Sitting around backstage going over thoughts that have been circulating round his mind over the past weeks, Was it worth going out there each week pleasing the idiot fans. Its become harder an harder each passing week, Why?Maybe his mind isn't in it anymore, or his love for the sport had disappeared. Whatever it was he needed to get over it. Pulling himself up from his seated position he starts to make his way to the ring until he's interrupted.
What do you want?
James wasn't in the mood for a confrontation, not tonight

DJ: "That's beside the point. There's just some things you don't do when you're in that situation."
Ant: "Riiiight... And how would you have handled it?"
DJ: "Well... For one... Throwing a brick through his window is NOT something I would do. I mean, sheeesh... You take things waaaay too personal Ant. Way too personal."
Ant: "Maybe so, but I think he deserved it."
DJ: "Maybe so, but you're lucky I got you the hell out of there before..."
...The person... Or rather... The people who happened to interrupt him was none other than the tag team The Black Out. The two men stopped when they saw this dude walking the halls. Looking back at him and the question asked of them. DeShaun looked over at Anthony. Anthony looked over at DeShaun. Eyebrows raised as they looked back at the man in the hallway.
Ant: "Uhhh... What do we want...? Can't we just pass through here?"
DeShaun looked back at Anthony and said..
DJ: "Ant... Chill."
Then DeShaun looked back at the man...
DJ:" What's up?"

Ant: "Tch..."
DeShaun glares at Anthony. Anthony bites his tongue for the moment. Figuring he'll just let DeShaun carry on with the conversation. DeShaun turns his attention back to the man and responds...
DJ: "Why you say that? What's causing this lack of desire? Is it a losing streak or something personal you got going on in your life?"

James lets out sigh, Maybe talking about this would make him feel better
Well.....Its a couple a reasons, One being a losing streak its stupid i know we all go threw them just affects me more than others, Secondly the passing of my father doesn't help he was always getting me down about my career choice He said I'd get nowhere, Guess i cant prove him wrong now, Sounds disrespectful maybe? We never had the best of relationships. Then there's the mounting pressure of running HIS company, as his soul heir i had no choice I'm no businessman, I'm wrestler its what i was born to do. Looks like he's gonna end up being right I'm going nowhere and Fast
Anger and hatred had built up inside James, Venting his anger out on a wall by punching it leaving traces of his blood

Ant: "Of course... Especially with that attitude..."
DeShaun shoots Anthony the evil eye.
DJ: "Ant... You.."
DeShaun stopped and looked back at the man. Raising an eyebrow and nodding his head.
DJ: "Well.. Actually... I'm going to have to agree with Anthony on this one. He does have a very good point there. The losing streak thing? Yes. We all go through it. You say you go through it harder than some? Maybe it's true. Maybe it's not. You don't know that for sure. Like us? We've got one win since we've been here. We took the losses hard. Hell, we thought we sucked. Then we remember... We don't suck. We fight hard. We fight damn hard. We watched our matches and we saw that there were mistakes made. We used that information and are choosing to learn from it. We haven't got the hang of what's wrong with us just yet, but we're trying."
Ant: "Exactly."
DJ: "Your father passed away. I'm deeply saddened to hear that, I really am. I know. It's hard on people when they lose a family member. But you can't let that slow you down. You just can't. I'm sure your father wouldn't want his death to keep you from what you're doing. I know. You said you had a rocky relationship with him and all, but he was your father. He probably loved you no matter what you were doing. Regardless of whether or not, you did something he didn't like, I'm sure he had a lot of love for you in his heart. And I'm sure that he would not want his passing to keep you from moving forward in life."
Ant: "Yeah."
DJ: "And then we have the family business. What is the business exactly? And have you even tried your hand at it? And if not, how can you say that you're no businessman if you have never had tried your hand at it?"

Maybe your right it may just be an attitude....Ive always put the effort in and fight hard for what i want and in the end nothing comes of it so after every loss i think to myself why bother. Maybe my father loved me in his heart but the man never showed it wouldnt have killed him To say hey 'im proud of you' but no he never did. No matter how hard i tried to impress him, He always said i could have done better, Funny way of showing love to your only son huh?. Then we come to the business the mounting pressure of it yeah i tried my hand at it. I failed miserablely. What was once a profitable company is a shell of its former self and thats all of my doing, Should have sold it when i had the chance, Guess thats to late now. You know what the hardest thing i had to was.... I had to lay off half the workforce, I would have never though that running a company would this be difficult and stressful

Ant: "Damn. That sucks. Well... You win some. You lose some. Ya know?"
DJ: "Yeah. I guess there's not really too much you can do now about the family business. If you've already tried to do it and it didn't work out, I guess there's not much else you can do."
Ant: "Is that place still in business?"
DJ: "Yeah. Maybe you can fix it, if it's still in business."

If it were only that simple, But its not
Yeah Its still In business...barely, Hence letting go half the workforce It was difficult thing to do but drastic times call for drastic measures, It's kept the company afloat but it may be to late repair the damage done. Ive Put some of my own funds into the company, It's all a matter of time before im forced to take a cut price deal for it, If that were to happen, Who ever buys it maybe they can fix the mess i've made

Ant: "Sure. You COULD do that. You could take the easy route and sell it. Not having to deal with the business and prove once again to your father that you're not up to the challenge. You can prove to your father once again that you could have done better, but are choosing not to. You could do that."
DJ: "Then again, there's the other route you could take. You could LEARN how to build a business. You could learn how to become a business man. You could, in theory, make your father proud and show him that you can do it. All you have to do it put your mind to it. Even though you're father is not here with you in the physical form, he's here in spirit. Watching over you from up above."
Ant: "You could quit, but you could also continue to work hard at the business. Sure. You may have screwed up. But anything can be fixed. Anything. You just have to try harder and not give up and not be a quitter no matter what."
DJ: "Prove to the world and to your father that you don't quit. If the going gets tough, then the tough better get their ass going."

Thinking about what DJ and Ant Just said, It started to make sense he lets out a faint smile
Your right I could take the time to learn, Business isn't a strong point of mine so its gonna be tough, you know the saying Learn from your mistakes, Well I've made plenty of those so far. So I'm off on the right track, All i gotta to do is think where i went wrong the first time and amend that so it wont happen again, Still Its going to take a alot of work to bring the company back up to the high standards it once had. If it means i have to get my hands dirty then so be it, I'd just like to say thanks for helping clear these things its been a big help.

DJ: "No problem at all. I'd hate to see another soul grow old, miserable, and bitter cause nobody believed in them."
Ant: "And we know for a fact that you can do this. All it's going to take is some determination and hard work."
DeShaun reaches out and takes a hold of the man's hand. Giving it a firm shaking before releasing. Anthony reaches forward next and shakes the hand of the man as well.
Ant: "Anthony Porter."
DJ: "DeShaun Jones."
