Miles wasn't expecting this to be as hard as it was. The two would trade blows, back and forth. The two would go maneuver for maneuver. Miles made it clear that he needed to ground this overgrown rockstar wannabe if he wanted to win this. He could only be defensive in his game plan for so long before he needed to deliver that high impact offensive of his. But it took ingenuity, that quick on his feet mentality Miles is known for to pick up the upset? People could call it that if they want, since Miles technically is new to the sport, but on a grander stage that is. First time he's been featured on a nationally televised pay per view, and he didn't let anyone see him sweat it.
Let's get back to the upset? though. The Rockstar went all "I'm gonna PUMP you up" for a few seconds, to which Miles took quick notice to and it was time to strike. While he feigned being knocked out, he springs forward, catching the Rockstar in a bridged pinning predicament. The ref leaps forward to see if Blair's shoulders are both down. He starts the count and before you know it, it's all over. Those near ringside are still blinking, wondering what the heck just happened. Blair stands up, looking around like an idiot, the shock evident across his face. Miles jumps quickly on his feet, and rolls out of the ring. He had enough for one night. The ref follows him outside and raises Miles' arm in victory.
With a smile that stretches from ear to ear, he waves at Blair while Miles taps the side of his head, showing him that he outsmarted the Rockstar. Well, rockstar are never known to be all that smart but you get the point. Miles gets a mix reaction from the crowd, mostly the female demographic giving him a few calls. Not his fault that he was blessed with these boyish featured good looks. One thing was certain though, Miles had hit the big time, the prime time, and tonight it's FINE time. With a win under his belt, surely great enough to impress the higher-ups, it's time to celebrate and think of a way to get some gold on that belt... *Wink*
Making his way around the ring, still eyeing Blair, Miles backtracks up the ramp and through the curtains. There's still more to see tonight.
