Best Damn Opener Ever!!! [Anyone]

Lauren is the first person out on the stage at Global Supremacy GCW's final PPV of the season, and fact she is ahead as the production team finally play her music once she reaches the ramp, she has a microphone in her hand and is slapping her people's hands as she makes her way to the squared circle. The chants for her have errupted upon the sight of the magnificant debutante, she climbs the steps and walks toward the center of the apron and teases the crowd by licking her finger then touching her butt implying that it is hot... And Do the fans agree? OF COURSE THEY DO...

"Chicago... It feels good to be back home. Back where we started, and so much has changed since we were last here. People have came and gone, and some have fallen"

Lauren mouths toward the camera "1 8 7" and the camera pans around and the crowd as they cheer and still brandish the 187 banners and signs

"Now I see people go around trashing everybody constantly and yes some punk ass bitch did that to 187 on the last Mayhem. Learn some respect because you simply aren't fit to lace the man's boots. So I am out here ready to wrestle somebody... Anybody, it doesn't matter this is the final PPV and I am here to enjoy myself and do what I love and that is entertain all of you"

Then music plays...

The ever-so-popular theme music of GCW Lock Up sensation, and the best damn technical wrestler to ever compete in a Global Championship Wrestling ring, Shelby Steele hits, and the crowd goes wild. You see, it's been over a month since we last seen Shelby Steele, and just when they thought that Shelby was nothing but an after thought, she appears from behind the curtain, complete in wrestling gear. Was Shelby Steele in a wrestling mood? You bet your ass she was.

Microphone in hand, a smirk on her face, she places a free hand on her hip as she waits for the crowd to settle down a bit. "Hello Lauren. The only time we ever faced, was in a tag-team match months ago, back when you the contender for the title that I regretfully lost just...a few months ago. So, when I came into this arena, just to be a spectator, and see the final fall-out of this GCW season, I was surprised to get handed a piece of paper from the general manger's personal assistant, Masters knowing that I didn't even have any of my gear with me. And you know what it said on that piece of paper? That tonight, opening this event, was going to be you, and me, first-time ever, in a singles match. Of course, I couldn't say no, so I scurried back home. Took the bus full of many Lauren Kennedy fans, non-of-which, actually recognized me, and got my gear." She then paused, and held up a hand, "And I have to say, that new Lauren Kennedy t-shirt that your many fans were wearing, is very, very cool, it's just really too bad that you've never won that Debutante Title where I promised Ashley that she would lose it too. And I don't like like broken promises..." She then silently laughed as she began to walk towards the ring. "So, even through our history is minimal, I'd just love to have just one more match, against you."

A smile appears on Lauren's face, she only knew that her opponent for the night was a former champion. Lauren never dreamed that it would be someone she has never faced one on one, and the reaction of the fans was simply electric. Never before had the crowd been so split in an instant, sure Lauren was GCW's Golden Girl. Lauren was quite surprised at Shelby's appearance but it was a pleasent surprise

"Yeah, umm... Sorry about that, I failed to take the title from Ashley. Though tonight I think that Jennifer well show Ashley that her time is over. Bitter much? Oh yes of course I am. However I know that we can steal the show, I never said this before but you were one of the people I looked up to when I was down at the bottom and you were the champion... So sharing this battle ground with you is an honor you may never truly understand"

That was the real women talking and not the entertainer

Harvey Bazztard looks furious as he is signalling for something to happen, but Lauren is ignoring him. Or maybe her breaking Kayfabe was getting him irrate but who knows?

Bazztard: "Damn defiance is why you never won the tit..."

Harvey is cut off before he can finish his sentance

"I don't know about that..." Shelby responds, now climbing up the ring steps, and getting herself inside the squared circle, smirk still gleaming on her face. "I've been in the ring with royalty. I've been at the bottom, and I've worked myself up to the top. I might not have many many loyal fans, in fact, I wouldn't even classify myself as neither a heel, or a face. Because you see, I did whatever Shelby Steele wanted. I wanted the Debutante title. So, I made sure that everything I did up to that point, was solely to get that gold strap, around this waist." She does the motion, as she pauses for a moment, "I'm not a role-model. Yes, I don't do all those 'extra-curricular' activities, but you'll never see me ever pose for a magazine. I'm not someone people should look up to. I held the belt for three months. From the time I won it, to the time I lost it. Three months isn't anything."

