BUMPHF!
Was the only sound that echoed throughout the arena as Addison landed her "BTWJWFD", aka, that classic Gory Bomb maneuver, to her ever-so-obedient daughter, and best friend, Cosette Grace, which literally knocked the wind out of her, just enough so that the referee determined the match was over, and done.
Taking a moment to celebrate, her music finally dies down, and she looks down at a presumingly knocked out Cosette. Innocently shrugging towards the camera, she gets on her knees near Cosette's head, and lingers over her; her hair falling freely towards her lovable daughter. "Cosette...Cosette," she playfully calls out as she pretends to knock on her skull, "Is anyone hoooooome~?" No answer, and Addison made a frowny face towards the camera. She then sits on her butt, and folds her legs so their in a criss-cross-applesauce sort of style. Grabbing her feet, she begins to rock and forth, continuing to call out Cosette's name. "COSETTEEE, COSETTEEE~"

No, as of right now there was no one home. Cosette was flat on her back just taking a minute to reorient herself.
She remembered bits and pieces. Her ankle almost being snapped. Duels with various objects. And a strange compulsion she developed to light things on fire. If she had to take a wild guess she'd say she lost based on her position and the fact that her head was ringing and she'd started hearing things.
Like a voice calling her name over and over again.
She opens her eyes and sits up a little too fast causing a lovely little head rush and she looks over to see her friend Addison sitting there.
Addison?
...what just happened?

"You tripped silly, don't you remember?" She playfully sticks her tongue out as she scoots herself over to the disorientated Cosette, and places her hands on her shoulders, "But you have nothing worry about, I kicked Mr. Rake after he tripped you, to teach him a well-deserved lesson." She then places her hands on her hips, and looks up high, as if she was impersonating someone's mother, "As mommy always says, 'the heart to a child's obedience, is a nice bowl of physical punishment.'"

Thank you. But still I must have looked so stupid falling over like that.
Something didn't add up here, but right now she didn't have the ability to process it all.
Did I trip off the rafters? The way I feel now I think I might have learned a lesson too. We were having fun right?

"Oh yes! Lots and lots of fun!" Addison screams enthusiastically as she jumps back up to her feet, and invites Cosette to do the same, "We played tea-party, that's why there's a bent chair right there. We played make a doggy house, and put it on fire, that's why there's burnt wood on the floor...hehehe, we even played Chutes and Ladders!"

I think I remember now. That must be why I pulled that out. And those are really the only explanations that make any sense.
Although I don't know why we'd want to burn the doghouse down. It just feels wrong somehow. I mean what did we think would happen to the dog? Never mind that.
Cosette uses the ropes to prop herself up and makes it up as well.
I guess things must have gotten a little rough too. Guess we'll have to watch it next time. I'm sure mother wouldn't like us getting hurt out here. .

"Which is why I have an interesting proposal dear," a voice rings out, as Addison quickly covers her mouth, surprised. "That, that, that wasn't me." She nervously laughs as she punches herself in the head, "The excitement just got back to me is all, I mean, it's been a looooong time since we last played together, I mean-Cosette honey, we work so well in the ring together, but of course, that is of no surprise, I did take a part in, well...making you." Her persona had completely changed. Looking up towards her hair, Addison adjusted her headband, ever so slightly before adjusting her wrinkled skirt and shirt before continuing, "You do know that I love you, right pumpkin? And you do know that I'll do anything for you in order to further your success, not only relationship-wise, but career wise as well?" Not waiting for answer, Addison gives herself a laugh, "Of course you know this, I am your mother after all, and as such, I care about such things. I can't have you running off to Japan to watch sumo wrestling with a person who can't even talk to a woman without his sister, heck, and I simply can't allow you to face someone who've you lost twice two, rather brutally I might add, again. Which is why, dear, I have arranged for us to be GCW's next World Class Tag Team Champions." Wait, what?

Well first of all I have no idea what you're talking about. None of that sounds like anything I'd even dream of doing. Honestly mother, you have an overactive imagination. Next you'll be telling me I've run afoul of your shifty lesbian gambler ex. Where do you get these ideas?
And normally when you go ahead and make these major life decisions for me without even asking I hate it. And let me just say thank you AGAIN for summer in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Much more fun than going out with my friends.
Big eye roll. Still though Addison's other idea was actually, gasp, palatable.
But I have to say that winning the tag team titles would actually do quite a bit for us here, as I think some people just don't understand our ways. Regardless of our differences I have to say that no one here knows us like we know each other and if we can keep the dysfunction to a bare minimum we might actually have a shot at this.

Having a lesbian phase, as if that something like that would ever happen in Addison's life. She had to give her daughter a good example, and such shenanigans would have done quite the opposite, and even if she were to be somewhat forced to partake into such events, she would be SURE to not let word of it come to her lovely daughter. Such an imagination, takes after her mother. What grace.
Nodding her head in approval, she walks over to Cosette, and links their arms together, "We're simply perfect. We know our strengths, our weakness, our darkest secrets...nothing will ever become between us, and that honey, is why we have an advantage over the rest of the competition. They're friends, brothers, or merely colleagues. We, we're mother-and-daughter! We share a bond no one else shares within this company, and that no one else can take away." She then looks away, "And besides, it allows me to keep a better eye on you." Getting her enthusiasm back, "So yes! Of course we have a shot at this. Some people in the audience, and the millions watching at home, are probably thinking, 'why didn't they think of this sooner? It's simply strategic, and makes perfect sense!' And they'll love us! So much, you won't even need the company of a dim-witted boyfriend to keep you busy."

Come on Cosette, force it out.
right. I still hate saying that too much. I feel it encourages you but I think this is worth it. This is perfect. I'm sure we've already set all of the tag teams around here on their toes just by announcing this. And I think we have just the right contrast of skills. I just hope you'll focus more on taking down all our opponents than watching and critiquing me. Well, we're both professionals.
She puts her hand on her head and looks a little woozy.
I think I'd better lie down. I don't feel right. For some reason this actually sounds enjoyable. And these visions of me wearing tag team gold are just too much to take.
Well, I guess this means the rest of the division has been warned doesn't it?

"I'm so sorry, I never meant to hit you that hard," Addison replies, touching Cosette's forehead with the back of her hand as she unlinks their arms together. "And you really do need some rest, your forehead is just scorching." Placing herself under Cosette's arm, so she could help Cosette leave the ring, and up the entrance ramp, she gave an evil smirk to the camera. Those tag titles were going to be their's, it was only a matter of time. Anderson and McShaw best not defy the wishes of their mother.
