Taking a walk out in the cold (Anyone)

[Shia Storm]

It was a cold night out in Chicago. People out shopping for the holidays while others are just spending time with their families. Some maybe out on the road while families are at home enjoying themselves. Some are just out on the street in the cold doing what they can do to survive. Whatever the case maybe, Shia was out in the cold by himself as his wife is back in the Tower sleeping. Shia needed a moment by himself, and decided to get a bit of fresh air. He has his long hair rapped into a ponytail, blue jeans, black skull logoed shirt with black trenchcoat on, black boots, and black baseball cap with those cold dead eyes looking at ya'. Its basically a month away from GCW's first event, and it seemed like forever. When you are a wrestler, and you are used to being on the road, and haven't wrestled in a little bit, feels weird ya know, and kind of boring. When that day comes along, Shia invisions a beast inside himself that will be unleashed on all his way, but until then. It will be days like this where's nothing to do except walk around, and get to know his surroundings.

Man, its cold out here.

While walking, a few people stop him as they recognize the face.

Hey, hey mister.

Yes?

You Shia Storm?

Yeah. Who wants to know?

Well just me. I'm a big fan of yours. You are like the new deadman or something. Like kind of got some badassness to ya, but in a face way.

Yeah. Alright. Thanks.

Shia starts to continue on with his walk. The man stops him.

Hey, hey wait for a moment. Can I get a autograph.

Shia stops, and hears the man's words, and its like eh. What the hell. Why not. Like I care.

Alright. Sure. What's your name kid, and where's your pen, and paper?

Well, I don't have any paper. Maybe can write it on my chest or somethin'.

Shia looks at the man as if he losts he mind.

On your chest?

The man nods.

You can forget that. Come talk to me when you are prepared.

He then just continues to walk, and the fan starts to get pissed off, and charges at him, and Shia sees him out of the corner of his eye, and just takes the guys momentum, and flips on onto the ground.

Look dude. I have no clue who you are or what you are thinking, but I don't play that way, or getting into dealing with people who don't get their way. I suggest you just move on, and walk away before anything happens. Got it?

He nods.

Sorry about that. Just got a little overexcited.

Ya' think? Lets just act this ever happened, and you never saw me. okay?

Yes sir.

Shia helps the man up, and he goes on his way. Now that was a bit interesting wasn't it

What else will happen tonight? Who knows. Anyways, Shia walks about more, and more, and then stops, and leans against one of the tall Lanterns outside, and just thinks.

This upcoming year could be so big for Danger Breed.

Just thinking about brings somewhat of an evil smile to his face as he thinks to himself.

I'll be holding up my end as I'll be battling BP somewhere down the line. Who knows when he'll to strike on me. I'm one of the few that can get inside that bitch's head, and make him think of his next move. If he tried to mess with me, could be bad for the man.

Then there's Avenger who also thinks of me as a threat. Both trying to get me on their side for some odd reason which to be honest, can't stand either one of them. Hell, hope they tear each other apart.

Shia starts walking again, and decides to head inside a bar for a moment, and grabbed a soda, and then came outside in front of the bar. Will anyone familiar be around the same area, or will there be someone new that Shia hasn't encountered yet.

"You ever wonder how the stars tend to look like different things, like cars, people and so on. I can't sleep either buddy? You seem familar to me but I know we havent' spoke before."

Standing infront of Shia Storm is Logan Steel someone he knows of and worked in the same company but never wrestled or even spoke before. Logan is wearing sunglasses despite it being night and in the winter.

"It's a whole new world here a far cry from Virginia, and certainly very different to Toronto. I remember you now you were the guy who took out the big ghost The Phantom, very impressive anyone who does that is definately someone I don't want to get on the wrong side of. I noticed you had a little trouble back there I was going to help but looks like you had it all covered. Sorry forgive me the name is Logan Steel."

Logan looks at Shia Storm before he extends his hand out to him and waits to see if Shia will respond...