She then looks around the crowd, seeing if anyone, in any of the rows, is wearing a Shelby Steele t-shirt. She spots one, and with a gleam in her eye, pulls herself out of the ring, and leans against the barricade, asking the fan to come into the limelight. She was a scrawny girl, had thick black-rimmed glasses, two pigtails, acne that was out of control, and a nice, metal-plastered smile. She's wearing a black t-shirt, with one of Shelby's quotes from her internet blog, reading 'Shoot, Shelby has a finisher? !'

Wrapping her arm around this needless to say, excited fan, Shelby smiles. "But you see, despite my faults. Despite everything I've done, there's always someone who believes in whatever I do. Around my arm is..." she brings the microphone to the fans lips, and with a geeky smile, says her name. "Brenda. Brenda here is one of my biggest fans. In fact, judging by her astonishing t-shirt, she reads my blog - thank you by the way honey, great to know that what I do isn't worthless - and she came here, for one thing, and one thing only, and that was to see me, wrestle the best competitor in this company."

"While, it is true that you don't have any gold to prove that at the moment, and while it is true, that you've had countless shots to completely destroy Raimond, all of which, you subsequently failed, I still believe, and Brenda still believes, that standing before us, in that ring, is a bitch that's in every right, better then our idiot of a champion." Shelby laughs for a quick second, before unwrapping her wrist tape, and handing it to her beloved fan before rolling herself back into the ring. "Though, there is one thing I'm better then you at, Ms Kennedy, and that's locking in my picture-perfect version of Canada's favorite Sharpshooter."

Seemed that complement was said with some bitterness, it was to be expected from Shelby. That was her thing kind of made her lovable too not that Shelby wanted to hear that, but Shelby was honest and said what she thought

"OK, Shelby I also happen to have a blog, though mine is perhaps a little less serious than that. Thank you for the complement, though on those nights Ashley Raimond was better than me. Just like last Mayhem, Angel Storm was better than me"

Lauren starts then realized she drifted away from the topic of blogs

"Back on the topic of blogs I have one that I posted a poll this week, people have wondered if me using Kennedy as my inring name signified that I would be mocking a wrestler who hails from Green Bay Wisconsinahhh... So I setup up a poll to see if somebody wanted me to try one of his world class introductions... My fans had spoken and they said yes... So I am going to oblige for this one night only"

Lauren stands in the center of the ring and raises her hand, the lights dim and the trademark old fashioned microphone is lowered to her hand then she looks over to Shelby

"THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL..... Wait"

Lauren looks over to Shelby and mouths "one fall ok?" the crowd laugh as this looks like something Ms Kennedy had planned

AND HAS A 30 MINUTE TIME LIMIT, INTRODUCING FIRST MY OPPONENT... SHE HAILS FROM..."

Lauren pulls out a card and checks a detail and over exaggerates reading it and the surprise

"PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIAAHHH, BY WAY OF TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA... SHE WEIGHS IN AT..."

Lauren covers the microphone and asks in a totally non-discreet way

"How much do you weigh?"

The crowd begin to laugh at the shambles Lauren is making of announcing the match

"What its my first time doing it, Kay"

Shelby had her hands placed on her hips as Lauren was making her ring announcements, smiling because she couldn't do anything but. As soon as Lauren came up to the subject concerning her weight, Shelby faces grows a little red, as she walks over to Lauren, and whispers in her ear, but just loud enough that it was picked up by the nostalgic microphone, "Just prance around that little bit of information, okay? Or...by all means, just give a guess-tamation." She then walks away, and leans herself against a corner of the ring, looking like she was sucking in her stomach as she did so.

Lauren took a look at Shelby trying to guess, was rather difficult as her sucking in her stomach seemed to puff out her face. Lauren looked rather confused she mouthed some random figures before holding the microphone to her lips

Be nice Lauren

"MY OPPONENT'S WEIGHT IS CLASSIFIED... Though it's probably less than mine"

Lauren then winks at Shelby

"SHELLLLBEEEE!!! STEEEEEELLLEAAAH!!!"

The crowd begin to cheer whether it was because Lauren was half-way through the announcement or for Shelby it was unclear, Lauren smiled as she hoped it avoided further embarrassment. Once again she raised the microphone

"AND HER OPPONENT, I HAIL FROM LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA VIA RICHMOND VIRGINIAAAH!!! I WEIGH IN TONIGHT AT ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY... Wow I lost a few pounds... SORRY... I WEIGH IN TONIGHT AT ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY EIGHT POUNDS... MS KENNEDY!!!"

