"Right, freedom. Just need to find a place to get trained.... ugh.. means dealing with old men being all grabby....
I hate my life...
__Downtown Chicago~On The Prowl For Wrestling Gyms__
... I really do."
Becca hugs her elbows as she crosses her arms over her chest. Still in her hoodie and jeans with sneakers. Screw dressing up to go out in public, she was looking for training.... not a man's warm bed to bunk in. Very different. She walks down the winding streets of Chicago while looking around at all of the various gyms passing by. Not exactly the kind she was looking for, she was really straight up looking for training. A pipe dream she was well aware, nothing just falls into your lap.
"If it did I'd of hit that quick pick six lotto a million times by now...."
She continues on, yawning as she does. Tired, tired... tired tired tired, tired, tired.... oh how she was so tired. Tiiiiired, tired tired tt-haaa-ired. Oh God... Becca stops as she realizes she's slowly starting to make modified songs in her mind involving the word tired. If that's not a sad moment to have hit you nothing is really. She rolls her right sleeve up a bit as she waits at a crosswalk for the light to change.
"Wrestling.... I can do that, yeah no problem. Sure... it's "fake" after all. I wasn't hurt at all when that pint sized mini hot wheel of an opponent drove her knees into the back of my neck in the corner. Naaaaah... I was "faking" the pain for the crowd's sake.
Oh yeah.... denial is sweet."
The light changes and Becca crosses the street with the rest of the button down, blue blood collared business suit bee hive that seemed to magically appear all matrix style at the end of the crosswalk she was at. After managing to break through all of that mess, she looks around and realizes she's on the same street as the cafe she'd stopped by the other day. Where she met Dezzy, who in some small way helped her want to be a wrestler. Hence the discovery of GCW. As she walks up the street slowly, hugging her elbows, Becca stops at the side of the cafe looking up at the sign with a bit of a smile.
".... God I wish this place was a gym."

Having left the GCW Tower for a short break after hours of hours of discussing what and which place GCW should take in the world known as wrestling. The woman known as Kimberly Masters is walking down the streets of the big city of Chicago to find a nice place to relax herself after all this talking, planning and strategy with her fellow colleges of GCW. Reaching up with her hand, Kim let it slide through her hair as she tries to get it under control as the wind is blowing pretty strong. Its difficult for her to tame it and so she quickly pull it all together and then she creates a ponytail with the help of a band she is always wearing with herself.
Walking down the street, Kim is looking for a nice café to get a good coffee latte for her little break. It is not easy to find a good restaurant or café when you have first arrived in a city and Kimberly has just arrived here in Chicago. She and her personal assistant, Christina have already visit some of the local bars during their of time to relax a bit. But non then less Kim was not able yet to find a favourite café or restaurant of her own. But this can change every day of course … maybe even today.

"Well.... training isn't going to hit me in the face, might as well get back to looking for.....
....."
Becca turns her attention to the woman walking down the same street she stands on. Her eyes squint as she stares at the woman as she gets closer and closer. Becca knew that face. She couldn't be fucked to remember where or how she knew it, but she had seen that face before. She rolls up her left sleeve a bit, still folding her arms over her chest. Trying to figure it out quickly as the woman seems, at least to Becca, be on a course with the cafe she was standing in front of. Finally, it hits her dead on. Becca tilts her head up as the woman gets closer and closer, Becca finally calls out.
"Masters.
You're Kimmy Masters right? From uh.... from.. sorry it's escaping me but you're involved or.... were involved, in wrestling, right?"
Becca tries not to start a conversation right away due to the fact that Kimmy was more than likely probably against talking to strangers on the street. Becca needed confirmation, it sure looked like Masters. Now the hard part was trying to remember how the hell she knew the face and name. Part of her wanted to say T.V. just..... from where?

Hm?
Was Kimberly’s first reaction after a young woman, … who is standing in front of the café, which Kim has decided to visit during her little break, … has started to talk with her. The strange thing at this situation is for Kimberly that the young black haired woman also knows her name. Well not her whole name as just a few friends of her are calling Kim, Kimmy and as far as she can remember this young woman is non of them. Tilling her head to the side she tries to figure out who this person is, but as she didn’t come to an conclusion if she knows her or not she simple continues to talk.
Yes, I am Kimberly Masters … but who you are? Do we know each other Miss …?

