Miles couldn't believe it. Taking just three seconds to catch his breath, and get a second wind, the Ascension qualifier three way dance was over. Jack managed to roll-up Jean Bordeux unexpectedly into a small package and secured his place in the 6 way Ascension main event match. Miles, knowing it was too late to break the pin, just falls back on the mat. His chance, and he blew it. Well technically he didn't, since Jean was stupid enough to get played for a fool by another fool, but Miles could have stopped that attempt. Unfortunately, he was beyond worn out. There were times during the match that he had things under control, in his favor, but the odds were too much. The frickin' realization hits him like a ton of bricks. How would he get himself into the main event match at the final PPV of the season? That is one of the goals he set for himself. That he'd be where he should have been in the first place. THE elite of the elites. He sighs, as he rolls himself out of the ring, leaving that punk Jack to celebrate, since Miles had another match to deal with. And this match, LU!'s main event, is for the LockUp! Championship.
To fight another day, for what will be eventually his, he enviously stares at the ecstatic Jack Jyndal, hoping that that punk better win the damn thing. Miles will see him down the road again, to right the wrong made here tonight. With that in mind, he heads to the back, and prepare himself for the biggest match in his professional career thus far. Knowing that Sheetah had a match earlier in the night and funny enough he was the one pinned in his own qualifier, Miles hoped that he'd get the edge he needed to put away Sheetah, once and for all. Miles will be damned if he doesn't save that LockUp! title from obscurity...
