Continental Tournament. (o2 Bloom then reactions)

The firework that opens the show of the “Rumble from down Under” PPV fades off, as the noise of the explosions was replaced with the familiar tunes from the song “Downfall” which is performed by Trust Company. It’s the entrance music of the General Manager from Lock UP!, Kimberly Masters. The GM walks out on the stage, … a smile appears on her face as she takes a look around on top of the stage. Looking at the fans in the sold out arena … what a nice day to destroy some hopes and dreams of some of her wrestlers … not to speak of that from the fans as well. The smile grows bigger as she continues her way down to the ring … Kimberly walks up the steel stairs and enters the ring over the 2nd rope … showing of some skin … as her nice mini skirt … moves maybe a bit to far up … Something Kim quickly correct with her hands after she has entered the ring. The ring announcer walks up to Kim and hands a microphone over to her …

Hello everybody … welcome to RUMBLE FROM DOWN UNDER.

Loud cheers can be heard as the fans start to cheer for the GM of Lock UP!

Please, please … calm down a bit. I am here to make an huge announcement concerning the Continental Championship. But before I reveal the decision that the management of GCW has made concerning the title I want to give you all a small and quick briefing of what happened and why we tonight a tournament takes place to crown a new champion.

Last month, after a successful title defensive … the last Continental Champion Genesis decided that his time in the squared circle has come to an end as he has announced his retirement from this sport just a few days later. Since this day, we … the GM of each brand has allowed their wrestlers to speak free … about the situation at hand … and more important to show the management that they have what it takes to be the NEXT CHAMP.

Which brings me to today … but before I will explain the rules of the tournament and who will be a part of it … I want to invite my fellow GM of MayheM to come down to the ring and join me for this … announcement. So big up yourself for Miss Bloom …

Kimberly points in the direction of the entrance stage as the entrance music from Miss Bloom hits the PA system.

With her closest friend underneath her arm, Bloom and Roxanne grace their way towards the wrestling ring, smiles on their faces as the crowd cheers for their beloved MayheM General Manager. This wasn't the only announcement she had to do tonight, the first of two. Letting Roxanne on the floor, allowing her to jump up the steps very cutely, Vanessa follows suit, wearing a very professional business attire, her pants giving her a slender figure.

Upon getting into the ring, her theme music dies down as she is handed a microphone from a nearby referee, as Roxanne sits next to her feet, and sits down happily, wagging her tail.

"Thank for you the introduction Miss Masters, it's always a pleasure." She slightly bows before turning her attention towards the camera, giving it a smirk. "As you are well aware, tonight we have a tournament for the GCW Continental Heavyweight Championship, and throughout the month, all of you have heard the promos, have heard the hype, and heard the hearts of our entire male roster back stage as they try and sell themselves to become the next champion. But unknown to all of you, and the wrestlers back stage, you are all unaware of who actually is going to take place in this eight-man tournament." She then pauses as Roxanne barks happily, now standing on all fours as it looks like there's a pocket in the doggy sweater she's wearing, bearing an envelope. "Thank you Roxy," Vanessa replies, bending down to grab the envelope from the sole back pocket on Roxanne's sweater. "In this envelope bares the eight names who will be taking part in the tournament. Four from MayheM, and four from LockUP, respectively. Each name we are about to announce, has claimed their wanting to be become the next GCW Champion, and after discussing this with Miss Masters for the last month, we are sure this will give you a divine taste our GCW talent." She then walks over to Kimberly Masters, and hands her the envelop, "If you will do the honors for your brand Miss Masters."

Of course I will, Miss Bloom.

Kimberly answers and takes the little envelop from Miss Bloom’s hand. Kim nods with her head and unrolls the envelop … 8 names are written on it … 4 wrestlers from each brand … but only 1 of them can be the next Continental Champion, just one … Who these 4 individuals are that are representing Lock UP …you will find out right now, as Kim is taking a last look at the envelop before she raise the microphone back to her mouth.