"I knew it was you...
Oh, no... sorry. You don't know me, I just recognized you from somewhere.... I could have sworn I've seen you on T.V. I just.... can't place where. Oh uh... yeah
My name's Becca, it's uh.... well I guess this is meeting you so, nice to meet you Kim."
That wasn't awkward at all. Very smooth and straight on, good job. Becca instantly feels like a dork at the "playing it cool" type attitude she'd put on when talking to Kim. Joy. Becca hops over the little barrier of the cafe's outside property and the sidewalk as she takes a seat in one of the chairs. It was kind of obvious Kim had come here for the cafe so, Becca figures why the hell not? She met Dez here, met Taarja here.... now she's meeting someone else here. Seems to be a good focus point of her Chicago life at this point.
"So um.... you ARE in the wrestling business right? Cause I could have seriously sworn I've seen you on T.V. somewhere...."

This could bet he chase … I have worked for a few wrestling promotions in the past, either as manager or as an authority person.
Kimberly slowly walks around the barrier, while still looking over to the young woman who has just sat down in one of the chairs of the outside arena of the café. After a short walk she has reached the table at which the young woman …. Becca is sitting. Kimberly joins her and sit down on one of the empty chairs as well.
But that lays all behind me … right now I am something like a free agent who is searching for her next big role … or better said job. Might already have something … a new role … but we should maybe talk about other things. I am surprised that you know my name … Becca. I am not really a well known celebrity or a big star.

"I kind of watch wrestling every now and then when I want a nice stress release. Kind of like therapy, watch a couple matches, yell at the television and eat dinner. I guess after meeting a couple people here in Chicago I got more interested in the whole business. I even found this website thing about GCW. I was actually out here trying to find some training so come the opening I could maybe apply. That search.... not going so well to be honest. But I've been at this cafe before, good place so... meh. It works out you know?"
Becca smiles a bit as she stares at Kim after she sits down. Hopefully a different waiter would be around this time, Becca didn't feel like looking like a idiot in front of someone who has actual pull in the business she herself felt like getting into sometime soon. It wouldn't be wise to burn any bridges within a community she wasn't even IN you know? Becca rolls both her sleeves up again as they start to fall slightly, running her fingers through her hair and tucking the left side of it behind her ear.
"So... if you're in Chicago for a potential business thing, is that involving GCW too?"

That could be … to be concrete I am indeed working for GCW. But there is still a lot to do for us till we open for the application month and I am pretty sure we will have even more to do when all this wrestlers who are searching fame and attention are knocking on our gates to impress us with their skills. But is a week not a bit of a short time to get in the shape to become a wrestler? I mean … 1 week is not exactly much … and even the best trainer will need a few month to teach you everything you need to know to survive in the ring. … So you would really need to hurry up and try to find somebody who can help you … or somebody who may know somebody who could help you … you know Becca?

"Yeah I have to admit, my time line isn't looking up in my favor. I had three months of training a while back, had one match recently.... nearly drained me of all energy. Seriously exhausting. I've met a couple wrestlers here in Chicago, I'm not sure I could openly ask for one of them to train me though. He looks like he'd be a good trainer but.... well it'd be a bit weird asking someone who doesn't even know me. All I know is the add said I need full training, so.... I've got to find it somewhere. I'm thinking, like you said, it'll take more than a week for me to actually learn how to do this. So I may have to get a contract signed a bit after the opening date.
I doubt the owners would even let me sign as is, I remember hearing the name Amanda as one of them. She has like, other kinds of fame from the past too from what I've been hearing. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure trainers demand payment up front for their services. Which is not my best quality right now, kind of hoping to get the wrestling job so I could put myself in a BETTER quality of money actually. Same reason I took the match down in South Carolina with CWA, money. I mean, the job has to pay well right? To cover medical and living expenses and all that. So you're like, management I'm guessing."

Yes, I am one of the General Managers of GCW. But I really wouldn’t worry so much about medical care as that is, in the chase of GCW covered by the company itself. On the other side you are right of course … trainer cost money and money is what we need after all for living. Hm …
Kimberly leans back in her chair and starts to rub her sleeves with her hands as she tries to think about this whole situation. One side of her really wants to help this young woman to help her to get started … but on the other side … why should it? She don’t know her … she could care less about other people … but there is still the business side on this situation. What if, if Kim don’t help her now and the girl becomes a big star somewhere else. Lets face it something like this happened back in Toronto with a 16 year old girl who has become Women Champion. Young talent need the right support …
You know what Becca … we are actually talking about some project to support the young and raising wrestlers. The concept is pretty easy … you sign a contract with GCW and then this project starts … you will search for older more experience wrestlers who work for GCW and ask them for help and guidance. If we don’t see any results from your side … the contract will be terminated … but if you work as good as you can and develop … then this contract will turn in a full time contract for GCW. Of course this is still not fix if we will do it like that … but it can never hurt you to visit us and maybe meet some of the wrestlers who want to work for our company. You might find somebody who will take you under his wings.

