Early Life: Christian Allen Pryce was born in Shoreham England. A small town in the middle of the countryside. Pryce started to wrestle at the age of 16 and has never looked back. Jacques also has a degree in drama.
CWA Atlantic: A small USA promotion called CWA came to England and scouted for stars. Pryce went to the tryouts but was however rejected due to his height. If Jacques was 6”1’ he would have made it in easy. Pryce spent 3 months (while the tryouts were still going on) wrestling in smaller promotions gaining prestige to show CWA he had the talent. It was the night before they left for America that CWA Trainee Erik Enigma was left nearly paralysed after he was hit by a car. So CWA called Christian up to replace him. He then went over to America to undergo another 5 months training before he would make his CWA Debut.
CWA: Christian would debut under the Nickname “Golden One” at CWA PPV Insurgence. Christian would wrestle in the Main Event Battle royal and was eliminated 7th out of 15. Christian would then have small dark matches before being thrown head first into a feud with CWA European Champion Hollywood. Christian and Hollywood had a series of 4 matches 2 of which were title changes that saw Christian win his first ever title. Christian won the title and lost it the very same night to Hollywood. The feud however was cut short due to Christian’s Groin injury, which kept him out for 2 months. Pryce would eventually return as Jacques “the Devil” Seamons. He would have one more match with Hollywood before facing Death for the CWA World title. Christian won the title and held it for the short space of a week. Christian became infuriated at his title reign as he felt that he was just a ‘transitional’ champion. Pryce lost the title to Dustin Diamond. Pryce would later leave the company due to personal reasons.
EAW: Christian would later sign for EAW. He would go by his birth name. And made an instant impact by winning the EAW Lightweight championship. And continued to hold the title until the company folded. Christian had the distinction of being one of the only stars to have never been beaten for his title in EAW. Pryce was one of the only undefeated stars in EAW. Ending his EAW career at a 4-0 record.
NEW: Pryce would go to NEW after EAW shut down. Pryce was their for the last few weeks until its demise. However he struggled over in Memphis, as he did not get a win. Pryce (who was going under the name of Evan Octane) stayed until the last days of the company. However despite Pryce not getting a win he insists that he felt most at home in Memphis. Pryce did make an impact in matches with Shia Storm and Angel Fyre. He also took part in the No Limits Battle Royal for the Title.
2008: this was a year of change. Pryce decided to make it big in wrestling receiving try-outs for all 4 major promotions. Pryce would debut as Jacques Lament.
APW: Christian went into Toronto and again like in EAW Christian made a huge impression. Pryce lost on his Debut to Cruz Corona. But won the nationwide battle royal. Pryce then went on to bigger things when he defeated the World Champion for a title shot. Christian though knowing he could not get the shot until he lost his belt put his belt on the line against his first challenger Maniac. Pryce thought he would be lucky again but was mistaken as he was comfortably beaten by Maniac Thus losing his title just two weeks after winning it, making it Pryce’s longest title reign. Christian issued a Challenge to the World Champion Skullinator. But was rudely interrupted by Joe Bruiser. Bruiser and Pryce would face off for a title shot against the world champion in the same night. The match is considered a classic APW match with the result favouring Pryce. Pryce got his match against skullinator and put up one hell of a challenge. However he fell short of the illustrious win and this left Pryce broken inside for a while. On the next Full Throttle Pryce held a suicide stunt on TV, which got him in trouble with the TV executives, as they did not see the promo as profitable and to graphic for the show. Pryce would then have another LMS match but this time against former APW champion Jason Cross, Pryce was royally beaten and despite giving his all, the brute strength of Cross was too much even for Pryce. It was this time that Pryce finally confronted Maniac in his last move at APW. Pryce would talk to Maniac in his last conversation at APW before leaving. Christian was then announced to be in a No1 