It was really a hard decision for both of us to find the right … the wrestlers with the most potential to fill the empty spot that has been left since Genesis has retired. We where searching for wrestlers with a lot of potential … if it’s the wrestling skills that they posses or if it is the skills on the microphone that they call their own. We were searching for the total package … so I just want to say this to the guys in the back who didn’t got the chance to be a part of this tournament. Don’t be sad, your time will come … and believe me it was a very hard decision for us.

So without further ado … I want to announce the names of the wrestlers from the Lock UP! roster who will be part of the tournament for the Continental Championship. The following 4 wrestlers will get a chance tonight to become the best …the new champ.

The first wrestler who get chosen by myself to be a part of the tournament is nobody else as the Icon … A former Continental Champion … the AVENGER.

Loud cheers can be heard as the fans jump to their feet’s as they just witness as one of their favourite wrestlers got the opportunity to be a part of this great match ….

The second pick wasn’t an easy one as well. It was hard to decide who it should be … but after a lot of talking and watching videos of this young wrestler, the decision wasn’t as hard as it appeared in the first place. The wrestler who will claim the second spot in this tournament his own … is … Jin Remmy.

Loud cheers appear in the arena once again ….

The 3rd and the 4th spot in the tournament are going to team mates. As you all know there is no I in the word Team … but tonight one of them may have the chance to learn a new word … this word is victory … tonight these two young and very talented gentlemen will get their chance to become the best … in this business. But the question is … what will they do if they should face each other in the first round of the tournament … if they are facing each other. Will it be a friendly encounder or … the end of their friendship and partnership. The two gentlemen I am talking about are nobody else as one of the most successful tag teams in the short history of GCW. I am talking about Jack Jyndal and Steve Toreno … Congratulation you two gentlemen.

Loud boo can be heard, as the fans are not really happy about this decision. They rather wanted to see another one of their favourites in the match … but instead they got Jyndal and Toreno …Kim smiles and offers the envelop back to Miss Bloom.

It is your turn now Miss Bloom.

Roxanne barks from excitement as Vanessa gets handed the document Kimberly Masters was just holding. The crowd full of anticipation as Vanessa clears her throat before continuing. "Great line-up on the LockUP side of things, I do have to say Miss Masters. Nevertheless, I suppose it's my turn to continue." Adjusting the glasses on her nose, she looks down at the piece of paper, smiling. "First person representing MayheM for the tournament is...James "Diamond" Hunter."

The crowd reacts positively, as the camera zooms in on a James Hunter sign.A sample of his theme music echoing through the arena as his picture jumps onto the titantron. Vanessa smiling, nods as she hears the crowd's reaction. "This next person is rather mysterious, rather unorthodox, and I've actually caught him talking to himself a time or two, the second person representing MayheM is none other then Logan Steel."

What? Logan Steel? The crowd unsure of how to respond to such a name, remains somewhat torn on rather or not they should cheer for him. He was strange, and he did seem to not complete by quite all...there. As with Steel, a sample of his theme music is played as his picture appears on the titantron. "Okay, don't you all cheer for him at once now," Vanessa responds, as Roxanne barks approvingly before Vanessa brings the paper back within seeing range. "You know, there was always one word I never really understood the use of. I mean, it's only a glorified typo, people should just say the actual word. The third person perhaps OWNING," she stuck her tongue out for a second before continuing, she loved correcting people's mistakes, "the competition tonight, is none other then Brent Starr "

The entire crowd simultaneously erupted in chaos, as the majority of the crowd began to display their hatred for this competitor. So much, that you could hardly his theme music playing as the behind-the-scenes crew displayed his image on the titantron. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Vanessa replies, "But I'm not done yet, we still have one more competitor, so hush," it took a while, but the crowd eventually subsided. "Thank you." She then lets out a sigh before continuing. "There's always one song that plays that just urges me to get up, and begin punching an imaginary Clubber Lang. It's just so catchy, and just happens to be the theme music of one our finest superstars. Certainly frostastic, the last competitor representing MayheM in the CHC tournament is "The Marvelous" Joe Bruiser!"

