And she was out of the Elevator. Her eyes were on the secretary not too far from her. Then, she could read the name 'Candice Angel' on a door not too far from that secretary. She walked to her.

''Miss Angel shall return soon. I'm waiting for her.''

''She knows that I'm here.''

Veronica nodded to the secretary who was obviously in a lot of work. She sat on a chair near the door, enjoying a magazine while waiting for the Co-CEO to come back.

$-Stepping from the elevator at the end of the corridor of the executive floor of the GCW Tower, Candice released a long sigh from her lips. It was always difficult to speak with Miss Masters for her, but at least it wasn't a prolonged situation. Forcing a smile to her face despite the recent meeting with the LockUP! General Manager, she proceeded towards her office door, already seeing that Miss Valentine indeed was awaiting her arrival. Once there, she smiled to her secretary before looking back to Veronica as she stepped towards her door, opening it for the both of them to enter...-$

"Sorry for the delay Miss Valentine. Took a bit longer than I anticipated. Please, let's begin shall we?"

She gave her a quick nod before closing the door behind her.



Wow! That place was outstanding! When her Datapad found GCW in Chicago, Veronica had doubt about that promotion. She was always extremely in the past so she never noticed that place. How could she have missed this? She just answered, while her eyes were just looking around.

''Of course, Miss Angel.''

That office was just great. Her attention came back to the Co-CEO herself while she sat down on a chair in front of that expensive-looking desk.

$-Candice immediately noticed Miss Valentine's inspection of her office surroundings. It always had that effect on people the first time. She merely smiled after closing the door behind her, proceeding towards her office chair, motioning her hand towards the one across from it as she spoke...-$

"I have to admit I'm a bit on the shocked side to see you find your way here to Chicago and GCW Miss Valentine. I am vaguely familiar with yourself and your previous employer, and with as many promotions as there are on the face of the planet nowadays, it's a bit surprising you'd even consider a relatively new company. "

$-A slight raise of her eyebrow as she slowly seats herself slowly, awaiting her guest to do the same as she continued on...-$

"Not that I mind, because believe me I don't but, why GCW dear? Or, was this merely a scouting exhibitor for yourself?"

Hmm...

Can't really say a year 2450 Special Machine named Datapad pointed GCW to her. So maybe she could just say the other reason why she's here. It's also the true reason. The number 1 reason why she's here.

''Well, there's a lot of people here I've heard. I also confirmed that when I saw that Poster down there. It's huge and well, I'm one who's looking for a great challenge. There's tons of new people for me to meet here... and I want to fight them! I'd like to surpass myself.''

''That's why it's GCW to me.''

Yes. Many people here. She wanted a challenge, and here was one.

"I see. Well you've definitely come to the right place if you're looking for a challenge. There are men and women from all over the globe here with us this season, and thus far they've shown their worth in as well as outside of the world. Actually...I've received word that a few more ladies and gentlemen may be headed our way from Ohio..."

$-Pausing momentarily, she retrieved one of the many standard GCW contracts from the drawer nearest her, placing it on the desk as she slid it across to Miss Valentine, ballpoint pen placed idly atop of it as she finished...-$

"If that is in fact truth, the remainder of the season should be more than interesting. One can never have enough talent I always say."

"If the document is up to satisfactory standards, all that's required is a signature of course. Take your time, and if you have any questions, please feel free to fire away."

She looked at the contract really quickly.

''Hm, I actually have a couple of questions. What's the differences between MayheM and Lock Up! here? Also, are we traveling from city to city for shows? And finally, do GCW Wrestlers have a place where they can live provided by you or not?''

''Some details that I need answered.''

That familiar looking man she saw... He was on the MayheM Roster. She remembered that.

"Well primarily, LockUP! would be considered our more traditional showcase for talents. Meaning more emphasis on the true science of the sport of professional wrestling. The more experienced mat based athletes usually find themselves there once assigned a roster spot here in GCW."

"While it's counterpart, MayheM...Well, let's just say that the show name fits the style of the occupants of that side of the table. A more, violent? Outlook seems to be the common trend for the MayheM roster. Though of course you are able to find a bit of the opposite on each show Miss Valentine. If you look closely enough that is. I take it you have a preference as to where you would like to be placed?"

Indeed. She nodded to her, smiling a little.

''Yea that's right.''

''I think I would prefer to be on MayheM, if that's ok with you. I've always wrestled in a Technical kind of way. I've even been undefeated in every Submission match I had one Season. But this Season, I went under another type of training. One that's different. I was successful. But now, I tried something new. I'll bring more punch and kicks in there now, amongst other moves.''

''So if it's all possible, MayheM for me. I'm used to fight both women and men. Is it still possible here? I know many people in the wrestling business are against inter-gender matches, mainly because girls are supposed to be weaker.''

Vivi never had a problem with any matches. She didn't want to get cut from half the Roster simply because she was a girl. Her arms were on her knees.

"Hm. Oh believe me Miss Valentine, we have our share of inter-gender contests here in GCW, so, I'm sure your thirst for all around competition. More than sure actually. "

"As far as the MayheM placement goes, I'd of course have to speak with Miss Bloom on the subject before making a decision on that. Sure I could place you there, but Miss Bloom works very diligently to ensure MayheM is a productive and well produced showcase of talent so, the final word should be hers of course?"

"Though I'm sure a good word from yours truly couldn't hurt. If you know what I mean... "

''Oh I know, Miss Angel.''

''I believe I can find many nice opponents here, and I will. Now about that place where the Wrestlers live. Do we have apartments or do we need to rent them ourselves? And what about shows? Is it always in Chicago? Or elsewhere? Do we travel?''

Vivi would have to get a desk like this one.

"Oh! Apologies Miss Valentine. I must have gotten a bit sidetracked there. Blonde moment perhaps."

"Well the wrestlers generally reside here in the GCW Tower during "down time" so to speak. Though if you wish, you could find your own place of residence outside of the Towers, if you felt you required a bit more privacy that is. And yes we are a traveling promotion. Which I'm sure you'll have to adjust to a bit? But trust me, you'll love it once you begin. Nothing like seeing the world I must say. I wouldn't have it any other way myself. You'll love it I'm sure."

She leans slightly forward, looking once more at the contract before signing it.

''Alright.''

''I'm in. I assume all the schedule are on the website? I'll really need to get to work if I want to make it to the next show with a match. So I guess it's training for me.''

''Thank you for your time, Miss Angel. You're great. Adios.''

She extended her hand to her new Boss. Here she was now, officially GCW.

$-Smiling brightly and extending her had in response...-$

"No thank you for considering us Miss Valentine. And yes, all the scheduled dates are available on the website should you need any information pertaining to upcoming dates. So, welcome aboard and I look forward to seeing what you can bring to the table."

She shook Candice's hand before standing up.

''Oh I don't think my best years of wrestling are behind me just yet.''

''You'll see what I mean Miss Angel.''

And with a smile, she left the office.
