Jack stood in the doorway of GCW Cafe in Chitown, as the door was held open by a random person who was leaving. Jack gave the a stranger a nod, and made his way into the cafe. He took a seat near the window, and began to watch people walk by the cafe. It was hypnotizing.
" Can l help you sir? "
Jack couldn't hear the waitress asking him if he need anything. His attention was on the outside of the cafe. The waitress softly poked Jack's shoulder, and Jack jumped. He turned his attention to the waitress.
" You scared me there. "
Jack smiled at the waitress, as she stood there, with the note book and pen in her hands.
" You want to take my Order? "
" Yes, sir. "
" Okay then, l'll have the... "
Jack placed his nose into the menu.
" The steak, with a coffee. Ohh yeah, make the coffee black to. "
Jack placed the menu back on the table, and turned his attention to the outside once more. The waitress flipped her book closed, and made her way to the kitchen.
" Can l help you sir? "