The crowd, which was once filled with unsatisfactory curses, is now screaming of approval as their savior's name gets announced throughout the crowd. His music playing, and his picture going up on the screen, the crowd is suddenly a sea of red as people put on the wigs, bobbling their heads. "Well, isn't that something?" Vanessa responds, as she gives a look towards Miss Masters. "Now Kimberly, I believe there's a certain order in which each our competitors will be facing each other tonight, if you will fill them in on this wonderful bit of news?"

Sure, why not.

Kimberly answers and turns a bit to the side, so that the camera man in front of her, has a good view at her. Nothing more important as to look good on TV. She smiles and raise the microphone once again.

The tournament that will take place here tonight will be happening the following way. 4 wrestlers of each brand will face of against each other in eliminating matches. Which means … if you win the match you will advance to the next round … the winner of each brand … will face of against each other later in the main even in one on one action to determent the new Continental Champion.

The following match pairing will happen tonight.

The first clash of the titans, so to speak will happen between the man known as Logan Steel and the PAWNDozer himself … Brent Starr.

The second pairing on MayheM’s side will put The Marvelous Joe Bruiser against … James Hunter.

On Lock UP!’s side we will witness the following match pairings.

Jack Jyndal will take on Jin Remmy in one on one action. Which move will prove itself stronger … the GTS or the DVD … you will find out later tonight.

The last match of the first round of the tournament will be between the former Continental Champion, the Avenger and Steve Toreno.

As you can see … an excitement tournament lays in front of us. SO without further ado … let the games begin, wouldn’t you agree Miss Bloom?

Vanessa nods, "Certainly. I wish all of you the best of luck."

The scene then fades, as a backstage camera crew begins scurrying backstage to find some aftermath reactions.

"Starr! How fitting that we should finally meet in the ring one on one after all of his talking!"

Logan nods in aproval not only to his inclusion in the tournament but his chosen opponent, clash of the titans was right it was surely a matter of time before these two met in the ring in such an important match up. Logan turns and walks toward his locker and opens it, inside is a picture of his daughter

"For you my dear... and wherever he is Matthew?"

Logan then slams the locker and leaves the room...

[James Hunter]

James smiles, He got in the tournament and now he faces an old "friend", He was a little shocked to say the least. This will be very interesting.

So we finally meet again Joe, I guess the past seems has caught up with me, He'd better be ready, There's more at tsake since our last encounter.

This match could be explosive, Both men dislike each other it all stems back to toronto. Both men know what each are capable of thats what makes this interesting

[Steve Toreno]

Toreno looks on in amazement. he is in the tournament, he now has the chance to be the Continental Champion. but the first man that is in his way is the returning Avenger. Toreno smiles.

[glow=red,2,300]well out of all of the Lockup stars i get the hardest match ha. well when i beat the Avenger then i will be the guy who has beaten the former Champion to become the future Champion. Sorry jack its just business, as i am sure you see it in the same way. And Avenger,say goodbye to what was once yours, as it is now mine.[/glow]

Toreno then steps away from the TV he was watching the announcement on, he is ow going to get ready for his big match.

But beforSteve can get far, Jack walks up, Natural Selection shirt on, and in ring gear. A tense moment follows the encounter, as the two men stare eachother down. A moment later, Jack nods and sticks out his hand.

Let the better man win.

Jack then waits for Steve to shake his hand...

[Avenger]

*The Avenger is in the back as the announcement is made and ponders to himself about the night.*

Tonight the Avenger gets an old acquaintance. Should be klasique. No mystery that the Avenger's name was called. The Avenger might as well get ready and put the "game face" on.

*The Avenger gets "pumped" to go out there and do his thing. He looks in the mirror and punches it, shattering it to the floor. He walks out.*

Joe sits on his couch in his locker room as he watched the announcement. Once it is over he smiles...

This is all about the Continental Title my friend, this ain't no hay ride during the county fair. No no, this is the real deal. I will be giving it EVERYTHING to win this title. Joe stops laughing and changes the channel.
