He won. Broke the rat's neck in the middle of the ring. Pinned him. 1. 2. 3. Game over Joe Bruiser. He said he was going to do it. He came out there. And he did it. Putting on one of the best matches he's had in a long time. He found himself backstage now. Dumping a water bottle ontop of his head as he walked. Smirking as he walks. But something caught his attention. The sound of footsteps coming up behind him. The sound of a female's voice called out to him.
Interviewer: "187! 187! Can I get a word with you?"
Stopping in his tracks. He turned around with an arched eyebrow. Lowering the water bottle from his head. After what she had said registered in his mind as he didn't catch it first. He began to nod his head. Responding to her.
"Yeah. Sure." Whatcha want?"
She caught up to him quickly. Holding the microphone to her lips, she began to start speaking again.
Interviewer: "That match was just simply amazing. You came after being gone for monthes and monthes. You saw. And you conquered. How are you feeling?"
She held the microphone out to 187 to respond.
"How do I feel? What kind of question is that? How do you think I feel? I feel great. I feel better than ever. I know. A few monthes ago... I said I was done with this business. I felt I don't need to prove anything anymore. I was stepping down from the wrestling world and was just going to call it a career. Head out to the Carribbeans and light one up as I chill on the beach enjoying retirement. Probably just help them new cats back in Compton who want to break into this business. Leave the business and call it quits. But you know what? Guess I just couldn't stay away. Guess I couldn't just put the boots away. You know? But guess what? Five years just doesn't seem to be long enough to establish my legacy in this. Five years of Tha Infamous 187 giving you people the best damn matches you've ever seen just didn't seem right. It just didn't seem like the right thing to do. It wan't my time. Not yet. Fuck it. You just seen... in front of millions... that Tha Infamous 187? That guy STILL has it. And you know what? It feels great. And this is only the beginning. This is only the beginning of the chapter in my career entitled "GCW." It's time for a comeback. And I think I've let the people wait long enough."
Interviewer: "Great news. What are your plans for the future here in GCW?"
He shrugged his shoulders.
"Hell, if I know... If a title comes my way, so be it. I'll hold a title for a little while. It don't matter to me. I'm just here to put the wrestling industry back on track. It seems it's gotten so off since I've been gone. It's really quite sad what this business has come too recently. I'm going to bring it back down to Earth. Bring it back down to reality. Show these cats how it's done again. Show them what a real champion looks like. You know? A lot of these new cats all want to believe their own hype. They believe that they are the future of this business. They believe that they are going to be the one to shape the future. They believe they are going to be the next big thing. The next big hype. The next legend. Whatever the hell the title it is you feel the need to give yourself to make yourself feel better about yourself. Once you prove yourself worthy of the name, maybe I'll recognize you as a force. It don't matter who it is on the other side of that ring. I'ma just run through whoever want the war the Infamous one. I don't give a damn who it is. It could be anyone in the locker room. LockUp! or MayheM. I don't give a damn. Bring it bitches. I ain't going anywhere, anytime soon. You know? You don't think I got it anymore? You think I'm over? Ask the rat. Ask Joe Bruiser how his neck feels. He'll tell ya. Fuck it. Just watch this match over and over again. You'll see. And that's just an example of what'll happen to anyone who dares to step in my path. Now... I'll be back on my way. Got places to go. Got people to see. Holla!"
He threw up a peace sign in the camera before walking off. Heading back on down the hall. Ready to go have his own little celebration. The camera turned back to the woman with the microphone.
Interviewer: "You heard right here folks. Tha Infamous 187 is back and better than ever. Let's hope to see more of him soon in the near future."
Then the camera fades to black. Rat exterminated. Who's next?
