Bio:
Kris's father Mark was a army man, so he was always getting stationed and re-stationed all over the world. He hailed from Wyoming, but early on he got stationed in Japan. While stationed there, he quickly learned the native language and met his wife Yogi. They got married after about a year of knowing each other. A few months later, Mark was sent back to Wyoming to be stationed for what he thought was permanent. A year later, Yogi got pregnant and had Kris. A week later Mark got a call that he was being sent back to Japan so they packed their stuff and went back. There Kris started his young life.
From a very young age, Mark was always trying to teach Kris fighting techniques and moves. Mark wanted Kris to live his dream as a child, to be a great martial artist. So instead of playing sports or video games, Kris was enrolled in the Yang-Sung dojo near his house. Right off of the bat Kris did not want to participate in any of this but his father forced him to. Kris trained long and hard everyday where he quickly became one of the best fighters in his group. Kris would use the anger he had for his father to make him fight harder. Kris would always go home and tell his parents how much he didn't want to do the training, but this just made his dad push harder against him.
Once Kris became a teenager, he had been to hundreds of dojos and trained with some of the best fighters. On his eighteenth birthday, Kris got into a fight with his dad where he almost killed his father. He took some money and packed his stuff and took a flight back to the U.S. vowing to never use his skills for anything bad again. He headed back to Wyoming where he stayed with his Grandmother. He got into training at a gym where they started to notice how skilled he was. A man named Joe Shimona, a UFC trainer, talked Kris into training to be a UFC fighter. After suffering a very bad loss his first match, he came back and won all of his matches the rest of the year. After a pay per view match where he won the heavyweight title, he was approached by a man named Sal Vandidi.
Sal asked him if he had ever thought about a career in wrestling, this is something Kris had always wanted to do, and asked if he was interested in him training him. So Kris left the UFC to go train with Sal. Sal trained him for six months then told him he could get him into a new upstart wrestling program called GCW. So after moving to Chicago and getting a job from GCW he was up and going. Kris wears his shorts that he wore in UFC which have a yin yang on both sides of the pants and an eagle on the front. The yin yang's represent Kris's past, a light side and a dark side. The eagle represents his freedom from his father and the dojos in which he was trained.
Kris had such a harsh past that whenever asked about it he will change the conversation. He hates remembering his past and never brings it up with anyone. He sometimes has to take pills to help flood out the memories of his past if he starts thinking about it or someone brings it up.
