Biography:
Johnny Phoenix is a male model who turned Wrestler. Phoenix grew up in a small town outside of Norfolk Virginia and has always been a ladies man ever since the time he was born. All the time, through elementary and also high school he was always popular with the cheerleaders. They just couldn't get enough of him and his 100% Fat Free Body. After high school Phoenix became a male model and posed for over 50 magazines. But Phoenix was always interested in Wrestling while he was growing up, but never decided that he wanted to be one.. Until he had accomplished a few years of being a male model, giving him a lot of popularity that he decided to give it a try. He started training for a four years and started going through the rankings of local and Indy federations.
UPW:
Phoenix joined a small local federation called the UPW, in which he won every single championship they had, in a short amount of time. He was then offered a spot on the WWW roster which was another Indy Wrestling League out in the Carolinas. They traveled all over the Carolinas. This was the time Phoenix turned in to more then just an Ex Male Model. He turned in to a Wrestler, still modeling a little though.
VWE/WTF:
It was a little after two years when Phoenix received a call from the Virtual Wrestling Entertainment to come and give them a tryout match. He impressed them enough to the point where they offered him a contract, which he obviously would accept. With this being done he officially became a Wrestling Training Federation Superstar. Phoenix had to start in the WTF, the farm league of VWE, to get in to the VWE, so he started off slow but once he get the feel of things he skyrocketed, first by joining The Revolutionist and being called The Hot Shots which they still go by when there a tag team together. The Hot Shots eventually expanded into the Revolution X which had such members as Jessie Becker, Shawn Goth, Ewan Cameron, Anthony Ramirez and Carson Freedom at one point. During that time with Revolution X a lot of things happened for Phoenix. He received a shot at the at this point called Wrath Championship, now Showdown title, and had to win a qualifying match first and went on to beat his challenger. He won the Wrath title by beating the champion Riley Raymond. After weeks of successful title defenses, Phoenix eventually lost the title to the "Alpha Female of WTF" Esperanza.
Phoenix was also in a huge feud with Nitemare where the worst seemed to come out in all of there matches and even out of the matches. It got so bad that Nitemare ended up going to jail twice during the whole thing, once by getting into a fight with Phoenix, while the police officers tried to stop him he fought back. The second time was when Phoenix planted fake Cocaine in his bags. Phoenix also had a few confrontations with some VWE stars including "Mr. Showtime" Bryan Daniels and Brian Curtis. After all of that happened REV X lost to the Rated D Soldiers, consisting of Bobby Birchim, Carson Freedom, and D-Kill. in a 6 way tag match.
Johnny Phoenix did his greatest accomplishment by far in the VWE. Phoenix won the Inagreual WTF IDOL. He knew that was his chance to make it to the big time. Phoenix worked his ass off to win that son of a gun. He beat out 9 other wrestlers(Not countin the ones that didn't make the last 10)to win the IDOL. After winning the IDOL Phoenix was offically a VWE Superstar. B ut he was more of a Rookie during the 07 VWE season. Phoenix started sh!z back up with his biggest enemy Nitemare, not only that but he also teamed back up with Sean Freedom and immidatley started having success. The two went on a winning streak which was then ended by Oichi and Esperanza. Phoenix also won the Hardcore title during his 07 stint in VWE. In 2008 Johnny Phoenix will be a force to reckon with as he has gotten his feet wet where the big boys play. After close to 3 years over in the VWE it was announced on March 30th at 5:00PM that VWE will be closing. Johnny was saddened. So he then went out and searched for a new home. He didn't have to look far as someome over in a Chicago based Federation put in a good word for him(Crymson maybe?) and he was contacted to come join the GCW. Johnny and GCW came to a contract decision and now he is offically a member of the GCW. What will GCW has in store for The Hot Stuff? What does Johnny have in store for the GCW? You never know what the smart ass Phoenix will say or do next, 2008 will be the year of the PHOENIX!!! Just Look At Him, Ain't He A Sight To See, The Whole Damn World Wants To Look Like Him, BUT THEY DON'T.