[Shia Storm]

Shia just takes a sip of his drink, and breaths out the cold air that comes into him in a hard breeze. Not sure if this man was just another fan acting to be a star that he saw in another company or he was actually being sincere. The Logan steel that he remembers had a coldness about him that only Randy Orton would love. Could this be the same man who's saying about knowing what I go through, and seeing what happened just a minute ago. Hmm, was this person spying on me, or was he just outside at the same time (at the right time). Something I'll just have to think about later as the man now wants to shake my hand. Shia just looks at his hand for a moment, and then shakes his head, and then begins to speak.

So, you are Logan Steel huh.

The man nods.

You are the guy who's from that other company who was the former World Champion. If you are part of that company, aren't you a little far away from home?

This isn't exactly where exactly their homebase is now is it!. How do I know for sure that you aren't just some lookalike trying to fit in with the crowd, but stand out at the same time just to get autographs from people, and get a little money on the side hmm?

Also, if you somehow saw what just happened a second ago, you'd think I'd be shaking another stranger to me that I don't know if he's lying to me or not about being a superstar from another company.

When you can show me proof of the man you speak of, come back to me, and we will see if you are the real thing, or just trying to fit in with the crowd.

"Well could take a look at my tattoos I mean I have heard of fanatics but someone getting all of my tattoos copied now that is an extreme but for now take a look at my driver's license and sorry but it's a Canadian driver's license though it should confirm who I am. As for the coldness you speak of it is a part of my past that I wish to attone for, because I unlike Randy Orton now feel remorse and regret for some of the short cuts that I took and for some of the moments I took pleasure in."

Logan pulls out his wallet and looks for his driver's license and when he finds it he shows it to Shia who isn't sure whether to take a look at it or not.

"Come on I won't bite and the way you destroyed The Phantom, I shouldn't even pose a threat to you! Believe it or not I have changed"

[Shia Storm]

Shia looks at the license as the man is trying to prove his case. Whether it is or not, the day seemed like a cold day in hell, and Shia wasn't in the friendly move at this point.

Alright, say you are Logan Steel. What is a man like yourself doing in Chicago? It is a long way away from your promotion isn't it? Whether it be the case, it doesn't matter at this point, and time.

He then finishes his drink, and then gets in the face of the taller Steel.

Another thing, I do not, and will be not threatened by a man who's not even on my radar right now. A man who thinks too highly of himself, and then say the words "I have changed", and then everything is cool. No sir. For you to see any respect from me, you will have to earn it!

I can see inside your soul, and what I see is a black cloud inside you that's just itching to come out, and bury somebody into the ground. Someone that's just looking to take his, and would't think twice about hurting somebody close just to get what he wants. You know it, and I know it. So, you can try, and put on this two goody shoes act all you want with me, but I'm not buying it.

"Haha, you can see into my soul what next you gonna tell me my fortune? How far do your mystic powers go, predicting that someone has darkness in them is easy as we all can give in to temptation especially when the rewards are far greater than you possibly imagined! Everyone has darkness now I am choosing not to give in to it now and the best way to do that was leaving Virginia for good as it brought out the worst in me."

Logan looks at Shia not sure if he will believe anything that Steel would ever say, but Logan continues anyway.

"We all have pasts can you honestly say that you don't?"

Logan feels he may have struck a nerve with that question...

[Avenger]

The Avenger has been lurking in the darkest of places until he found the right opportunity to confront both men.

Well, well, well. If it isn't Shia Storm taking a long walk out in the cold. My friend the Avenger has had many of those walks and many still to this day. My mind keeps reminding me never to forget the past as it haunts me to this day. So the Avenger knows exactly what you are going through. It's all about trust now isn't it? It's about what you have done and what you want to do or even what you haven't done? But you see Shia, the Avenger likes you. He always has even though we haven't always seen eye to eye. The Avenger will keep his eye on you as he knows there are big things in your future. We can leave as friends like in the old days and the Avenger can back your play or we can fight down the road. The Avenger knows that this is a business and to get anywhere in life it is like that.

