Backstage in the locker room. Just prior to Dead Zone going on the air. Genesis is being interviewed by the other GCW announcer Harvey Bazztard. Having heard some of 187's remarks earlier. Genesis was all business as usual. Tonight, was a chance to finally shut 187's trap once and for all. If the bullets he received in Toronto didn't put him down for the final count. Maybe Genesis' fist would. He put 187 down before, and he vowed to do it all over again. Just hope this match doesn't last only five minutes this time around ;D
Bazztard: Hello wrestling fans. I'm sitting alongside the GCW Continental Champion, the one and only King of Controversy himself, the man they call Genesis. Genesis, how are you feeling here this evening ?
Annoyed. But feeling fine none the less.
Bazztard: Why is that ?
Seems as if no matter what I do in this business. No one shows me any type of respect or thanks for it. I mean, look at me Harvey. I'm now a 2x World Champion (Overall). In addition to winning countless other belts from other organizations. I've done nothing but sacrifice myself day in and day out for this industry. I have given my blood, my sweat, and my tears to professional wrestling. What kind of thanks do I get ? none !
Bazztard: Seems like your pretty bitter about all that.
Well of course I am nimrod, who wouldn't be ? Check out other sports stars like Terrell Owens for example.
Bazztard: Terrell Owens ?
Yes ! Terrell Owens. I'm not talking about what he's doing today with the Dallas Cowboys. But back a few years ago with the Philadelphia Eagles. Back in 2005-2006. He single handily put the Eagles into the Super Bowl that year. Something that team hasn't even seen in over thirty plus years. T.O. got hurt during the last week of the season. Came back not even at 100% to play the Super Bowl. Eagles lost unfortunately and you know who got the blame for it ? Terrell Owens that who.
Now think about this for a second. Hypothetically speaking, if the Eagles would've won. Do you think T.O. would be getting the same negative treatment he's been receiving as of late ?
Bazztard: Well....I....uh
Exactly ! He wouldn't ! He would've been the big hero. I mean, its not like Donovan McNabb was going to do anything for the team. That guy spends more time on the bench hurt then he ever plays. Then all the bullshit broke out about Owens wanting more money. Well of course he wants more money ! He's a superstar, just like myself. You know as well as I do ya lil' Bazztard. In wrestling, just like in Football, Basketball, Baseball, or any other sport. Its not about who gets the pinfall at the end of the night or who out wrestles the other man. Or even about 'PWNing' somebody on the microphone. Its all about the Benjamin's and who can put the 'butts in the seats'. And who can do that better then anybody in this sport ? Guys like me....guys like The Avenger... and a couple of other wrestlers ! That is why I am 'the man'. Thats why myself and Avenger tore down the house at Exodus. We were that great ! But, do we get respect ? Hell no. Because the people can't stand us. Why ? Because the truth hurts. We are that FUCKING GOOD !!!
Bazztard: Interesting comments to say the least. I wanna bring up something that was brought to by 187 earlier during his interview. He brought up the Familia when asked about the rumor swirling around of a new 'group' coming into GCW under your leadership. Is there any truth to this ? And also, what are your thoughts about The Familia ?
Well, I'll just say this. I meant what I said at LockUP this past week. I made a promise that something big was going to happen and it will. Because tonight. It will be the dawning of a new era in professional wrestling. A new group will be born to do what The Order has failed to do. Take over this stinkin' organization and run it as we see fit.
As far as the 'Familia' goes. First lemme answer by saying that, whether people will agree or disagree with my comments. I do have respect for what the Familia has done. I think the members involved in the group did a great job of laying the ground for how to make a group succeed in this business. One thing that bothers me about 187 said is this:
Where are they now ?
Genesis looks around the room for a moment.
Do you see them anywhere Harvey ? Cause I sure don't. Maybe its because they are dead ! See, thats what bugs me about that situation. If they was such a great group of superstars. Wouldn't they still be around today ? Exactly ! My advice to 187 is this. Quit living in the past. Live for today and the future. You can't bring back what is already dead and expect it to work. Look the old 'n.W.o' from the golden era of wrestling. The group was one of the most fear commodities in this sport. Then, came over a dozen different incarnations of the same name. And at the very end. The n.W.o was remembered as once being one of the greatest stables ever, but now, was reduced to a big joke. And speaking of jokes... lets talk about the "Pecking Order' Harvey.
Bazztard: Don't you mean 'The Order' ?
Yeah whatever Harvey...whatever you wanna call those clowns. That little 'spinoff' of the Familia is nothing but a disgrace. Look at em' ! Over 3/4's of the members hardly ever show up to work like the rest of us have to. Colombain. I put him out to pasture and he's hardly a blimp on the radar anymore. The only two guys that have only recently decided to show up for work has been those 12-year old 'degenerates', Brent Starr & Chris Lionheart. Who think they can't get by alright by throwing out a few fart jokes and a few wise cracks just to make the people laugh. Those hasbeens go on and on about being the best ever. Well, thats all fine and dandy with me really. They can knock themselves out for all I care with that crap. Fact is, I rebuilt Chris Lionheart's career back in Atlanta when he couldn't get himself 'over' anymore with the fans. How many belts did Lionheart win in NY that didn't originally come from Atlanta ? Instead of talking shit about me with his new buddy. He should be thanking me for saving his career. Both here in Chi-Town and in NY. When nobody wanted anything else to do with him !
Brent Starr still thinks this is Detroit or the old New York. Because he is living in the past and believing his own publicity. To say that Brent Starr is lost in his own world would be an understatement. While he is running his mouth and blowing out hot air all over the place. I'm kicking everybodies ass and taking names. If the guy thought he was 'great'. Why didn't he headline the first GCW event in history, 'Exodus' ? Huh ? Where was he during the Absolution Continental Title Tournament ? I don't remember him even being a qualifier. Or about those other 'promises' of becoming the Mayhem Champion in order to make the belt more prestigious then mine ? Never happened did it ?
So bottom line Harvey. I'm not intimidated or afraid of those two assclowns. Never have, never will. To me, they are both simply jealous of me. I can see it in there eyes. They envy me just as much as I pitty them. They wish they could have my spotlight... MY Continental Championship. Fact is, they can't. As a matter of fact. The closest those two men will ever get to achieving that hopeless dream.. is by looking at me each and every night. Carrying the belt around my waist. After tonight's Dead Zone. It will continue to STAY that way.
Bazztard: We are running a little short on time Genesis. Any last words about your match here this evening with 187 ?
Far as I'm concerned. Tha Infamous 187 after tonight will be remembered as The Ignorant 187 ! Why ? Because he is doing the most stupidest thing in his life right now... and thats even considering stepping into the ring with yours truly ! But ya know Harvey. He's not the only one. Just asked countless other individuals who tried and failed to stop me and my reign over this kingdom of GCW. At the end of the day. 187, you'll be just another name...added to the growing list of superstars who couldn't get the job done. Snap my neck, fuck me up, break an arm or leg of mine if you wish. Do whatever you feel like. I welcome it 187. Cause while your doing all of that. I'll be busy knocking your ass out with the KICK of Controversy and getting the 1,2,3 !
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.....GAWDfather, Pfft.
...Book Closed...
...End of Story...
...Deal With It...
Afterwards... the camera's begin to fade. Thus concluding the interview.
