The night is dark. All the streets surrounding the prison are quite. Only the few street lights, light the isolated area. Inside the prison the inmates were all in there cell, getting there weekly T.V feed. Overkill sat in cell 295.Waiting, Overkill knew that in 15 hours he would be free. To some degree. He will be taken out from deathrow and able to wrestle again.
How did my Lawyer do it?
How did i get this second chance?
Overkill whispered to himself as the T.V was switched to the news.
*Tonight Breaking News* *A inmate and former Pro Wrestler gets a second chance at life*
Thats right everyone, Im Jane Lacey and now for breaking news. Tonight in a grueling court case a Chicago lawyer defeated the odds to beat the law system. He won his client the right to a second chance. The former pro wrestler only know as Overkill, will be realesed on probation tonight, on the one condition he wrestles for a pro circuit. This controversial decision comes with the foundation of a loop hole in the US legal system.
The decision comes with some restrictions though. Overkill is not allowed to leave the wrestling arena. And must be locked up at night in a specially built dressing room. Other than that, the self-confessed serial killer is allowed to do whatever he wants, in the confides of the law. Is this good or bad for Americas Law System? Are more potential Killers going to be realized on probation? We went to the streets of New York to find out...........
CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
The T.V signal cuts out, and a guard walks towards overkills cell.
Prisoner 295. Time to go.
Nothing is heard. The silence of the prison is startling to all the inmates. Before long the prison guard walks up towards the cell door and bangs it.
BANG! BANG!
The bang of the guards baton echos around the prison. Before the guard could bang one more time a chuckle was projected from the cell.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
The sadistic laugh is herd through the whole prison. The guard walks up and opens the prison door. Shackles prisoner 295 and begins to escort him down the rusty old stairs. The laugh is still heard through the prison. Echoing in the back of the prisoners minds.
Most of the prisoners begin to ask themselves.........
Why him?
Why not me?
.............as they see inmate 295 or Overkill walk into freedom..........for now!