"Come 'gain?
You serious? Well, shit.... yeah! I'd be willing to do that. I wrote down the address from the interenet ad I saw and everything, I was actually thinking about contacting it myself but.... I figured you know I'd get turned away. I've had one match and three months of training, I'm sure some of the people who will show up are like.... ten year vets or something. But... wow yeah I'd love to go visit and see you know like you said what I could do, maybe find someone there who knows more about this than I do. Like... I'm sure EVERYONE knows about this more than I do but..... wow that'd be awesome. Thank you very very much Kimmy. That's awesome. I really kind of wish I had gotten Dez's number now so I could tell him about this...."
The waiter approaches. Becca turns her attention to him, hoping... praying, begging from the depths of her soul that it was someone else. Thankfully the Gods smile on her this day unlike so many other days, it's someone new. As the waiter approaches, Becca sits up straight a bit and smiles at Kim. This was a very very big chance for Becca, it was like an invitation almost.
"Hi can I take your orders this evening ladies?"
"Well uh... I'll have another shrimp cocktail. Had one of those here the other day and it was just delicious. What are you going to have Kimmy?"
Both Becca and the waiter look over at Kim, awaiting her order, if one at all. Becca however had bigger things on her mind, as big of a chance as this was.... it could also turn into a pit fall. If she doesn't find someone with experience, it could be a big big bad issue. Not to mention well, it's still gonna suck ass to be beaten up for a living. Only way that'd balance is if Becca managed to find a way to whoop someone's ass in return.

What were the chances? After running into her, and the encounter with Taarja again in this same place, here she was again. Was she ordering the exact same thing? She was.
Dez couldn't help but give himself a quick brush off before heading in, especially seeing another familiar face in Kim Masters with her.
A quick minute later and Dez was walking inside the door and pretending as if he had just run into them both. Becca, Ms. Masters! How nice to see you both again.
I haven't seen you since APW closed down for the offseason Kim. Is it opening back up soon, or are you in town for that GCW company thats opening up.He flashes a quick smile to Becca as he turns his eyes and attention back to Kim Masters

"Hey!
It's you! I was actually just talking about you Dez. I found a... APW?
So THAT's where I saw you from Kimmy! I knew you were on T.V. somewhere... but yeah, I was talking about you Dez. I found a bunch of information about the company you were talking about, the one opening here in Chicago. Kimmy here is one of the General freaking Managers, can you believe that? I ran into her on the street here and we started talking about it. But yeah, it's called GCW. Some woman named Amanda is running it.
Kimmy here just dropped me a mega chance here, she said I could come down and visit the place to see if I'd be able to fit in or not. Sign a contract when the time comes when it opens, and if I can get someone to train me and stuff I'd be able to keep the contract solid despite well... you know, not having a whole lot of experience.
I was ACTUALLY hoping that someone could be YOU Dez. I just had no idea of how to contact you or anything."

I don't know whether it's creepy, chance or even fate that brought me in here then. It is kinda scary to think about. The chances of my arrival here moments after your talking about me...He bites his lip. Better not say too much or else it WOULD be taken as if he was a stalker. He's not though. It was by CHANCE he was there and FATE that would have him here being asked to help her train Train you? Whoa.. that's.. well thats a good idea. I like it. Getting into the ring again, would probably help me shake some cobwebs loose and might stir some memories back in my head. I think it's a great idea. That is.. if it's alright with Kim Masters here. I mean, theres gotta be a catch to it. Probably already some named trainers or something. Guaranteed they've got guys and girls already for training. Am I right?Again he turns his attention to Kim Masters who had yet to say a single word. It kind of scared him. Did she recognize him? Could she recognize him? If she did, it'd do great things for his psyche, to be able to fully understand whats going on, and focus properly on the task at hand. Whatever that task was..

I would like a coffee latte.
The waitress nods with her head after Kimberly has told her what she wanted to drink. After a few conforming words the waitress turns around and leave the two ladies alone … but not for long as soon after her disappearance a young man arrived at the table. Becca seams to know him as she calls him by his name, which is Dez. Or better said the name he has told Becca how she should call him. Kimberly knows this man as well, she has meet him a few times in Toronto so to speak … but this lays of course in the past. Kim is actually more focused in the future … not only her own but also that of the company she works for.
While she is listing to that what Dez and Becca have to tell each other, she starts to play a bit with a strain of her hairs that is still hanging in her face. Twisting it between her fingers … something she tends to do when she is a bit bored. But this changed soon as Dez asked Kim about some wrestlers who might be able to train Becca instead of him, who have more experience. Kimberly shakes her head to answer this question.
No, sadly not yet. We haven’t sign any wrestlers yet. The big sign up month starts at December 1st and that is when everybody will get the first opportunity to be a part of GCW. But non then less, I am confident that the one or other veteran will get a job at GCW … and of course I am sure they will be very happy to train some newcomers and show them what this business is all about.
