CHC + Egos= Dream Match (O2 Starr)

[Avenger]

*The PPV is under way as all the hype surrounds what seems to be a loaded card. Titles galore and personas magnified. The announcement is over the PA that the World Champion has arrived has a few bones to throw. The Avenger's music hits and out walks the Avenger with the CHC over his left shoulder. He makes his mythotical walk to the ring as the fans errupt. He climbs slowly in the ring holding the title in the air. He places the title back on his left shoulder and pulls out a mic.

Well the night has come and as you can see the Avenger is once again out here speaking. And as advertised, he will defend the title that only he can carry and defeat once again someone that feels they are worthy to be in my shadow or in my spot. Now for the last two months the Avenger has said what he was going to do and pretty much that has been the case since January. The Avenger has defeated the best in the business and for a very shot time had a hiccup. But tonight the Avenger is going to be in this ring and going to show the world once again why the Avenger is the greatest showman of all time and the best wrestler that ever laced up a pair of boots.

Now for the last two months, the Avenger has defeated Toreno, Remmy, Shelby Steele, Veronica Valentine and even the adversary for the Avenger tonight in Brent Starr. Not a bad list of names the Avenger has put on his hitlist. But all in all with all they hype that occured for the last two months there is only one man at the top of the mountain and you are looking at him. Now with that said it is time to defeat the man once again that feels he should be carrying the title that is around my shoulder. Does the Avenger think he can get the job done? No! Does the Avenger think he has talent and worthy of the opportunity? Yes! But that doesn't change the fact that the Avenger will walk in as the World Champion and walk out the same way he walked in.

*The fans jump to their feet as the fan favorite has really brought some noise.*

Now the Avenger has seen who you have faced Starr in the last two shows since your loss to me at the last PPV. You defeated a man that had a better chance in an all you can eat buffet competition then a wrestling one. A man that had as much country in his jeans than cahounas. But for once, let the Avenger give you a little credit in defeating a worthy adversary in Steve Toreno so the Avenger can't say too much about that. But you see you are not wrestling Bobby Joe tonight and even though Toreno is a real good prospect and a future champion he is not the Avenger. There is only one that can be called the "Franchise." There is only one that can be called the "Hottest Commodity." And there is only one that is holding this title. And pal you got it right it is the Avenger. So tonight you want a title shot then you got it. But like my daddy always said be careful what you wish for.

Now the Avenger isn't the type of man that calls out anyone especially when he is the one carrying the gold. The Avenger would of thought you would have a little hair downstairs and came out like a man and demanded your little match. But you see the Avenger is a man that can't wait to beat you senseless again. And again it will happen. So Starr if you are in the back and the Avenger knows you are probably under the table on the cell calling up Lionheart trying to get some notes on how to defeat the champ but he is not listening or taking calls. So just come on out here and man up and lets give these fans, internet writers, and GCW what they want and that is you and me for the title. All the hype is over. The Avenger has the World Title, we got the egos and persona and it is time for Dream Match #2 to take place. The Avenger is not a patient man so why don't ya come out here Mr. Elite and lets do this thing.

Right on cue..

The music plays as he makes his way out onto the ramp with a smile on his face. Stopping at the top, holding the mic, he checks out the stage setup and notices theres nowhere to climb, or jump. So there goes that idea. He sizes up his opponent from afar, and raising the mic, speaks to him.

Ya know something, I'm not even gonna pull out the usual garbage talk for this, because it's just not worth it anymore.

I lost a close friend recently, and I realized just what is important in life, and frankly, getting myself over, isn't as important as I once used to believe. So, instead of saying what I'm going to do, or how I'm going to do it. I'm just gonna walk down this ramp, get into that ring, and let fate decide the rest. Win or lose, I'm fighting the fight of my life, and it's all for him. So, if I win and walk away with the belt, good for me. If I lose, I'll walk away with my head held high and know it just wasn't in the cards for me this time.

A calm and solemn Brent Starr stands there, already a partially defeated man. The crowd, undecided on whether this was a ploy for sympathy, or some sort of headgame he was trying to play. But Brent alone knew, in his heart of hearts, that this was going to be a hard fight before hearing the bad news, now a fight with a lifetime of memories rushing through his head.

*The Avenger looks at a man and can see himself in a sense. He knows that this match could be a dedication and a match of a lifetime. He lifts the mic back up.*

You know Starr, the Avenger had this promo already to come out and put the match over like the best in history. But the Avenger feels your pain and has walked your path. Sometimes the cards don't feel like they are in your favor and there is nothing you can do to solve such pain. The Avenger gave himself to a "Higher Power" and has never looked back. What the Avenger has gained in and out of the ring is because of Him.

Now tonight at Scars and Stripes it is about you taking your feelings and trying to come out as the winner for your lost friend. And even though that is loyal there is something not right. There is something within you that you will need to figure out. Bottom line the Avenger is giving you the match to put our careers over the top. And with that said you are going through a hell that you are going to have to solve one way or another. So tonight the Avenger says it will be you and him for the title in a HIAC match!

No need into anymore words as you said. We all know the truth and it is time that we get down to business. The Avenger vs Brent Starr for all the marbles. Just know after our match the Avenger will lend out his hand no matter the outcome. The Avenger has made this title back to what it should be. Now it is time for the two competitors to take it to the next level. You say you are fighting for your friend and your sanity. The Avenger can understand that and no matter what this match will be remembered through him and an engraving in our own careers.

Just know we are foes in this ring because we are fighting for this title but just know after our battle is over tonight it will not be in vain but be the biggest rating pull in history.

*The Avenger points at Starr and then at the sky.*

Tonight we fight one more time Starr. Don't believe all the reports. Keep your faith and your eyes open. The Avenger knows your head will be elsewhere if you are not careful. Just know that tonight the Avenger will bring his "game face". The Avenger can see your "game face" from here. Rememberance is the greatest memory. Tonight will not be anything short of that.