Lauren walks over to the turn buckle taking the same exaggerated strides as Mr Kennedy would and she climbs to the second rope, taking a dramatic pause

"KEN-UH-DEE!!!"

Lauren then climbs down from the turnbuckle and the microphone begins to retract, but Lauren hadn't let go. It whips out of her hand, the crowd wasn't sure if this was planned or not, but they all thought it was funny. Lauren didn't seem to think so, but was she acting?

"Ouch... Son of a"

[Shelby Danes]

"Whoa, we're on pay-per-view, there isn't a need to censor yourself!" Shelby Steele hollers, semi-laughing as she no longer had her microphone, the crowd responding. She claps her hands, and begins to jump in place, getting herself a little more warmed up for the upcoming match. Meshing her hands together, she leans her back against the turnbuckle, and rolls her neck. Shelby Steele was ready. Last match of the season. One month hiatus, and believing she was now mentally alright to get herself back inside the squared-circle.

Shelby then walks to the middle of the ring, and offers her hand for the Handshake of Sportsmanship, the fans suddenly divided, one half telling Lauren to not trust it, while the latter encourages. Shelby's other hand is on her hip, as she nods, does her best to look honest.

Lauren looks around, almost mimicking Hulk Hogan many years ago. Looking for the answer from the crowd of what she should do, they were divided and did that help a ditsy blonde? No it didn't

Hey I'm not ditsy

Sorry Lauren but you are... Still she was undecided on what she should do, she looked at Shelby and something didn't quite ring true. Many different scenarios could evolve, Lauren takes the women's hand and the shake and both look like great sportswomen. On the other hand Lauren could refuse and lose the respect of the fans and Shelby, then she could take her hand and receive a kick to the stomach...

Lauren took a step foward and reached for Shelby's hand...

"Now that's a good little Lauren." Shelby said, acting as if she was talking to her pet puppy, rather then a human-being. She then held up her free hand, and playfully, but disrespectfully, lightly slapped Lauren twice on the cheek. "Remind me to give you a little treat later." She then ended the handshake, and placed both hands on her hips as she gave Lauren a cool stare.

Did that just happen?

Lauren was rather miffed at that action sure it was disrespectful, but still better than being cheap shotted I guess. Lauren stood back and placed her hands on her hips, and took a deep breath. A rye smile comes across her face and she nods slightly. That was how Shelby was going to play it... No real harm done, then Lauren has a eureka moment

Really?

Yes you have them occasionally my dear, Lauren then steps to the center of the ring and holds her hand out wanting to get a real handshake

"Come on?"

Shelby gave a dumbfounded look towards the audience, not quite sure how to read this situation. "Come on?" She repeated, looking back at Lauren, then gazing down at her extended hand. "You've got to be kidd-you're serious, aren't you?" She laughed a bit as she continued to keep her hands on her hips. Then gazed back at the crowd, and locked eyes with Brenda, the fan from earlier. "Yay or nay?"

Brenda wasn't so sure herself, and was undoubtedly, still really excited with her moments from earlier, waving Shelby's wrist tape in the air.

"WELL! If I must..." she then proceeded to look like she was going to shake Lauren's hand, until she stopped in mid-motion. "Pinky promise you won't hit me." She then extended her pinky.

Lauren extends her pinky

"I promise, not until the bell rings"

Lauren had no intention of hitting her what-so-ever, far from it though she did have something in mind. Lauren tried not to giggle was doing a pretty good job of hiding it, but the hawk eyed among you knew she was hiding something

"Pinky promise then we shake, no hitting from you either"

[Shelby Danes]

"Fine, fine." Shelby said, almost sounding disappointed. After a quick linking of pinkies, Shelby let out a hefty sigh, allowing her shoulders to maybe get a little two relaxed. Her head starting to roll seemingly bored-like, really capturing that teenaged angst look that every high school teacher in the world is probably familiar with. One last sigh, and Shelby went for the bait.

Lauren opened her hand and waiting until the last second before she pulled her hand out and ran her fingers through her hair Naitch style before stylin' and profilin'

"WOOOO"

Bazztard: "Can she do that?"

Graciela: "I think she just did Harvey"

Lauren was playing to the crowd and they were loving it, seems that both competitors were sneaky...
