Chicago...not really where Mikki wants to be again...with it's ebil snow plotting to make her cold and miserable. Mikki hated winter, she really did and it was even worse now after she had spent almost a month in paradise. Right after she got off the plane she headed back to her and Jessie's shared apartment and crashed. All the while she was wondering where her friend/lover was. Had she found someone else? Mikki didn't let herself think like that, Jessie wouldn't do that. She'd go out and look for her and just stuff to do in general in the morning.
** The next morning. **
After taking a quick shower and getting dressed, Mikki was wearing a sweater and a pair of jeans. Nothing to fancy just casual. Deciding to start at square one Mikki pulls out her cell phone and tries to give Jess a call...only to get her voice mail...which Mikki hated leaving by the way...she left a message anyway.
" Jess, it's Mik. I'm back in Chicago and was wondering where ya were. Please call me when ya get this...or come and find me. I'll probably be shopping...Got a large sum of money from my aunt Stacie & her husband. Bye. "
Hanging up her phone, Mikki heads toward the parking garage and her car so she can go splurge her money on clothes. |

It has been a few days since she was the last time in this locker room. A few days were a lot things happened, a lot of things changed. Her whole carrier was nearly over as she was brought in the hospital a few days ago … But to her own luck, Jessie was able to escape the destiny … her own fate for a few more days, weeks, months maybe.
Jessie, grabs her casual clothes, the same clothes she has arrived at the arena at the Exodus PPV before she has switched to her wrestling gear. There she also found her mobile phone …A quick look at it showed Jessie that somebody left a message for her." Jess, it's Mik. I'm back in Chicago and was wondering where ya were. Please call me when ya get this...or come and find me. I'll probably be shopping...Got a large sum of money from my aunt Stacie & her husband. Bye. "

Getting closer to her car Mikki looks around the hallways taking in the sights of the building, but not really caring...she just wanted to see Jessie again...well and shop  . She really should be training but she didn't want to quite yet. She wanted to have a couple more days of relaxation before having to jump right back into the fray of the biz.
After about five minutes of walking and elevator rides Mikki finally arrives at her car. The same 300C that Jeff gave her. She hadn't gotten rid of it yet. It was still in pristine condition, she kept it nice and clean. She wasn't just gonna ditch the car because Jeff gave it to her, she still loved the man, but she had come to grips with the fact that they were over and were never getting back together during her trip. He wouldn't want her now...she'd been with another man besides him.
Using the remote to open the door Mikki also starts it that way. She loved this car, sure it was on old ladies car but it was the nicest thing she's ever owned. Opening the driver's side door she gets in and buckles her seatbelt and backs out of her spot to go shopping and hopefully see Jess. |

Jessie walks down the street that is leading directly to the shopping centre. She is still not able to drive a car and as far as it goes for her, she also will never learn it. Driving is just way to stupid, it’s a lot better to sit on the passenger seat and sleep while the other one is driving. A lot better … Nuff Said.
Couple of minutes later she has arrived at the Centre. Its as large as she can remember and so she enters the building through the main entrance to see if Mikki might be here … or not.

Just arriving herself, Mikki parks and gets out of her car before quickly walking toward the front of the biggest department store in the mall. She had a spree planned for herself. Something she rarely ever did...but when she did it was a treat for her. When she was with Jeff it would be a treat for him too, but now he wouldn't get that benefit of it.

So many shops ... and the first one that Jessie visit is a cigarette store? The chance that she will find Mikki there is not exactly big ... you know, straight edge girl, don’t drink, don’t smoke and all this shit. As if that would kill you after all ... JB giggles by the thought as she took a cigarette out of the package ... She place it in her mouth and light it on fire with her Zippo. Then she place the Zippo and the package of cigarettes back in her pocket.
Looking around in the shopping centre, Jessie starts to enjoy her first cigarette since a couple of months. Damn, she has really missed it to smoke. Her nerves are calming down a bit as she continues to walk around in the shopping centre.

If Mikki knew that Jessie was smoking she wouldn't be happy but she wouldn't really do anything about it. Mikki wasn't one to push her new beliefs onto others. It wasn't right, it is a choice you have to make for yourself. One she made to keep from making the same relationship killing mistake she had with Jeff with anyone else.
Arriving inside the department store Mikki decides that walking around to see if Jessie had come yet was more important to her at the moment. Deciding to come back to the store later she leaves that store and walks around to try and find Jess. |

Jessie is asking herself as she continues to walk around … she has already finished her cigarette … which was something she really needed after all this shit that has just happened to her in the last couple of weeks … and to be honest smoking is surly not that what will kill her. She giggles again by that thought and walks in the direction of the biggest department store … maybe she will find Mikki there. Who knows?

Walking out of the department store Mikki looks around for Jessie for a couple of seconds before seeing her walking toward the store she was just walking out of. She was a sight for sore eyes, Mikki wasn't what you would call a lesbian but she did have strong feelings for Jessie. Why? Well...she couldn't tell you, it might have something to do with the fact that she also knew how it felt to be heavily judged and that she was the first person to open up to her in Detroit. It could be just that..it could be that Mikki found Jessie attractive...which...most others didn't. Who really cares though?
Seeing her friend Mikki gets excited and runs toward her almost knocking several people over in the process. She really didn't care about that though, she had missed Jess.
When she gets to her Mikki wraps her arms around her in a hug and without thinking about it places a kiss on her lips...pressing maybe a little too hard into it. |

Jessie was caught of guard as suddenly somebody was flying in her arms, the person gives her a hug and before she could do anything else … some soft lips were places on her own … her eyes opens widely and then she recognize from one second to the other who the person was who has just jumped at her. It was Mikki … Jessie wraps her arms around her and lift her a bit up, her lips meet with hers as she kiss her with a lot of passion. The kiss seam to last an eternity before the girls part their lips who have appeared to be melted to one. A smile appears on Jessie’s face as she looks down at Mikki.

Glad to have Jessie in her arms again Mikki smiles brightly and responds.
" Hi yourself beautiful."
Yes Mikki called her beautiful. That's really how she felt Jessie looked...at least to her. Kissing her again but with a short passionate one Mikki continues.
" I'm so sorry for leaving you Jessie...I just had to get away to clear my head...I didn't mean to hurt you if I did. Kevin gave me a ticket for a three week Hawaiian vacation...I know I should have told you but it was a last minute thing. I didn't mean to make it seem like I was trying to leave you. I used this to clear my head and get over the break up with Jeff...I was still hurting over that. I'm not anymore though...I'm focused on the two most important things to me right now...you and my career... " |

Its ok Mikki. Everybody needs a timeout from time to time to just relax and think about the things that are important for the person. It is just so good to see you again, I was really worried that you have left me … I know I can be a bit difficult from time to time … so I was really scared that exactly this happened that you get bored of me and my mood swings.
She wraps her arms around Mikki and holds her tight, not caring what the people might think that are passing by.
And I think now that you are back … we need to get to know each other again from new … maybe starting with that very soon …
She leans forward again and kiss her deeply once again.