The Avenger then turns to Logan.

Logan Steel, right? The Avenger hears alot about you and that Virginia based place you seemed to be at. Also beware on the choices you make as well. Don't let them haunt you like the choices that have haunted the Avenger. Just know that beating people up is the only release the Avenger has for the transgressions and pain in his life. Now the Avenger has this battle coming up but make no mistake about it Steel and that is you my friend are going to be on "borrowed time" if you keep going the way you are going. Just know that there will come a time that you will understand what it means to know what "The Revelation" is all about. And tell your little girlfriend that something will happen as well if things keep going the way they are going. You my friend are walking a very dangerous walk on a thin sheet of ice. And who is going to hold your hand as the ice breaks? Your girlfriend? Just take my words as advice and not something to be heated about. The Avenger is here to let you know that pictures are not always what they seem to be. They are a mystery just like the Avenger.

"Ok let me set something straight please Lauren is my wife you see this it's called a wedding ring I have one and Lauren has one so she is my wife and not just a girlfriend. You drop by from where I don't know I mean this isn't devil's night so why the face paint? Darkness can fall just as the sun can rise so why is no one believing that I can change for the better you have no need to make any threats nor promises of you relieving you pain by beating me unless we are in the ring then feel free to try!"

Logan looks at the Avenger right in the eyes and the pain and torment present is clear to him.

"Virginia well be firmly a part of my past I have my final match and then I am done with them for good. The only reason I came to Chicago is to secure myself and my wife financially, I have not came here on a mission to destroy a certain person or to cause pain like I did in Virginia, ok so sometimes I get a little hot headed it's in my nature and probably always will be!"

Logan looks at the Avenger then to Shia waiting for either to make a response...

[Avenger]

Avenger gives a deep stare to Logan

My friend the Avenger knows this isn't Halloween. But this is a "Trick or Treat" session. You see you come off thinking that the Avenger doesn't know you or who you find yourself with. Just know the Avenger knows that Lauren is your wife. The Avenger does his research and the Avenger was not talking about her. He was talking about your other girlfriend. And don't worry, the Avenger is one that looks things from the other side of the map if you will. Just know Mr. Virginia that if you do cross that line and our paths do take center stage then just remember that is a place you really don't want to go.

Now you can have all the prizes and money here in Chicago as Virginia probably could only pay the rent. The Avenger didn't come here to Chicago for the money or notarity. He already has more than he can ever want or spend. The Avenger is here because he was sitting at home in beautiful Miami watching the women go by and the room service become somewhat boring. The Avenger came to Chicago to relieve such transgressions and memories from his mind and to give them to someone else.

You see Logan you think the Avenger is out here to threaten you or stab you in the back. The Avenger will leave that to your future and the way you are going it is a very bleak one at that. Just be warned that the company you keep may end up destroying the fabrication of life that you so ever want and dream of. Just know that 2008 is a year of great expectations but don't let it be a year of great demise. You got talent son and live on that talent. If we get in the ring just know that beautiful Lauren may not like what she sees. Matter of fact neither will you. Just know that the Avenger has his eye on you as you have your eye on the prize at the end of the rainbow.

Logan looks at Avenger and he is somewhat confused as to what he meant by girlfriend. Logan thought to himself there is only Lauren I am loyal to her, what could he mean by this.

"So you think that I keep bad company and that it could incur your wrath? So hang on you have someone who can look into my soul and say that I am pure evil and another is saying pretty much it's all in my hands and that I can choose by what company I keep if I become evil or good or how it will all end at your hands? I have already done some bad things I am 25 years old and yet I have sinned a lifetime's worth. As for going for glory you are wrong I made good money in Virginia but I wasted it thinking that tomorrow would always come then they say that they won't pay me anymore, my cars are repossessed and I have to sell my mansion and then it is my wife who is supporting me I may be old fashioned but I was brought up with the fact the man was the bread winner and he supported his wife!"

