. You beat me and you are the champion but it will be short lived you can bet your last dollar on that one. But you see you guys come and think that you are going to walk out as the Champion but when the chips are on the line the Avenger will walk out as the man and tonight you will both see why they call the Avenger the "Hottest Commodity."
*The Avenger has an inner peace moment as he caught Jyndal and Crossfire having what seemed to be a heart to heart conversation to get their past decisions in order.*

Cal smirks the respect that was between Cal and Jack appeared to be lost on the "Avenger" seems the guy called Sebastian was buried so deep that Avenger lived the life of his persona. Seemed Avenger was experienced in this types of matches so they didn't phase him, assumed that he was probably a runaway who had spurned his family
"Funny thing Avenger you always struck me as the Jerry Springer type"
Cal spread his arms and pointed around the arena
"Take a look around there's nobody here, you can relax a little Sebastian... Yes I have made some bad decisions, though none were to do with my career. Let me ask you something do you live a normal life? I mean do you have a wife, children, do you go shopping... If yes do they call you Sebastian or The Avenger?"

Cal smiled at Shia the switch line was rather funny
"Not exactly, I just wanted to see this for the first time. You may have seen me do this before, sometimes in a quiet arena is a good time to reflect. Jack showed up then Avenger did, presumably for the same reason as me"
Cal once again looked around the chamber and the arena
"This is the first time I am standing in one of these, it'll be my biggest match by far... I know that when the crowd is here I don't show much respect to anyone. I feel I have to say that anybody who steps inside here come match time, I respect"

Well that's....good to hear. Respect is something is important in this business. More than winning titles or any of that. You could win the title, but loose so fast if you aren't acting right or do something stupid.
Shia looks up at the cage himself.
The cage is pretty huge, and look solid isn't it?
I have been in one of these before back in Atlanta, and it was brutal, but manageable. So are you excited that this is the end of the season?

"Excited? Not really I am curious as to how I will fill my time besides some independant bookings"
Cal moved toward a turnbuckle and slammed his fist into a pod, a solid steel part of it no less. Cal shook his hand a little, yes that was rather retarded
"I'm not going to lie, that hurt. Seems only a small taste of the carnage we'll cause later tonight. God I hope they enjoy seeing me suffer, I am sure they will"
Cal then laughs

Gotta love yourself a good soap opera before biggest match of your career. Best part is what you think will be the biggest match of your career usually isn't when you look back.
Manor was watching the playground be constructed from where the fans sat. He got up walked around the cage sliding his hand along it getting a feel as he did. Finally in the chamber.
People always find ways to outdo what they've done. It's like a sick fascination of people to see how much their body can take.
Manor turns to Cal.
Could be worse. You could get no response from the crowd. Or worse. You could be someone like MG or Nick Jones. Never understand the huge obsession with hip hop or giving yourself a nickname that you won't live up to.
Manor lets out a chuckle.

"Coming from the hardcore guy, I guess I am not surprised... Not that I don't want to push myself to the limit. I'd rather stay looking handsome, at least that way when all is said and done I can find a good woman and settle down... Maybe make a few movies, you know live the sweet life"
Cal then smirks before once again adopting the more serious and natural tone
"Sure one day I'd like people to say my name and have the same awe that they have when people like Flair and Bret Hart are mentioned. Sure I have a long way to go, my career is in it's infancy. All I know is tonight I promise that all give it my all tonight. If I win I win if I lose I lose. Inside this chamber I see there is no room for fear or hesitation, standing on one of those chambers I can see how it can go wrong"
Cal then leans against the ropes and notices that this gathering is only missing one player
"So all we need now is Pryce, and then the gang would be complete"

Maniac smirks.
Just because I'm always on a hardcore type show doesn't mean I haven't brushed up my technical skills. Besides, it's the truth for different reasons. Those who don't try to push themselves either physically or mentally really shouldn't be here unless they want to be broken.

As the others were speaking, Jack had been pulling on the side of the chamber, seeing if it was sturdy enough to climb....and it certainly was. Jack knew that as the high flyer in the match, he'd have to do something big... He then turns back to the others....\
I have to warn you all.... tonight, I won't be who I usually am, because right now, standing in this chamber, I can almost guarrentee you, that I will be taking a majour risk.....
Jack looks up at how high up the pods are, and a smirk crosses his face....
I mean if Manour is the hardcore one, Avenger the big guy, Cal the opportunist, Shia the unstoppable, Pryce the technician...then that means I'm the high flyer....and that may not be a good thing....
Jack looks on st the chamber, he then turns to hear wat they have to say to his comments...

A Major Risk? what do you think everybody else is doing in this structure. its an awful lot for one belt.
Pryce appeared leaning on the far chamber. he gets up and stands next to it.
a technician eh? well i am glad i fit into all of your theories, but like Jack said he will be a different man in this chamber, so will i. and i believe everybody else will to. we have all faced each other in one way or another in the past. so we have a pretty good idea on what are the weaknesses of the group. so tonight we will all go out on the same limb thinking we can become champion.
well one of us is going win. leaving 5 broken bodies in his wake. i just hope its me standing with the belt and not lying on the floor.

Manor lets out a chuckle.
Believe me it won't be five broken bodies. It'll be six. Whoever wins this match will just as broken as most of the others. This match is nothing more than about surviving. I'm sure the belt will be the last thing from anyone's mind when the pain starts setting in.
Manor smirks as he continues.
It's like a hell in a cell only worse. Steel outside the ring to slam each other on. Steel on the walls to be rammed into. And on top of that, class to be put through. You want to come out in one piece you focus less on the prize and more on surviving.
Manor turns towards Jyndal.
Hardcore? Hardly. I mean if I'm hardcore I must be the worst one seeing as weapon matches never were my thing. And Jyndal if you classify people I think you'll be in for a rude awakening.
