Chapter 1: The future in hands
Destiny is a strange thing, you never know what your own destiny is … before you see the sign … before somebody shows you the path … before you know who you are. Not just the person who you think you are … or the person who other people think you are. It goes deeper as that a lot deeper. You have to know who you truly are … you have to know your own fears … your own hopes … dreams … you have to know your true self … something that doesn’t happen over night … it is a long process, a learning process … but when you have finally reached the step of this self awareness the path suddenly become visible … the sign appears in front of you … everything you have waited for … everything you have dreamed about suddenly is clear and visible for you and then you have just to reach out … with your hand … reach for the sign but then you are still standing from the most important decision of your life … live the life you have known your whole life … or walk the path and become once with your destiny. The choice is yours …
A choice which has just appeared in front of this 26 year old woman in form of an advertisement for a in Chicago based wrestling company. A wrestling company lead and founded by Amanda Wallace and Candice Angel. Two women who Jessie Blair has meet in the past, two women who might not be happy to see Jessie again, not even to speak to hire her. But in the end, Jessie is an wrestler who is searching for a job. A job that she and her friend, student and love … Mikki Wilson are really needing for their survival. To survive in this cruel world you need money … and wrestling for a big company gives you the opportunity to earn a lot of money.
Global Championship Wrestling
Starting December 1st, Global Championship Wrestling will start contracting professional wrestlers and professional wrestling personnel for the launch of their new brand located in Chicago, Illinois. GCW will be a travelling wrestling promotion with show dates in various cities across the United States and even the world already being booked. The show will start on January 7th, when GCW produces their maiden pay-per-view, Exodus, from the United Center of Chicago, Illinois. Just who will compete?

This is an open contracting call for any and all professional wrestlers who wish to try their hand at something new, to build a company up from the ground upon their shoulders... for the pride of looking at it and knowing it was their blood, sweat, and tears that created something special. Our only requirements? Be a fully trained professional wrestler, "big fed experience" not required, and show up to the GCW Tower on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Illinois. You will be contracted, given the opportunity to perform in front of a sell-out crowd in the United Center. Living costs and health benefits shall be covered during the time of your employment with GCW, as well as travel costs covered.

Taking a quick a look at the advertisement that is visible at the monitor of the laptop which is standing on the table in the centre of the living room of the apartment in which Jessie and Mikki are currently living, … Jessie knows for sure that this might be the first step … in the direction of her destiny. A smile appears on her face as she walks closer to the table, the cup of hot chocolate that she is holding in her hand get placed on the table. Sitting down at the big couch, Jessie continues to try her wet hairs, which are still wet from the shower she took just a couple of minutes ago. Focusing her mind on the advertisement in front of her, Jessie leans back and starts to think about … this advertisement.
As it looks like the rumours are true, there will be indeed a wrestling promotion who will open its gates very soon. And who would have ever thought that his company is lead by this 2 women who have a bad history with Jessie. It would surprise her if anyone of them would give her a job. Not after that what has happened in the past …
Mandi properly still can remember the assault that happened to her on the hands of Jessie back in New York as Mandi was still a secretary girl. But on the other side … she desirved it back then and Jessie properly would do the same again if Mandi would start to talk crap about her again. Making fun of her cause she decided to quit the company after she didn’t get the title shot she should have get … the only reaction that Mandi was able to give was to talk trash about her …and the only logical answer that Jessie could give her at this time was a BitchKiller straight at the cement floor of the corridor …. Ah … the good old times … it was fun back then … and it is still nice to remember that.
Reaching for her hot chocolate Jessie picks it up with her hand and move the cup to her lips. Placing her lips on the cup, she slowly starts to drink a bit from the hot chocolate. It just taste wonderful and with a satisfied smile she place the cup back at the table …
And Candi … will properly hate her as well as both women had some sort of misunderstanding concerning a curtain title shot she didn’t received back in Toronto … a title show Jessie deserved as she has busted her ass in the weeks leading up to the final PPV, beating up the top talent in matches … even saving the champion from a beat down … with the result that some losers got the shot instead of her …
Well … in the end it was a similar situation as in New York with the result that Jessie left the company as well. Which brings her back to the present. In just a couple of days … GCW will open and without a doubt, Jessie knows that this could be her last chance to earn the respect of the fans … and all the wrestlers and people who have doubt her skills, her passion for this business … its time to walk the path … to shape her own destiny ….