Logan looks at Shia who has remained quiet since the Avenger showed up, this seems to puzzle Logan it is clear that these men have a past.

"There is something going on here that more than meets the eye? Avenger are you stalking me, I get the feeling that you know my every move and Shia claims to know before I make it. You guys working together around here as a masterplan to take over this place? and you see me and Angel as a threat am I right?"

Logan thinks he may have figured out the Avenger's game plan...

[Shia Storm]

The hell? Sebastien Crowe again seems to be showing up where I am at again? The hell does this dude want? Is he really asking for an ass kicking? Dude's getting into Steel's ear, and now thinks that me, and that cocky son of a b*tch are partners? Something does not sit well with the situation for one thing, and I have a feeling that something is up with Crowe, and trying to appear where I ever end up!

Let's get something perfectly clear son. You, and that cocky son of a b*tch are not friends, nor will we ever be friends! As a matter affect, you both came up to me I believe, and I don't think I called you over, and you Steel, or did you forget that fast.

He takes a moment, and breath's in the air, and out.

Everyone has a big of evil in them Steel, and its kind of obvious, but what I see is a man who's trying desperately trying to run away from his past, and wanting to act like his days of being that cold sun of a b*tch days are over for good is not believable, and whether you believe or not. I can see right through you when you try, and deny what you know is there, and you wouldn't for a second bury your own to get what you want. Trust me on this, if you get some kind of chance at the title. You are telling me that you won't try, and get the upper hand on your opponent. Try, and get the first strike before the contest is under way. The rage inside, and the cold business side is over? You can try, and deny all you want, but you remember this. I know that you soul is as black as night, and its going to only a matter of time that you break out of this nice guy faze when someone takes to the point where you just plain pissed off, and just don't feel like doing the nice guy act.

[Avenger]

Avenger is smiling on the inside as he can tell that there is more to Shia and Logan than once imagined.

Logan, Logan, Logan! Don't mistake yourself or your new found friend on achievement but a bliss of misdirection. You or Mr. Hollywood are a threat to me. The Avenger looks at you as someone that will try to take what isn't his as your so called life history of having it all and then losing it makes you into someone that will risk it all. Now you can wish upon the stars all you wish but the bottom line is that you can have all the alliances you want. But at the end of the day, the Avenger will see what you got. Do you have what it takes to make that trip to the top of the mountain? Will you or can you do what it takes no matter whose back you got to stab or what you have to do? Time will only tell for sure

The Avenger turns to Shia Storm.

Shia lets get one thing perfectly clear and that is the Avenger does not trust anyone and especially someone like you that at times has seen you go the extra mile. The Avenger does not fear any man that has a woman at his corner. It shows weakness and they will be the ones emptying your pockets. Just look at those that have them and see where they are. Just be wise and make the right decision. There will come a day when you will turn and you either will have to take my hand for help or you will have to face the Avenger's hand as he destroys what is before him. The question remains don't ever trust anything that looks like a mirror image of yourself. Don't ever trust what you can't destroy. And that is the sense in which the Avenger trusts no one but will take care of business when the time is right.

Now Shia you may want to ask yourself why the Avenger is where you are? Is it to protect you from the enemy or is it to see what you will do next? Recall all the times that the Avenger did what he did best to get the job done. The Avenger isn't out here to be your friend but to let you know not to trust or believe what you see. The Avenger is here to let you in on the "Revelation" of life and that is if you fail in your pursuit then "Reckoning" will prevail. No need in pretending we were friends as this business is about the worse in life. So Shia the Avenger will be in the darkness as his heart and soul creeps to the bottomless pit as he will reach out to gain his goals. And what happens next is only for the ones that want to believe. Tomorrow is never guaranteed and so will the lives that cross before me and the ones that oppose me. Just know that the Avenger is only out here because he knows those lonely dark and cold walks. Funny how ironic it is that for once you, Shia are experiencing the despair and agony that the Avenger witnesses to.

