We are comin' (Tag Champs!)

So far they are 3, and 1. Not a bad record in their book. Why not go even further, and give the Tag Champs a buzz.

Its been on their minds since their last match. Although it was a lost, its not like they lost just against any. The first ever tag champs of GCW.

It was a learning experience, and just move on from there. One loss wasn't going to distract their plans of being GCW tag champions!

Heading in the ring, microphones in hand. Let the words flow....

"Looks like the "Danger Zone" is upon us tonight. The lights are shinning on all who come out here tonight."

"Very true. You see, we are some of the guys in the back who are looking to be putting on a show that no one will ever forget!

Know why? Because everytime we step in this ring, the stakes go higher, the highlight reel comes into affect, and we usually have our hands raised.

Its not cockyness, but just fact!"

"Which means with that point coming across, we have an idea of how to even more "raising the stakes!"

We do have tag champions back there, and all. We haven't seen much of them in the ring wrestling ring anyways. We have heard that they been here, and there with their girlfriends, and etc. We can respect having gals, and a personal life, hell we got wifes back at home. Those tag titles should be defended though. Not waiting in the back ya know, and letting is pass by with your personal problems. Tonight is your night going up against a true test of skill, intelligence, and a focus that only some can grasp."


"So what do you say "Champs!" You up for a match, and putting those tag titles on the line!?"

Sorry to deceive you, and make you think you were getting the tag champs out here to accept your blatantly lousy challenge, but theres a little something called "THE ORDER" that runs this company, and we've decided, your not in line proper, to get a title shot. infact, your not worth the time or effort to GRANT a title shot until you can compete and defeat, me and my partner.

..some cheers from the crowd, but not as many as usual for a Brent Starr segment..

Yeah Yeah, I know, I know. We didn't exactly live up to our own standards or words against Steel and The Pretender. But, what do you expect when 2 clean cut, clear and effectitve WRESTLERS walk to the ring expecting a wrestling match, only to come face to face with two bitches hiding behind chairs, 2x4's and sledgehammers.

What were we supposed to do, let them beat us to death? No, so we stooped to their low level of unprofessionalism, and went toe to toe with them, weapon against weapon, shot for shot. Eventually someone had to fall down for a few seconds, and thats what happened to Lionheart. No big deal though, he was pinned, not me. I've never been pinned in a tag team match, not for the decisive victory, or in an even 2 on 2 tag format match. Because I, first and formost, am a wrestler, an accomplished one at that, and I am pure bred champion, with or without belts.

So that brings me to this. The tag champs, they can fight you if they want, and dodge 2 legends of this sport and show how cowardly they are.
OR
They can force you guys to fight us, and if you get a clear win, then they'll fight you two.
OR
They could dismiss you guys as the ring rats you are and fight a REAL tag team instead, to defend those belts and try to prove they are the best team in wrestling today.

By this time, Brent is halfway down the ramp towards the ring when...

"Let me get this straight Starr. You don't see us as proper championship contender material because you say so? Oh right because "The Order" doesn't think so huh. Speaking as like "The Order" matters around here. Boy when will these old living in the past Legends from other companies ever learn!

Starr you used to matter seems like once upon a time ago. Your time has been gone, and new faces have arrived. Obviously you haven't noticed that while you were off somewhere doing nothing for this company except sitting on the sidelines, we were putting in the work, and beating some of the well known wrestlers like Jin Remmy, and Dustin James. Nicole Storm, and Joe Bruiser just to name a couple teams.."

"We have no problem kicking your ass, and your bitch boy Lionheart just to prove a point that do indeed deserve shots at the tag titles.

This ain't Atlanta or any other former place in the past, you both need to snap out of this little fantasy world, and realize that who's opening eyes. Not just buying acting like little boys with dumb childest insults, but actually getting the job done in the ring. Not think you deserve title shots because you are better somewhere else. You got like one tag match as a team, and you lost!

Usually people get shots by winning. Ever thought of that is that big ego sized head clowding your judgement that badly that you have become blind!

By the way, where is Bitch boy at huh? Do you all the talking for that that has been or what? Are you the talkative one in the relationship? You talk, and then you go do what you do behind the camera's eyes, and then he comes once the bell rings? Not matter. You aren't getting in the way of us going for those titles. Bottom line."

[Jacob Cruise]

Cruise is standing just behind the backstage curtain. Watching the events unfolding in the ring on a small monitor. He is pacing, obviously nervous about something...

"Damn it! Where is Cam? His ass better show up soon....I'm not defending these tag titles by myself...."

Cruise continues to pace...waiting for any sign of Cam....anywhere....

"I'm going on the alcohol run next time....And he better have that damn whiskey too...Bastard....

"Just as I thought. No brains, and don't know what your bitch boy is at huh. That's fine Brent. We do have important business to attend to."

"Yep sure so if the tag champs would like to show up for Paperview. Now would be good as ever time to!"

[Jacob Cruise]

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Play my fuggin' music!"

A few equipment crates sit next to Cruise. With complete ease, he pushes them over in a fit of rage. He then goes on to grab a trash can and toss it a good seven or eight feet behind him. His face is flushed as his music begins to play over the sound system. Taking in a deep breathe, he heads in the direction of the curtain.

His tag title draped over his shoulder, Cruise slowly emerges from behind the backstage curtain. With a microphone already in hand, he merely stands on the stage. The fans cheer him on...

"Well, with my partner no where in sight...it appears I'm on my own...again. I'm sure he'll be here in time for our match...well, at least he better be...."

Cruise begins to pace the stage. Taking in deep breathes throughout the process.

"So.....this leaves the burden on me...Yes, of course...good ole' Jacob has to come out here and play the bad guy. That is, telling one of you that you got the shot...and telling the other to step the hell off.....So, I ask...how to do this?"

Cruise stops pacing and now locks his eyes on the men in the ring...

"Do I just straight come out and say....Starr, your a washed up piece of crap who doesn't deserve a title shot and your partner is even more worthless? Or, do I open with a line about how I already broke Lion-o's face once...so please don't make me have to do it again...oooooooor.....Do I say that wasting time with those two homosexual freakshows in the ring is completely idiotic and would only degrade my talents....or, last but not least...Haven't we fought before? Hell, maybe not....your just like every other generic tag team out there...so its hard to tell you a part....but it doesn't matter...if we have...or haven't...your still going to get your asses whooped..."

A smug smirk crosses Cruise's face. He really felt Starr and Lionheart to be more worthy opponents....but....

"Sadly....Starr, without Lion-o here to make an ass out of himself...leaving you in the same situation as me right now...partnerless....I must pick the useless somebody wannabe's as the tag title number one contenders....However....if....wait if? Ha...I made a funny.....I meant when...Myself and Mr.Kincaid retain the titles tonight....I propose the challenge to you Mr.Starr....Kincaid and Cruise....vs Lion-o and Starr....on Mayhem for the titles!"

The crowd roars with approval of what Jacob had declared. Possibly not liking his Pay-per-view opponents pick...But, surely liking the match that MAY happen on Mayhem.

With that all now said, Cruise drops his microphone on the stage and disappears behind the backstage curtain once more. Short and sweet...