contenders spot for the nationwide title at Clash of the titans, Pryce won the match and would go on to COTT for his match. However fate would intervene and favour Pryce, as he was announced in the Elimination Chamber match for the world title in the same night he faces James Hunter for the nationwide title. An announcement said that if Pryce won the world title and nationwide title he would be stripped of the latter. Pryce goes into COTT with the best chance out of the entire roster of making Immortality on the night ad becoming the APW Undisputed Champion. Pryce failed to win losing both times. But Pryce came back and defeated blessed. Pryce and blessed started to become intimate buddies. Pryce also defeated James Hunter for The Nationwide Title, but then lost it the next week to Skullinator. Pryce then challenged Joe Bruiser for The APW world title saying that it was the only strap that had eluded him. Pryce proceeded to be embarrassed by Bruiser who defeated him in under 8 minutes. However Pryce got one last chance to prove himself to Bruiser, although this lead to another defeat this time in the hands of James Hunter a man that he had a deep hatred for. However in an interesting turn of events Skullinator Relinquished the Nationwide title. And Pryce sought to capitalise on the vacancy of the belt and become APW’s only ever 3-time Nationwide champion. However Pryce’s aspirations were again disembowelled when eventual winner eliminated him. Pryce has now been told he needs to earn his spot at the top of the roster. Pryce had a month long fight to prove to APW officials and to champion that he deserves another shot at the APW World Championship. He fought right up until the end of APW without losing. Defeating such stars like Jason “Viper” Michaels, Asylum and Cruz Corona. Pryce was then going to ask for a title shot, But APW closed the season prematurely leaving him in the cold.
GCW: Christian went to Chicago later than he expected. He would Debut under the name Jacques Lament. Pryce originally wanted to make it for Exodus PPV but was held back after problems. Christian would eventually Debut against Brian Archo. Beating him comfortably. Pryce took it upon himself to Challenge for the Global Warfare Title at PPV Mind-Games. There Pryce will face Brian Archo again and the Champion Veign in an Extreme Rules bout. But Pryce fell short after not being involved in the pinfall after being knocked out by Archo. The eventual winner was the late addition of Jack McArthur. Pryce would then have a problem with a new young star called Big Daddy Briggz. What started as a simple exchange of words ended up a battle over Pryce’s past? Pryce was forced to change his name back to his birth name and give briggz a chance at getting revenge at GCW’s Ascension PPV. Pryce goes into his third LMS match. Overall Pryce has had an amazing start to his GCW career. Pryce then lost to both Cerberus and MG leaving the man down and in distress. Pryce then in a mysterious turn of events decided to cut his hair and get new attire. Pryce then answered a challenge set forth by the Mayhem Champion. Pryce put up a valiant fight for the title. But the Cell was the difference in the match. Though despite losing Pryce challenged Fyre to a last man-standing match and was accepted. Pryce Waited eagerly for his second title shot. He trained hard before his Last Man Standing match with Angel Fyre. And At Rumble From Down Under Pryce shocked the world by defeating Fyre in a match that is fast becoming Pryce’s specialty match. Pryce now goes into his newly dubbed Era of Mayhem, Pryce now awaits his next challenge and hopes that he can defend his belt until the very end of the year. Pryce got his first challenge in former COD and newly drafted Nick Jones. Pryce has said that he will only give a shot to Jones if he can beat him one on one. Pryce faced his first scare as champion b7y being defeated by Joe Bruiser (late Edition) in the match. He then took the title on to the PPV where he defeated Angel Fyre again to retain his title. Then and old acquaintance made a return to the title scene in the form of James Hunter. Hunter was unsuccessful in his first attempt at defeating Pryce. But got a second chance against his new team mate along with Jack McArthur. Though it was a close decision Hunter climbed out of the cage seconds before Pryce did. So with Hunter the New Mayhem champion Pryce was now going after the Continental championship and has good hopes on becoming the CHC.