You want to get something perfectly clear? I shall do the something. Having wife by your side can do wonders for you, and shows that you are able to put wrestling aside, and actually have a life from this business, and makes you stronger when you got the support of a family, and I am proud everyday to have one, and don't care what you think, or anyone else who dares to try, and come in my path. Another thing, I don't fear anyone, and never have whether I team with you or not son. I already said that we are not friends, so you are just qouting my words, nor will we ever be one. When you try, and cross paths with me, be sure to not take things lightly, and think you got the upperhand when you have been shown in the past that things aren't always in what they seem, and you have to take things like its your last match everytime you step in that ring, and I exposed you of it twice, and I for damn sure don't mind doing it again if you want to down that dark path with me. I don't care who ya are. I'll continue to decline your offer to team with you because as I see it, you are the one that's looking for an alliance. Not me. You are the one who sees me as a threat, and you want me on your side so you wouldn't have to face me in the future. Sorry bro, but you'll just have to settle for facing me. Look on the bright side though, you could team with this punk standing next to ya, and that Cocky ass Angel. Angel is just as cocky as yourself if not more. I'd be the perfect fit, don't ya think?

He stops for a moment.

Further more, you two are just boring me right now, and haven't proved a damn thing in my eyes, but best believe that if you any try, and interupt my journey, you will pay one hell of a price!

Shia leaves the scene. Leaving Avenger, and Steel to themselves.

"Geez! The guy acts like he is the ultimate ass kicking machine, Mr I'm too good to be friends with anyone or even be civil to them! and he has the nerve to think that you, I and Angel are bad. I admit Angel is a little bit J-Lo but even he talks to me like a real person and not like a dog, and cocky I'm not cocky it's just confidence don't let it be confused with arrogance or cockiness!"

Logan was looking at Shia leaving as he said that, he then turns to Avenger and says

"Why are you here, and I mean in Chicago not just here right now? I mean you just turn up like this big star meet with Brandon Payne and then he sideswipes you? So shouldn't you be watching out for him?"

Logan looks Avenger right in the eye waiting for the man to speak...

Avenger turns to Logan Steel

The reason the Avenger is here is because he tends not to sleep as his dreams become his life or his life becomes his dreams. A man not worthy of such liberties as to have a normal life so he decides to share his pain with his combatants. Now the Avenger is here in Chicago because the dream home in Miami just couldn't finalize his life. The Avenger has nothing more to prove in the sport of pro wrestling as he has become a success and a real "Hot Commodity" in the language that is known as the internet.

Now Logan the Avenger has signed a very lucrative deal here in Chicago. The Avenger has always been a loyal employee and the money is not the factor for me coming back but the reckoning. The Avenger has a great life in Miami, Florida but at the end of the day that did not make the Avenger happy or get rid of all of the painful memories that still haunt the Avenger. So what is next for the Avenger? Only time will tell.

And you asked about Brandon Payne? Does the Avenger trust him since we went out to eat with some prominent individuals? Well the Avenger was out to give him a chance to break out of the sport of wrestling and market himself. Maybe not his cup of tea and in many ways not mine neither. The Avenger has done some bad things as so have we all but the Avenger can't and won't trust anyone. Why you ask? My heart and soul burn and won't allow it. The only thing that the Avenger can do is be the man that he has become. The man that this sick world has made him into. The man draped in black and as black on the inside. The man that will continue to live a life full of despair and allow his transgressions to flow until the pain is gone forever. How long will that be you wonder? Again only time will tell. The question is Logan you may have an up and down life but the life of the Avenger is one you don't want to have. And to go down the road and get in the way of the Avenger is another bad decision as well. Remember these words as the Avenger speaks them and that is a thief may take your possessions but if you allow it the world will take what is most precious to you.
