Nearly a month had passed since the fateful day, the sweet embrace of death giving her no comfort, in fact, releasing her. Her savior? Was the devil himself... in the eyes of the unthinking majority. It was HE who kept her cold heart beating, it is HE who kept the air in her lungs, it is HE... that made her conscious. That gave her the help that the one known as Valkez had offered his hand to, a hand that Lacey had willingly grasped, praying to lead to the better things she was promised. A hand that was taken away, leaving her to plummet into the depths of her soul, devoured by its demons.
She was in the depths, the very ashes of her own prison, and she was saved, placed by HIM on the pedestal HE proclaimed that she should be. In short? HE was her savior, her Lord, and she? HIS soldier. She'd die for what HE stands for.
Standing in HIS building, in her own given, luxurious suite, she watches out the spacious window, dressed in a glamorous, sparkling black dress, her long, black hair tied back, the dark make-up much lighter than those that may have seen her before. The taste of the scotch in her glass touches her lips, before the glass is returned in front of her chest, her weight shifted onto a single leg in the heeled shoes gracing her feet. She, was expecting HIM. |

+A rather determined rate of advancement down the hallways of his facilities carried him closer and closer to the scheduled counsel he sought with his most recent of..."Pet projects". The entire corridor seemed cold...Desolate...Abandoned almost, as the sounds of his shoes, coupled with those of his accompanying assistant close behind seemed to be the only things in audible range as they grew closer and closer by the second.+
+The words being spoken from the mouth of the man accompanying him were all merely an afterthought at this point in time...He was seemingly swiftly approaching one of his more sought out goals once more...For he had found yet another creature of misfortune and torment it seemed. Yet another in need of a...A God to call her own. Perhaps she could be...The one...A true prototype if you will. One that would succumb to his will and desires, as well as answer to him and only him...Her lord and savior...+
+His steps immediately come to a halt, his right hand raising towards the door before him where he knew she was awaiting his arrival. The slightest of hand movements, alerting his latest project of his arrival, as the opposite raised in conjunction with his assistants words from a few feet behind, finally dismissing him for the time being.+
"That will be all thank you sir. I wish to speak privately with her if you will. You are dismissed.
+No words spoken from the assistant as his footsteps could be heard scurrying down the hall from which they both had traveled. He watched intently from afar, before turning his attention back towards the door, extending his hand towards the doorknob and turning slowly. Seconds later, he entered, his gaze immediately locking with hers as that devious smile returned to his face once again at the very sight of her...+ |

Her cold blue eyes light up at the sight of HIM entering HIS massive frame into her suite of the building, her lips curled into a smile. She set her drink down on the nearby table, brushing down the sides of her dress before folding her hands in front of her hips, standing at attention for HIM.
"I've been expecting you, sir..."

+Oh what a lovely sight she was to his eyes. She was his newest that would be categorized as his "chosen"...Perhaps the closest he would ever come to acquiring that often sought "child" he fought diligently to obtain for literally decades of his life. She...Was his new "favorite", the smile on his face cementing that fact as he approached her slowly, his arms placed slowly behind his back as he arrived but a mere few feet away from the very spot where she stood, welcoming her "Lord".+
"Yes...Yes Lacey...You look absolutely graceful...Elegant. Alive..."
+His steps continued on, circling her as she stood motionless. Obviously she was awaiting his next words...His eyes intently scanned her person as his slow steps surveying his new "favorite" continued on...+
"Simply...Amazing...Amazing...You should be grateful my dear. Not many are as strong as yourself to survive what you have had to endure in...Mind...As well as spirit. I have...Enormous plans for you Lacey. That is...If you believe you are ready to receive the gifts of near immortality I am prepared to bestow upon you?..." |

She briskly nods her head in his presence, her eyes meeting his again. Immortality? Weeks ago, immediate mortality was the forefront of her mind. Now? She had purpose, she had release...
And now, now it was time to, repay? No, it was time to serve...

+Yes...Yes sir... So compliant she was with his wishes. So willing to give herself. The sinister smile upon his face only grew in size as his slow surveying of the young woman before him continued on, his words never ceasing to bless her ears as his next words came...+
"Oh I certainly pray that you are my dear. I pray that...You truly are. I initially thought that another was to be what I've so desperately sought to create. To create in the image of what I believe every individual who is to serve the coming new God, should be at it's very essence...It's very core...I urge you to come to grips that life as you have known it thus far, will cease to exist of even be a distant memory Lacey. For this is a new day that dawns upon us. The time for evolution of an enormous magnitude is upon us. And you my child...Will be perhaps the most important of those who will assist me in acquiring the God status...I've sought for so long...And so much deserve to obtain." |

+His steps finally come to a stop...Directly in front of her as he gazes back into her eyes...Stepping forward to her, his arms and hands extend towards her face, ever so gently taking her face into his grasps as he spoke...+
"...Then all is conjunction..."
+Immediately the doors to the secluded room slide open, as an almost stampede of footsteps could be heard entering the room at a swift rate. Dozens of men and women, all seemingly equipped with what would seem similar to those a biohazard team would require. He could see the look of confusion in her eyes instantly, her eyes darting back and forth between the people seemingly rushing the room in seconds...Smiling that devious smile of his once again...He spoke his last words to her on this evening...+
"Now my child...Relinquish yourself...Unto me..."
+And then...+
...Darkness....