WTF: it took a month before Pryce was announced as Steve Toreno’s protégé over in WTF. Pryce would again use the Name Jacques Lament and would be thrown into a war between Toreno and former WTF champion William James. The stipulation was if Pryce lost to James then James gets a LMS match against Toreno. It was at this time Pryce and Toreno had a falling out and this led to Pryce having a chat with William James outside the arena. It was never certain whether he lost on purpose, but after both he and Toreno lost, Pryce turned on Toreno attacking him and beating him viciously from WTF and almost banishing him from the company. Pryce was then announced for WTF’s team match up. Despite arguably having the better team in the match his team lost after Andrew Lynn turned on them. Pryce was again announced to get himself a no1 Contenders match however this matches co-in sided with the closure of WTF. Pryce may not have been promoted to VWE in his short spell but he did make an impact, and if time went on then Maybe the alliance of Unknown Wrestler, Blade Myers and himself would have taken WTF by storm, However plans are in work elsewhere of WTF spin off and maybe the three wrestler will make the impact they wanted too. Only time will tell.
XWA: Christian Pryce’s XWA debut was not as impressive as his other debuts. Pryce had a tag team match against the Xavier Brothers and lost out. Pryce would then go on and feud with Anthony Xavier. However their Ironman match did not go as planned as it finished 1-1. And now going into March madness Pryce has his toughest test to date. Defeat the monster and prove him on his XWA PPV debut. Pryce defeated Anthony Xavier. But then lost to Blade Myers the next week. Pryce then disappeared from XWA TV and has yet to return. But are the Platinum Edition messages anything to do with his return. Pryce then returned at the PPV Vendetta. He claimed that he was there to make the difference and to beat down anybody who got in his way, and that included big names like Primo and Lionheart. However it would be a month before Pryce would get his in-ring return. Pryce answered an open challenge from former XWA World Champion XXL. Pryce then found himself on the end of a match with 3 of XWA Biggest stars. So Mayday Pryce faced XXL, Robby Sylk and Chet Dixon in an Elimination fatal Four Way, although he didn’t win he did last longer than XXL. And Pryce saw that as comforting. However the night before in a crowded bar Pryce came face to face with the man that he idolised in Former World Champion and the man formerly known as Genesis, Brandon Payne. Pryce got talking with Payne and he was offered to be made a star by the legend. He basically offered Pryce fame in XWA. And all Pryce would have to do was train with him. Pryce agreed and now the night before the training session he can’t wait. After his training session Pryce became determined to do well in New York, so he entered the Soul Survivor Tournament as well as challenging Marcus Superman Samson and Osiris to matches. Pryce defeated both and then passed onto the next round of the tournament. However he was drawn against the favourites and his team was defeated. This broke Pryce down and left him to attack his teammate Sylvester, he faced him on the show overload and defeated him. But during his anger Pryce had developed a second Psyche known as Christus. A man who was purely sick and evil. This other personality was hell bent on destroying poor Sylvester so he was challenged to a first blood match.
JFR: Pryce Debuted at JFR with a large mount of respect. Pryce was so impressive they even gave him the first ever JFR match of the show. Hoping he could pull off a big match. He did, but he did not win. Pryce the next week also lost leaving him 0-2 in JFR. Despite this Pryce is ranked 2nd in JFR’s monthly rankings. Though after only the second ever JFR event the company closed due to ratings issues.
OCW: Pryce eventually made his OCW debut after months of attempting to join their ranks. Pryce made a good impression by defeating 4 established stars in the ring. However he also lost to Redemption and Sorrow. Pryce then had to hang up his career in OCW after personal problems had taken a hold of his career.
Project X: Pryce would debut again under the former NEW federation. This time re-named Project X and it underwent new management. Pryce debuted against PX’s self-proclaimed King and GCW continental champion Genesis. Pryce would lose the match to Genesis putting up a good fight but couldn’t win. Then the aftermath saw the returning Victor Guilt (formerly known as Vengeance) who’s return to wrestling saw him go up against Pryce and Genesis (until his retirement) so now the two face off in singles action at the next PX unrated show. However before the show could air the company ent into a temporary hiatus again.
CWE: Formerly of XSE. CWE is where old Rivals Shane Andrews and William James have set up their camp. Pryce’s first Run with the company went ok, In two matches Pryce became the first ever CWE Hardcore champion. He lost the belt in his first defence. This brought Pryce a lot of bad luck without winning. Pryce then up and left the company however still officially on the roster. After a few months Pryce returned with one thing on his mind. CWE World Championship. As well as sporting his New White Angel look, he is in the best possible shape to do it.
