Miles walks dizzily into the trainer's room, before washing away most the dried-up blood on his face by dumping a bottle full of water over his head. His legs feel like Jell-o and without a moment's notice, the trainer grabs hold of Miles and takes him over to a nearby chair.Nice cut you got there, huh Miles?Miles doesn't give him the time of day, not a word. The trainer realizes that Miles wasn't in the mood. So much for making light of the situation.Okay, so let's have a look see. He slips on some latex gloves while pulling over his med-cart, which had all that he needed to get the wound clean so he could further examine it. The blood flow might indicate that he needs stitches but there's no telling how many, if at all with this crimson mask Miles had on. Ripping open some packs of gauze and then dipping them in a cup of sterilized water, the trainer begins cleaning off what Miles had left over, especially around the gash in his forehead. Once the trainer was done, he realizes that Miles was still bleeding a bit as he applies pressure over it.Hmm, guess you might need a couple of stitches there after all.The trainer then opens a drawer from his cart and pulls out a couple of butterfly closures. As Miles stares off into space, the trainer gets to work. What Miles wouldn't give for a 2000 mg aspirin right about now...
Scene ends.
